I've been eyeing this place ever since it popped up, but since it's located all the way in…read moreMcKinley Hill.............*crickets* which in my mind is hard to get to if you commute, and convenient if you have a car (which I don't!). I took the opportunity to find these bagels when my work meeting was situated nearby and I was forced to get my butt to McKinley Hill. I went here for a bagel and instead I got a veggie sandwich because it seemed like a better, heartier choice for someone who is HANGRY. It came with artichokes (which didn't really taste much like anything, but doesn't it make the sandwich description seem much fancier? And the price, higher? I mean at 230 pesos for a veggie sandwich, I would expect rainbows coming out of every bite). I had the mayo replaced with mustard so it's vegan, and the mustard really improved the flavor, as I would imagine if it was mayo it would be bland and tad bit disappointing. The slice of wheat sandwich bread was really soft and beautiful, but it became soggy quite quickly. Guess there's a reason why this place isn't named L.E.S. Sandwiches, because the bagels are really glorious (and vegan!). I decided to get a cinnamon raisin bagel to go, and I'm glad I did because it was really worth the Php60 price tag. It was flavorful, dense and chewy (in a good way), and quite sizeable, too. What a beautiful bagel! If only they would open a branch in Makati... and if they came up with vegan-friendly version of their cream cheese dips...or hummus! I'd be so happy.

Was never a fan of bagels until I tried LES Bagels. The gelato-like presentation of the cream…read morecheese choices is enough to make me ditch all my high-fat, high-carb bagel fears. Lox, black pepper truffle, garlic and chives, blueberry -- spread 'em thickly on my all-wheat bagel, please!! And guess what, they do fulfill your cream cheese dreams here - get ready a thick, thick, thick bed of cream cheese in between your sliced bagel. And of course, we must talk about the bagel. Probably the best in Manila. Really good texture and flavor. Not bland, not overpowering, just the right punch to complement your cream cheese choice. My favorites? Lox + all-wheat bagel and their blueberry cream cheese + chocolate bagel. Just one rant, though: the place can feel a bit stuffy even with the aircon on full blast. But yeah, good thing their bagels distract from this every single time.

I do not not like the dishonesty of your employees. I ordered Hot Oatmilk Seasalt Caramel, but…read moreinstructed the cashier to make sure that the caramel syrup is served separately in a little cup because of my concern about the sugar content of the syrup. I am scheduled for blood tests the next day for my HBa1C and many other tests. I didn't received the coffee with the Caramel Syrup in a little cup, but I was thinking that they probably just didn't give it to me. I took a little sleep of the coffee and it tasted just a slight sweetness, and I was thinking it's probably coming from the oatmilk. I had my brother tasted since he always drinks, black coffee and he said he's not sure but it tastes a little sweet. When I look at the counter where they make the coffee, I saw that the cashier, Nicole Briones, was talking to The employee who made my coffee they were looking at me. I knew then that they made a mistake. After a few sips, I got up and walked up to your Barista and told her that they didn't do as I say on how I want my coffee. Your barista said she'll just make a fresh cup, which goes to say that she knew she made a mistake. I am angry right now because my blood test tomorrow will greatly impacted by your employee's mistake & dishonesty.

This really has been my go to study place on Tomas Morato. What I usually order are 2 j.co clubs (45P each). The katsu is really good. I've tried all 3 and like them all. For a drink i get the iced mocha it's too sweet for me so I moved on to getting iced Thai tea. It's great! Prices for drinks are really good and affordable. Definitely been on a budget since going out to study can be expensive...especially if you stress eat. I always see people order their Yogurt with toppings so I had to try it for myself. It's so refreshing! I love it with strawberries but sometimes run out so I have it with the strawberry jam. But when they put it in the cup they leave an empty space in the middle so it's kinda said when you go in for a bit but you see air...gets? Haha. They could improve on that. If you need the wifi just ask for the password. They also have outlets to charge your things. It hasn't been hard to find a place to sit here. It is two floors with lots of seating inside and outside. Also, people usually go in and out to just buy donuts. They have everything you need to study long hours. Their CR is out of order right now but when it was working it was clean. Ah love this place. I get so much done!
