I've always had good memories of Dunkin' Donuts. I relate their munchkins with elementary school potlucks, their croissants with homey family breakfasts, and their donuts with an afternoon pasalubong pick-me-up from the folks. It's why it fills me with unnecessary, beaming pride when I introduce to friends the 24/7 Dunkin' Donuts in our area of Aurora-Balete. It's been there as far back as I can remember, and even though now DD's strawberry candy sprinkles only cover a fraction of the donut and choco butternut has been relegated to being a "premium" donut (no more do they join your regular box of munchkins), I still come back regularly to the local DD for a bite.
They're pretty spacious and quiet enough, considering they're beside a main avenue. It's an evening oasis as there are few else businesses near it that would be open--just the gasoline station beside it and the convenience store across the street. It's perfect for a post-last full show dessert coming from Magnolia, an alternative to your usual coffee places for your study session, or a midnight jaunt for a late night pig-out. read more
