Dunkin Donuts has been around since I was a kid, and my childhood is littered with fond memories of my mom taking me to a branch back in Cagayan de Oro to pick one every other day as an after school snack. I recall always having chosen among Butternut, Boston Kreme, and Choco Wacko, with Butternut winning more often than not.
With the arrival of Krispy Kreme, my dedication to my beloved Dunkin Donuts faded (but not my love), and now I've had my fill of Krispy Kreme donuts, I'm finally back to Dunkin Donuts' less sweet and more familiar flavors. I think they underwent some sort of rebranding, because there are lot more Dunkin Donuts cafes now, and a wider selection that caters to older crowds now, with flavors like Cinnamon and Red Velvet. Still, Dunkin Donuts is back in my heart as my favorite donut to nibble on for an afternoon snack, and it sure helps that it's lighter on the pocket!
The only reason this isn't getting 5 stars is because this particular stall has such a small selection, and the station it's in is very crowded. read more
