They have so many varieties to choose from, our favorite our Honeycrisp - they were so sweet and delicious. I feel like that is a sign of a well kept orchard. If you don't want to pick your own they do have pre bagged apples too in the store. They also have baked good treats and candy covered apples. The prices are very reasonable compared to other orchards more toward Southern Maine. It's a no frills type of place, but who needs that when you just want a bag of apples. The tractor ride was entertaining for our nephew. It can get a little chilly and "exhaust fumey" but it's a fun tradition. Parking can get a little tricky since it relies on people to have good spacial awareness. LOL Oh well, trips there shouldn't take you more than an hour. I recommend this orchard if you are in the area.

I recently ordered some "Get Well Soon" flowers for a remote coworker, as he had mentioned to me…read morethat he'd be having surgery. Since I wanted to ensure they were fresh flowers, delivered in a vase, to arrive on the day of his surgery, I decided to order in advance directly from a local florist versus the 1-800 online option. I found Augusta Florist and ordered on their website. Unfortunately for my coworker, the surgery got postponed, TWICE! Fortunately for me, I ordered directly from Augusta Florist and was able to call them both times and request a cancelation. They refunded me the entire amount both times, without hesitation! The third surgery date actually happened! My coworker got his surgery! But I forgot to order the flowers!! I had been so busy/caught up with work that it just slipped my mind. The day I realized it (this past Monday), I went online and ordered right away. If you order by 1pm, Augusta Florist can deliver same day. What were once incredible apple pies overflowing with apples are now a shadow of their former selves having shrunk in size. They also cost more. So it is less for more. Same with the donuts. They are now more like mini donuts. More of, less for more. Don't mind paying more because of the Biden inflation. But do mind the shrinkage in size.
