I have to give Mitch's five stars because it's honestly just a special place. A real dose of local flavor. Mr. Mitch and his employees are helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. Overall, just a good group of people to talk to. The selection is eclectic. Their main inventory is firearms. There is a huge selection of both new and used guns. But this is one of the few places where you can drive away with a pile of guns and ammo, farm equipment and a boat on your brand new (to you) tractor trailer. The prices on guns are very reasonable. There are also two gun ranges. These are not like other gun ranges you have been to. There aren't stalls. But I am not aware of any place where you can pay $5 to shoot your own ammo on your own gun into a giant trash pile (bring your own targets...empty wine bottles, actual targets, be creative). If your gun was bought there, it's free to use the range. My husband and I have started bringing our visiting out of town guests to Mitch's for a couple of hours of recreational entertainment. Rifle arrived to the FFL dealer I had you sent it to, Friday April 15, 2011, in the evening. Sunday, April 17, 2011, I picked the rifle from the FFL dealer. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************* A few issues - 1. Bluing was not in excellent shape as stated in the description - It has wear marks or lighter bluing on the middle area of the barrel to front of rifle. 2. Bore and barrel inside were dirty and slightly rusted - had not been cleaned from previous own when you received it. 3. Shipping (packaging) was VERY POOR - Rifle bolt broke through the box and was slightly damaged in shipping to the Michigan - see attached picture. Bubble wrap was insufficient for transportation - rifle moved around - see attached picture. Next time put rifle in a padded gun socket or wrap in bubble wrap for shipping and use enough packaging material for a tight fit to prevent movement of object being shipped. Need to improve this if I were to do business with you in the future. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Description from Gunbroker.com - a little mis-represented from the issue I stated above. Up for bid is a Very Nice Remington 700 BDL with 1 detachable magazine. It is chambered in 30-06 SPRG and has a 23 inch barrel. The blueing is in Excellent condition. The stock is a satin finish walnut. There are a few very minor dings in the stock but nothing through the finish. The action is smooth and tight and the bore is bright and shiny like new.
