We had to hire a lawyer to get them to finish…read more Initially, we were delighted with Seal the Deal. Their quote was a good price and they even found a better plan for the install that cost us less money. The install was great; the township inspector actually said it was one of the cleaner installs he'd seen. We love our new heat pump and everything is working great. If we'd stopped there, this would be a five star review. However, they still needed to fix a couple of things, remove our old oil tank and give us the purchase information for the warranty on the system. At that point, all communication stopped. They did not respond to phone calls or texts for several months until, on a hunch, I called them from a different number. One of the owners actually picked up, PRETENDED TO HAVE PHONE PROBLEMS, and hung up on me. At that point, we hired a lawyer. It took more time, but eventually they did make good on their promises. And, to be fair, they didn't ask for the remaining money we owed them but we had to pay the lawyer so financially it was a wash for us. To sum up: install-fabulous, aftercare-absolutely terrible. As it is, I would not recommend Seal the Deal unless they get someone else doing the scheduling.

We needed to replace a cast iron baseboard along an outside wall in our bathroom. The base board…read moreunit developed a leak and needed to be replaced, so we called Santos Mechanical. Immediately they told us they could replace the baseboard. They provided us with several options. After choosing a baseboard, Santos Mechanical quickly ascertained the parts, removed the old unit, and replaced the new unit and parts. They worked efficiently, maintained a neat working environment, and completed the job with functionality and an excellent appearance. In addition to the replacement of the unit, our entire system had to be drained. After completing the replacement Santos Mechanical had to refill our entire system which has two different phases. They had to be in our entire house where they carefully moved furniture when necessary. They were very careful to cleanup as they went from room to room. They are very trustworthy and considerate of our home. The price was very reasonable and the estimate reflected the final costs of the entire repair.

Josh was responsive, prompt, and communicative. I had called & asked prior to his visit if, when he was here, he would be able to fix a pop up drain and leaking jacuzzi jet. The jet proved to be more involved and it would have been a seek and find for parts from jacuzzi because the tub is 30 years old. I let him know not to pursue that as the jets on the tub are functional. He was able to easily fix the pop up drain and cleared the drain for us too. Josh was professional, fair in pricing and a pleasure to work with. If you need plumbing work call Aiken & Sons. Don't waste your time hounding and chasing after Zoom Drains or Horizon Services.
