    If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Our wedding was in August 2015. We had wanted a venue that was out in nature. Our vision was to be in the middle of a forest surrounded by music and loved ones having a celebration of our union. It ended up being an adventure of love that lasted the whole weekend long. That was our favorite part of this venue...we could rent it out the whole weekend and not break the bank! The moment we went to look at the land and speak to the owners, Pam and Fred, I knew that there wasn't a need to look any further. There aren't many other options around town that offer what this venue does so I jumped on the chance to book them. We wanted a hands on wedding where we decided what it would look like from the ceremony to celebration. Pam and Fred were so supportive through our process that they never wanted to interfere with any ideas we had. Only offered suggestions to encourage our vision.The level of communication they offered was what really made them the heart of this experience for us. So much that they were invited to our wedding. When we searched for a venue we wanted certain freedoms. This venue offered us the chance to celebrate without worrying about time, space, and noise restrictions. We had music going on til 4am, dancing under the stars! The venue is further from town with the last mile being a dirt road. Our guests came from all over. No problems finding places to stay as well as driving to the location. We also hired a shuttle to take guests to and from the wedding so that dirt road was easy enough for anyone to drive on. All our vendors (food, equipment and shuttle) were able to drive to our locations with ease. Pam and Fred offer great suggestions if you need vendors. Since we rented this place for the whole weekend then we wanted to take advantage of it. We held a BBQ the day before and after the wedding. This gave us time to set up and break down our decorations, equipment rental as well as make any last minute adjustments. We invited our guests to help out and in return had a BBQ with games. It gave our guests a chance to really get to know each other. Our family and friends said that having all that time really gave them an opportunity to connect and by the end feel like one big family. It is hard to express everything I want without writing a novel. We worked very hard to create a ceremony and celebration that expressed our union. We fumbled on some stuff but hit the mark when we picked this venue to have it at. The only bummer was thinking we should have held the ceremony in the evening versus afternoon. Night time came to quickly!! I would have held the ceremony earlier to take advantage of taking my time as the bride to relax into the celebration and sit back to enjoy the breath taking land we were dancing on. My husband and I are already thinking of renting the space again to have an anniversary party! Mostly I want to be best friends with Pam and Fred. After you meet them then you'll understand why. =)

Instead of running our 100,000. 135 person wedding on the actual day of...our planner Taylor Lorz was only there briefly in the beginning, then left and handed it over to her assistant. The 86 candles we had on our beautiful tables never got lit the entire night. Very dissapointing. Her assistant just shrugged her shoulders when I asked her about it.

My fiance and I were so impressed after the initial consultation and knew we had to have her as our planner. Right after we booked OUATE, my fiance and I had a meeting with Jessica and basically told her everything we wanted, what we didn't want and what we dreamed of having but didn't think we could afford. She also had us fill out a questionnaire to get a sense of our style, get to know us and get an idea of what we envision for our dream wedding. After reviewing everything we gave her, she created a design board with everthing we had talked about. I loved how we got to go thourgh and point out what we liked and what we didn't like. This gave us a great sense of what our wedding was going to look like. Since I had a very hard time picking a theme and staying with that direction, this really helped me get on track and focus on one thing at a time. This also really helped me stop stressing and feeling overwhelmed and let me enjoy the wedding planning process. As a bride, I knew I wanted to be involved in the fun stuff but not the boring, budget related stuff. Jessica was amazing at handling all the stuff I didn't want to do or did not know how to do. We gave her our total budget and she planned around that very well and helped us stay on track. She also did all of the orders (which were a ton since we had our wedding at private estate and had to bring everything in) and delt with the most of our vendors. She has a great working relationship with a ton of wedding vendors in Reno that she was able to get things done and get them done fast! And she had wonderful recommendations for our wedding vendors. We loved them all! During the whole wedding planning process Jessica and her sister, Cassie kept us on track and made sure we were getting things done when they needed to be done. I loved how they took all of my ideas and wishes and made them happen without any questions. The whole time, they were professional but so nice and fun to work with! It made wedding planning a lot of fun! The day of the wedding, I had absolutley nothing to worry about. I sat in the house and got ready while Jessica, Cassie and her team set everything up and dealt with all the vendors. The wedding was not too big but the whole production of it was a lot! We had a ton of flowers, a fire pit, a dessert bar, photo booth, a lounge and a ton of details such a signage and personalized items. Jesssica and her team were so organized and executed everything PERFECTLY! It was above and beyond anything I had even imagined. We had an absolute blast from the moment we started ideating to our last visit where we picked up our boxes of belongings and said goodbye-for-now. My husband and I were equally sad (still sad!) to no longer have our standing meeting with Vanessa after more than a year of discussions, tastings, decisions and getting to know each other. Vanessa has a remarkably calm, collected presence. She's just as organized and detail-oriented. She's exceptionally talented at balancing ideas and perspectives, turning wild hairs and ridiculousness into event magic, and communicating with kindness and grace. Our interactions with Stephanie and the rest of the team were no different. In addition to our wedding and reception at High Camp, they helped us plan our Friday Welcome event at West Shore Café which by guest count, was larger than our wedding and reception. They helped us arrange a "kids village" and location for our after-party. Every detail across multiple events -- from the decor, vendor selection, flow, and tending to the various needs of 250+ guests -- was flawless. We're profoundly grateful to One Fine Day for making our wedding weekend more than we could have ever dreamed it to be. We went back and forth on whether to hire a coordinator at all since we were planning a more intimate wedding with a smaller budget, and we thought we could handle the day of coordination ourselves with help from family. I am so glad we decided to work with Tory from Tahoe Bride instead of trying to do it ourselves. She was able to work with our budget and even though we went with the day-of-coordination package, Tory put in hours and hours of planning work including phone calls, emails and texts in the 6+ months leading up to the wedding. Our venue was a family cabin on the lake, which came with its own challenges in terms of layout and space for guests. Tory handled every challenge with extreme professionalism and expertise. We had to change the game plan for the wedding several times leading up to the big day because of concerns about the lake level, and Tory worked with us the whole time even when changing plans the week before. We were also working with the affiliated EventMasters company for rentals, and Tory came out on the day that they did the venue evaluation to help us coordinate all the rentals. On the day of the wedding, she was invaluable--setting up decorations, coordinating vendors, making sure everything flowed smoothly and just making it possible for my husband, family and I to relax and enjoy the day. I can't recommend Tahoe Bride, and Tory in particular, enough.

Boy were we wrong! We are SO incredibly thankful to have hired Tahoe Bride and in particular, Larrisa, as our wedding coordinator. She was absolutely amazing! Larrisa is an easy-going and fun-loving individual who is very easy to talk to and really knows her stuff! She went above and beyond to help us coordinate our perfect wedding day. Even though we had just hired her for the day of the wedding, she spent countless hours on the phone communicating with us and coordinating every detail to make our wedding day perfect. On the day of our wedding she handled everything from our design layout and set-up of equipment, to putting on corsages/boutonnieres, telling everyone where to go and stand, coordinating with all the vendors that we hired, she was even so thoughtful as to bring us water throughout the day (much needed!), and making everything run smoothly and on time... Larrisa even offered to hand off our payments to our vendors at the end of the day so we didn't have to worry about it (that is the last you want to be worried about at the end of your wedding day). My family was especially grateful that they were able to enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about a thing! After the wedding we received many wonderful compliments from our guests about Larrisa and her wedding coordination skills. If you are getting married in Lake Tahoe, I highly recommend going with Tahoe Bride and asking for Larrisa. You won't be disappointed!
