Literally the best service! Due to poor planning I didn't have a bridesmaid dress with me during my trip, I called and drove to various towns nearby and was referred to Miss Ruby. Inside an older building and in a historic part of Milwaukee the outer ambiance and presence is rustic but refined. The staff was AMAZING and helped me find ways to style my dress so I could feel comfortable. They communicated and went above and beyond in helping me find a dress for a wedding in under 24 hours. Literally cannot thank them enough!

Wasn't sure what to think about this place but I heard it had great reviews. Finding it was quite interesting with street parking, walking through an alleyway past about two buildings and had to keep looking at signs to find my way. Once we entered into a beautiful boutique atmosphere, we were greeted with a friendly smile and had our own consultant in our own spacious section. We had plenty of time to pick out several selections. All in all it took about 2 1/2 hours which went pretty fast. Loved how there were so many customizing options of blending designers! I feel confident that Miss Ruby's will continue to take care of all bridal needs

Even though this was my very first bridal appointment and I wasn't ready to say yes just yet, I could not stop thinking about one of the dresses I tried on here. I went to a second appointment at a different boutique afterward and had a terrible experience. None of the dresses compared to the one I tried on at White Dress, and it really highlighted how special my experience here was. The entire staff was so kind and genuinely made me feel celebrated. They even gave me a bride bag with several thoughtful items at the start of my appointment, which was such a nice touch. I've already made another appointment to go back and hopefully say yes to the dress I loved. I had a terrible experience here that required me to find a new wedding dress within three weeks of…read moremy wedding. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I went into White Off the Rack with photos of a dress that I fell in love with at another store. They said they could order me a new dress in that style and I said yes. When the dress arrived and I went to try it on and pick it up, it was HUGE. I could take handfuls of lace on the sides that would need to be removed. I expressed concern to the stylist about how large it was and she said "alterations can work wonders and will be able to fix it." I trusted her and took the dress home. I went to alterations and spent $1,000 on just alterations trying to get it to fit. At the end of all of this, the integrity of the dress was ruined because alterations couldn't get it to the correct size. I ended up going to the original store that I found my dress at and they sold me a sample so I would have something to wear on my wedding day. I wrote to White Off The Rack and described my horrible scenario that I went through at the store. The owner called me and said "I wish you would have said something before alterations because we could have taken the dress back." I did say when I picked up the dress that I was not happy and it was huge. They said to get alterations done anyways! Honestly I feel like I was duped. I spend $3,000 total on this dress that I can't wear and the only thing that the owner suggested is that I try to resell it. I told them that I was not happy with the fit and they told me to get alterations done. Once alterations are done they can't take it back. I do not recommend this store to anyone. I spend $2,000 on the gown and $1,000 on alterations and they are not compensating me at all. They should have agreed that the size was too big when I did my try on and not told me to get alterations. I feel that was their way out so they could wash their hands of me and say I altered the dress so they can't take it back.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!Do not shop here under any circumstances for a wedding or formal dress!!…read more With alterations, I spent $6000 to live my worst nightmare and have a new dress that was in abysmal condition less than a week before my wedding. On top of that, at every turn the owner tried to blame me and refused to take accountability and stand behind her product. Please go anywhere else to get your dress!!! When I found my dress and was ready to order, the owner refused to measure me citing that the sample was my size. Prior to ordering, I was assured that the dress could be taken in. It was gapping about 2 -3 inches everywhere and didn't touch my ribcage/chest. I was sure to vocalize this to the owner. Alterations: The dress arrived in good condition from the designer and fit too big (exactly as expected). I decided to get alterations done at the bridal shop. Lucy, the in-house seamstress, started pinning my silk dress aggressively without taking a moment to talk through my concerns or ask what I wanted. Later, several other seamstresses for my bridal party (not affiliated with Gigi) were horrified that she pinned such a delicate fabric like this. After she put about 15 pins in the top, she then stated that they couldn't take it in and it was going to make the fabric lay weird with a lot of wrinkles. I was extremely disappointed given that it was the one thing I asked before ordering. I expressed this and was dismissed by the owner. After some debate, I was told that they would at least take in the waist and try to keep the neckline from gaping. The neckline stitch did nothing and the thread color didn't even match my dress. Taking in the waist helped with fit a bit, but the top remained big and never fit/never touched my chest or ribcage. The Next fitting appointment, I noticed everywhere the seamstress had pinned there was a run in the silk fabric. I mentioned this and was told by the staff that there was nothing they can do. During this appointment 6+ runs were found. They then proceeded to try and blame it on me, citing I must have been wearing a bracelet and didn't take any accountability. I only had a pair of pearl earrings on for the appointment. I left the store crying, so disappointed that my dress had now been ruined. I called later that week and instead of fixing anything, the shop owner and seamstress refused to take any accountability and tried to complement me, citing that they can cut the snags down and that's all they can do. It was less than a month before my wedding. At my last fitting I had come to terms with the snags and just wanted the hem done and the dress to be in one piece. The hem was not completed and wouldn't be ready until the end of the day. We were also told that once the dress was steamed we would not be allowed to see the dress outside of the garment bag. Once I was home, against the owners wishes I took the dress out of the garment bag to look everything over and was immediately horrified. During the hem and steaming process the dress became riddled with 4+ black stains!!! My worst fear was realized with my wedding less than a week!! I called the shop immediately that night and left a voicemail on 4:49 PM CST. I also emailed for itemized breaks down of the $700 dollar alterations the next day. The shop was closed on Sunday and Monday and the owner left me a voicemail on Tuesday (the week of my wedding) saying she was disturbed the dress was stained. I returned her call later that day with my father. She immediately tried to say that they were not responsible for the stain and had no way of getting it out. She refused to take any accountability citing that she couldn't do anything. I asked for some sort of compensation on the alterations for ruining my dress and she refused. She tried to say the snags and stains were my fault and actually hung up the phone. I emailed her pictures and she lied about me calling her that Saturday and leaving a voicemail trying to say I didn't reach out until Tuesday. I have the call log and voicemail from the owner that show otherwise.
