For me it was the butternut, for my sister it was the choco frosted and for my mother it was the boston crème. We would often have a box at home, kept inside the refrigerator to be brought as "baon" to school or as an after meal dessert. These days, you would see huge donut chains around the metro. Most of them I find too sweet or too creamy for my palate. I guess a part of me still longs for my childhood favorite and it comes in a form of a round, very soft butternut from Dunkin.

The donut names have a fun twist to common Hollywood names. For example: Alcapone, Jacky Chunk, Avocado DiCaprio, Berry Spears, Blue Barrymore, Snow Ice, etc. I've tried all/most of them, but I forget all of them now. I'll list my favorites: Alcapone: It's a donut dipped in white chocolate and toasted almonds. Not too sweet and the toasted almonds give it a good balance. (4.5 stars) Caviar Chocolate: It's a donut dipped in hazelnut chocolate topped with chocolate crispies. The chocolate crispies are a fun texture. It's like biting into a donut Crunch bar.
