No continuity, no one seemed to care about anything. They were never there when we needed them.

Transitioning a loved one to assisted living is one of the most emotionally difficult things to ever have to experience. My father reached a point in life where he could no longer care for his needs on his own. This amazing staff and beautiful facility brought him back to life, gave him independence, purpose and a wonderful, welcoming community in which to thrive. From the restaurant that serves wholesome home cooked meals, to the on-site movie theater, to the countless weekly excursions to local venues, all wrapped up in apartment style living on an immaculate campus, he has become more than a resident. He has become part of a community of people who are enjoying every moment of their twilight. The staff at the Ivy through their incredible caregiving and personal involvement have become family, not just to my father, but to myself and wife as well. Every request or call for assurance has been met with a personal compassion and caring that is unmatched, but most appreciated. We give the Ivy at Murrieta our highest recommendation.

The woman that Gabby sent to care for my 90-year-old father was off her rocker and had to be removed from my parent's home. Gabby was as shocked as I was because she had used her for other assignments and had never gotten any complaints. Also the woman apparently had good reviews online and had a lot of hospital experience. But bad people can slip through the cracks in any business, especially when they're being hired on a contract-type basis. My caution to anyone using any agency or hiring a private caregiver is to do your due diligence. Do not hire an agency and walk away feeling secure that your loved ones will be well taken care of. Had I not been watching on the camera to make sure that my parents were safe, they would have been traumatized by this woman being in their home all night. Even after getting her to leave, my mom who has Alzheimer's, was terrified that she would be coming back despite me ensuring her that she wasn't. Anyone who is doing long distance care of loved ones living at home, I recommend if you don't have them already, get cameras installed and diligently watch them, especially when a new person comes to the home whether they're from a private hire or an agency. This will ensure that your loved ones are safe and well taken care of.

Deciding to get a caregiver for an aging parent can be a stressful experience. I found myself in…read morethis predicament when my mother was being discharged from skilled nursing. I had no idea where to start. After being given a few options from various people I began making calls. As soon as I had Gabriela on the phone I felt immediately at ease. She went to visit my mom in skilled nursing so she would be able to find a caregiver that matched my mom's personality and boy did she knock it out of the park. The caregiver she assigned to my mom was kind, communicative, patient, reliable, and the list goes on. I was thrilled, but more importantly my mom was over the moon. When our caregiver was unable to make her shift due to illness, Gabriela texted me right away and was prepared to find a back up. Gabriela herself even offered to run an errand for my mom on the day that this happened. I cannot recommend Constant Companions Home Care enough! We had.a very positive experience and if I ever find myself in need of a caregiver again, I know who I am calling.

Beware of Greenfield Home Care, it is not a legitimate business! Investigate this fake "business"…read morefor yourself before putting loved ones at risk of being taken advantage of! This review is to report fraudulent activity committed against my family members by Raul Lubigan, owner of Greenfield Home Care, who is apparently running a homecare service under the guise of being a legitimate business, but in reality has no Business license and no tax ID number whatsoever! Raul Lubigan was providing care giving services to my mother-in-law, who passed away in 2022 under the false pretense of operating a legitimate home care business. Raul was paid for his services, but when his invoices were turned in to the long term care insurance for reimbursement, the insurance would not reimburse the money, because Raul Lubigan did not own a legitimate business. Raul Lubigan received approximately $22,725.00 in payments, of which we have not received any reimbursement, because he does not have a legitimate business and he will not return our family's phone calls in order to resolve this issue. This is nothing less than a fraudulent scam, perpetrated on an elderly woman and her family members by a fraudulent, deceptive person, who we found out, hires undocumented workers who do not have Social Security Account Numbers. I have reported this fraudulent business to the Home Care Services Bureau, and they are currently in the process of investigating this individual right now. I believe this scam also involves state and federal income tax evasion on the part of Raul Lubigan and his employees, in which I am presently contacting the Internal Revenue Service and the California Franchise Tax Board to report them. I also intend to file a lawsuit against Raul Lubigan to recover monetary damages caused by him to my family. My friends, please ensure this type of predator does not continue committing the same unethical offense, taking advantage of your unsuspecting helpless elderly loved ones. Thoroughly investigate this character before putting your loved ones at risk! Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing!!!

My wife had a medical situation that landed her in a wheelchair with less than encouraging outcomes. I was told to look into long term institutional care. I visited 2 properties and promised my wife she would not be left to vegetate in one of those places. We were blessed with the good fortune of being referred to Visiting Nurses Association of Murrieta. From the very first call and follow-up visit we were treated with compassion and kindness. Each professional was encouraging and always concerned about Carol's well being. I want to give special kudos to Lisa Whitton, the Physical Therapy Assistant, who's skill and persistence got my wife out of the wheelchair and on her feet. We still have a ways to go, but we are both excited about her progress and anxious to continue building strength and balance. We highly recommend VNA and will give rave reviews to our doctor's office and especially AARP. Thank you VNA and Lisa.
