This is an okay place to get your car washed if it is not new and is just your beater. You will get swirl marks and there is an increased possibility for scratches. My recommendation would be to go to a coin op car wash (nearby) or a touch less gas station wash (there are a couple in Pasadena, Monrovia, and El Monte) Again, do not bring your car here if you care about your paint. fair warning!! read more

We were in the AREA and wanted to get a drive thru type of CAR WASH so we went on YELP and MISTER CAR WASH appeared... FIRST OF ALL: I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. YES the place here's busy and there's a long line. But they have 3 LANES!!! 3 LANES: 1 line is for non members and the other 2 lines are for members. QUALITY: The organization of the line got better in my opinion... TIME OF ARRIVAL: Sunday afternoon. We were car number 6 in line. I was pretty happy about that. Then, I saw a nice and hardworking lady carrying a tablet and going to ASI the cars in line. It felt like the SAME organization system used at IN 'N OUT BURGER! That was pretty cool!!! It made the line go a bit faster. We waited for about 20 minutes... VALUE: It's pretty pricey $16 for a base wash. But, I like the machine and it really CLEANS well in my opinion for a small SUV. However, I do see a lot of BIG TRUCKS in line so I think I can only speak for mid size and compact cars... Once you get to the front there's another hardworking MISTER that tells you which car you WILL go after... However, there were no empty shots for DRYING or VACUUMING :( wah wah wah... (sad cello music)... VERY ORGANIZED MISTER CAR WASH!!!!!! read more

Unfortunately this is the only express type of drive thru car wash in this area, so it's constantly busy, with lines into the street. It's expensive and the property doesn't fix anything. I go at 7:30 PM, they close at 8 PM, and of course there is a line into the street. I purchased the $16 wash with the wheel cleaner because my car really needed it. The cheapest wash is $12, basic. So I go through and when I finally get a stall, the vacuum is broken on the drivers side (picture attached) and the passenger side barely works. Every time I go, out of desperation due to no other express car wash in this area, it's a disappointment. For as much as they charge, the equipment should ALWAYS be in working condition, but unfortunately that's never the case. I would not recommend this location at all. read more

A good drive thru car wash, that gave my car a clean exterior wash. Drive thrus don't wash perfectly, but Mister car wash in Alhambra does a close enough job. However, be prepared to wait in a long line that may go into the street. I waited 30 minutes before making into the wash. So I suggest going when you are not in a rush or during early/later hours. They have drying areas and vacuums to use free of charge. I got the $12 basic exterior one time wash, but they have other washes and yearly packages that include more. You can purchase your wash ahead of time at their website, which sends you a QR code that the attendant can scan when you arrive. read more

I have been coming here since the original car wash opened. Lucky that I purchased the monthly car wash since then. It's so expensive now. I loved the car wash. It changed since they initially opened. They have a LOT more blowers on the way out. I think it's to help with the drying line outside. It's so sad that the carpet washing machine is gone now. It was such a great addition. Now they are like every other place. It seems like they are not into up-keeping the facility. One of the 2 towel wringers has been broken for a year or so. It's not fixed still. So everyone uses the only one that works. Now the one that works has a broken handle. Giving it a 4 as I am not paying the current price. read more

Really nice staff folks (shout out to Yaida who was super patient with my questions all while dog was barking) and great prices! I spend about $15 with hard labor at a creepy stall when I wash my car so this was a cool upgrade-- and all under 5 mins for a $10 more.. I think it's super worth it. I signed up for a membership that I only wanted for a month while I was in Moses Lake, Washington. I forgot to cancel it so I paid for another month. I didn't want to go through the hassle of creating an account, so I emailed help to cancel my membership and told them if it charges my account again, I want an immediate refund. They responded with "We're on it!" The account was charged a 3rd time, so I emailed them asking to make sure my account was canceled and to give me my refund. The response was cold and they said "You have to cancel 7 days before the end of a months' term and so no refund will be issued." This was over a $40 monthly car wash subscription. Had I been given a refund I would have been satisfied and returned as a customer in the future with a high likelihood. I will not be supporting companies that don't care about their customers as prior to charging our accounts we demand it be canceled and not charged. When people do these things whether it's Netflix or an app or any subscription, it's almost always (except for in Mister Carwash's case) an immediate cancellation and no further charges. This company does not care and deserves a 1 star rating for that reason. If I could rank it lower, I would. I also never go on Yelp to give a negative review unless it's something this blatant. Shame on mister carwash, I will be looking for more ways to let people know about your terrible customer service. read more

My daughter loves drive-thru car washes and this one is her favorite with all the lights and colors! They need to make all lanes accessible to all cars, especially when they are super busy. There's 3 lanes at this location. Only one lane says enter, the other 2 say Unlimited member. So if you don't have a membership, and you get in one of those lanes one of the attendants will tell you you're not allowed in that lane, even though they're empty and the 1 non-member lane is full and they are completely backed up. A lot of people, cars, also cut the line cause they don't want to wait. No one allowed to monitor near the street as it's a liability For the most part, the young kids working here are friendly. read more

The cost for a basic wash is $12 now. It was $10 the last time I visited SGV for X-mas last December, and it was $8 previously. Seems like the pattern is a $2 increase at a time. Oh well, it is still cheaper than a basic wash @ a full service car wash. (I visited this location May 2025). This location is located directly off of Valley Blvd, and it's easy to drive past it, even when using a GPS. I was shocked when I arrived and saw a long line of cars. It was packed. There were three aisles for cars to pull into. All three aisles were filled with cars waiting to get washed. I waited in the Unlimited Member line, and a guy walked by with a tablet and scanned my barcode and the barcode of the car behind me, I guess to verify our memberships were active. I guess they have to do that since the clearance bar was already raised. They probably don't use their overhead membership scanner when they have lots of demand. It was a lot. On another note, the attendants were directing traffic ensuring that cars were safely within parameters for the cash wash and ensuring cars could find a parking spot upon exiting the car wash. I was really surprised and impressed with the mat wash machine. The Mister Car Wash nearest me doesn't have a mat wash machine so it was new. I was like a little kid exploring it and happy to see how clean it could get my mats. I think it made a difference but I didn't see some of the deeper stains on my mats removed. Overall, I still recommend Mister Car Wash. They're very popular in California, not sure if they're available within other regions or states. As an unlimited member, I believe the value is amazing. Paying by the wash, not so much. read more

Boy oh boy! I'm shocked by all the bad reviews. I've been coming here for about a year now. This place is literally like the Chick-Filet of carwashes. Customer service is superb! - Everyone I've interacted with is always professional. - Employees seem focused and manage everything superbly, even on busy days. - I never see anyone slacking and they seem to have a very well oiled machine of staff here. - When there's a line on busy days, their team is out there organizing the line to make sure it moves. I'd actually prefer coming here instead of a regular carwash where you turn your keys over to someone. I feel like I get to take pride in my car here. Then, I recently learned they have the mat cleaner machine. But it's only on the side that's facing the drive thru. So I think it's still there.. Also just learned they have the mini air blower to blowout dust and debris. It's worth every penny to me. Plus, my dog loves the drive-thru read more

Okay I've been trying to come to this place for ages but every time I drive over the line is so long it's literally backed out several cars into the street. I finally came here later at night (about half an hour before closing) and there was no line. I'll start with the bad: - gets packed during the day. If you have to come during the day expect a long wait and possibly difficulty getting a vacuum bay afterward. - The wash was mediocre. For a drive through wash I don't expect it to be perfect, I've had worse but I've also had better. The good: - the vaccuums are great! The bays are large and theres a vacuum on either side of each bay, making it easy to clean both sides of your car. Theres also a trash can at each bay. The vaccuums have great suction with long hoses and are the biggest reason I think this place deserves 4 stars rather than 3. - price: I got the basic wash and forgot how much I paid but it was a decent price for a wash + vaccuums. read more

The service here is really inconsistent. I went in today for a car wash, and all three lanes were full. Usually, there is someone at the front directing traffic, but for the most part, it's pretty self-explanatory when it's your turn to move forward. There are three lanes that merge into one for the car wash entrance. The order of the cars was going from the 1st lane, then the 2nd, then the 3rd. I waited my turn, but a car from the middle lane skipped the order and went ahead of the first lane. I was trying to be considerate, so I let the car from the first lane go ahead since I had seen that the other car had cut the line. I made room for that car and slowly started inching forward. At that point, a worker finally came over to direct traffic and told another car from the middle lane to go ahead of me. I rolled down my window and explained that a car from the middle lane had already cut the queue, which was why I had let the first-lane car go ahead. She apologized but still told me the middle lane needed to go after the first lane because she was trying to get the cars back in order. I understand wanting to keep the lanes organized, but it was frustrating that I was the one who got pushed back after already waiting my turn and trying to be considerate. If keeping the cars in a specific order is important when it gets busy, there should be an attendant directing traffic consistently rather than letting customers figure it out themselves and then changing the order once an employee steps in. The employee did apologize, but the situation still felt unfair and could have easily been avoided with better traffic direction from the beginning. For the most part, the other employees have been fine, but this isn't the first time I've had an experience like this at this car wash. The only reason that I continue coming here is because it's the closest car wash to me and the monthly membership is convenient. read more

I showed up at 5pm on a Sunday to wash my car. $16 for a base plus wash. I wash my car pretty regularly, but it didn't take the spots off my car from birds and stuff. I found a parking spot and started wiping them off. I was there for almost 10 minutes before the employee walked up and said that they were too busy to have me clean it thoroughly. That was not thorough at all. Not at all! I didn't even get to vacuum my car. Complete waste of money. I don't recommend. They used to be pretty chill before. I can't go back though. I like to wash my car at the car wash. I spent money for no reason. Can't recommend. read more

Place can be very busy though out the day. I've been coming here for a couple months now since I had the monthly pass which is not badly priced in my opinion. Also people will just wait and block the exit of the car wash looking for an open vacuum spot causing you just to sit there unable to leave. As far as the car wash, if you have an SUV it will never be clean or dry at the back unfortunately or at least mine never does. read more

12/2024 Update: Still a 3.5/5. They did increase their basic price wash by $2. It used to be $8 but now it is $10. I'm assuming the other wash tiers also increased by price accordingly. I came around 8:20 AM this time and there was only one other person in line. When I left around 8:45 AM, the lines were already forming. I would recommend getting there before 8:30 AM if you don't want to wait. The service was good and quick. I went right through to the wash. You can see my previous review for the wash quality. One big difference between last time and this time was that I was able to get a vacuum spot. A majority of the spots were taken but there were maybe about 3-4 spots when I finished my wash. When you pull into the parking spot, there are vacuums located in both sides of your cae. There is also a mini air pressure spray to help get the water out of the crevices or dust from your car. The vacuums are very strong and have an extension that easily gets into the sides and tight spaces of your car. These vacuums were definitely useful. One thing I noticed after pulling into the vacuum area was that other people brought their own towels to wipe off any remaining water stains. That's a good idea for next time. Overall, sad that the price slightly increased but it is what it is for a basic wash. read more

I noticed this car wash when it opened a year ago but never cared for it until this hot summer day, I was too lazy to wash my own car. You can buy a single wash based on tiers or an unlimited membership wash, also based on tiers. I went with the middle tier single wash to see how well the wash is before committing to a membership. To my surprise it was a decent wash for the price paid and speed of service, definitely worth the price if in a hurry or just want a quick clean. Staff was friendly and answered some of my questions with a smile. I see a lot of people in the reviews complaining about pricing, this sort of business is not cheap to run and expecting to pay next to nothing for a car wash, you need a reality check. Yes it will price out certain people, but will bring in those who don't mind for services being rendered. Those complaining that it does not clean their cars right, sounds like you need a coating applied to your vehicles paint. I can't speak on the vacuum area as I do that at home but there was plenty of stalls to use. My car is ceramic coated and the wash left my car looking like new again. I will be back, thanks Mister Car Wash! read more

Swirls on swirls on the new cars lmfao but hey it's a quick wash. It does get packed here and you do have drivers trying to just get ahead of you. One thing I don't like is we all pay different prices, for example regular wash or premium. I pay for the premium but always wondered if I'm even getting what I'm paying for. You have three lanes and if you get here first and say go to the far right lane and some one drives to the first two lanes, they will have them go first the. You last, that's if they have some one guiding the cars. Either way you paying for a wash you're not getting. I saw don't pay for premium and get the minimum one read more

Warning this place does get packed with the car queue spilling out on Valley Blvd. Do not go if you're in a hurry! I happened to drive by doing errands and saw there was no line on a Wednesday 4pm; so I drove over and queued up for my car was ready for a good scrubbing. This car wash is run automatically with the usual jet streams of water and roller brushes. With bird poo crusted on my windows and a spider nest setup on one of my rear lights, I was curious if this place's machines could blast them away. And for sure enough, it actually did! Moreover, I was super impressed that the vacuum stations are wide and there are two vacuums for each slot, no more wrestling with the vacuum hose to get it to reach the other side over here. Another cool thing I found about this place is their floor mat cleaner. I had never used one before so I decided to treat my mats with some better love than the usual treatment I do to it (vacuuming the life out of it) . I couldn't tell if it cleaned it well because I had already vacuum my floor mats and rid of some my dog's hair. The vacuum power here great. Very strong suction, much stronger than the Arcadia Car wash on Santa Anita. I could see the dog hairs from my carpet being sucked away, so I appreciate the equipment they have here. Tl;dr - pricing is standard $10 for basic wash. $15 for basic plus tires. $25 for monthly membership. I think it's $43 for the premium wash. Go here if you want a good vacuuming time. Wash was pretty good too, it took away most of the offensive bird poop on my car. But don't go here if you're short on time. read more

Apparently, Cruizers Express Car Wash was bought out by a publicly traded company Mister Car Wash (NYSE: MCW). I was shocked to find out the change because, I did liked Cruizers Express, it was relatively quick, more affordable, and dispenses an extra amount of soap during the washing process. Well, we usually like these automated car washes for the free vacuums. Cruizers were very strong in its suction while Mister Car Wash seems a bit downgraded. Cruizers had the basic $7 car wash and now with Mister's, they raised it up to $8 for the basic tier wash. $1 more, fine no biggie but I would at least expect more outta that dollar. Instead, come to find out this place isn't operated well. Mister Car Wash here in Alhambra is always packed. Forget about the weekends, there's a line that stretches to Valley Blvd. It sucks because, motorists will be waiting in line for vacuuming. The operations are run poorly here and there's always a huge bottleneck at the payment gate. I think they should just let all the lanes open for members and regular customers like how Cruizers once did it. Some of the microfiber flaps are dirty and I'm not quite sure if they even change them or at least degrease them. Overall: I wouldn't pay extra for the other tiers, I think the base $8 will do but, definitely a huge downgrade from the amount of soap and customer service. I rate this 2/5 stars because of the value proposition. $8 basic wash with free vacuum is still great but, just knowing it was once better and cheaper really sucks. Also, Mister does offer the air compressor spray when I think Cruizers didn't offer it. You also must have a lot of patience as it takes an average about 35 minutes or more from entering in line and finishing the Wash cycle. Another queue for vacuums. read more

What a great inexpensive car wash spot! Came here for a one time deal for $28 platinum and the service and short interaction I had with Yaida (sorry for the misspell) who explained the works/price was pretty awesome! The person who guided people to have their car in place had cool attitude too. The car wash took like less than 5 mins and car looked great! There were some dust spots that I needed to re-wipe and do some hard rub down.. but for a zippy run, not bad. I usually spend $15+ to do my own scrubbing and vacuum at a creepy stall so this was kinda cool upgrade. The membership fee is honestly not bad if you want to look more civilized in LA. read more

I agree with most of the Yelp reviews here--this car wash was underwhelming. My car wasn't that dirty to begin with, but it still came out with dirt spots. For $20, it felt more like a basic rinse than a proper car wash. That said, finding a decent car wash for $20 these days is nearly impossible. I'm giving it 1 star for the water and 1 star for the self-vacuuming stations. Would I come back? Probably, but only because of the price. I just hope they improve their rinsing process to deliver a more thorough clean. read more
