She made me and my group feel bad for having other appointments for the day and tried to push me to buy a dress there and cancel the other appointments. If I would have have a better experience with this stylist, I would have come back to purchase my dress at this location after visiting the other locations. I came here as a first and last stop to find my dress, purely out of availability and location. It's not the fanciest inside, but they have the couches for your guests, platforms to stand on, and multi-angle mirrors to feel your most bridal during a wedding dress fashion show. I found that they had a very large selection, including a whole room where you can shop off the rack. I was luckily the last appointment of the day for the girl helping me, so she did not make me feel rushed at all. We spent hours pulling dresses, putting them on, showing them off, narrowing them down to the top picks, and getting back in those again multiple times before making a final decision. There were so many I could have seen myself get married in, which I think is a good problem to have. She did a good job of listening, helping me get in and out of the dresses, and knowing when to pop that veil on to get the full bridal look before saying "yes to the dress." read more

I went on my first dress hunt last Friday. Carrie was the one helping me and she exceeded my expectations! In fact she was the one who found my dress. I tried on about 12ish dresses and the last walk through she did for me was the best moment for me. She made me feel completely comfortable, she helped my pick different cuts/styles to see what I liked. 34 years ago was the last time I was at this place on Mitchell Street. So happy to see they have weathered the test of time. Surprised to see everything was an ivory and not one dress was shown white! They recommend taking 8 a dresses is to Try on. The appointment was for an hour and a half. A lot has changed with bridal shopping. Of course there's always the incentive like a car, by today and here's the specials you get: $100 cash LOL which I just gave back to them towards the dress, 30% off the veil which was over $300, and $50 off alterations which can easily be $500 another. All in all it was a great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful and positive and help make it fun and special as it should be. I thought the selection was a little small as there were three rows of dresses which is why I took off a star. Other than that, it's quite spacious, comfortable and accommodating! We have an appointment at Kleinfields in New York, but we are canceling as she said "yes to the dress"and I made an awesome purchase for my daughter's wedding day! read more

I'm so disappointed in the service we received at this location. We went to this store after visiting their sister store in Brookfield and tried dresses on there. The location in Brookfield recommended that we come to Oak Creek for more options. We came in and told the consultant what she was looking for and was immediately told it would be difficult to find strapless and simplistic dresses. The consultant that we worked with made the bride feel guilty for liking a specific dress. She was so rude to our bride and made us feel that we were a waste of her time for being there. I bought my dress here in 2020 off the rack, thinking I was getting a good discount. In reality, I should have just paid the additional $200 to get the dress in my size. However, I was persuaded to buy the dress off the rack because the attendant reassured me that the dress could be altered to fit me (it's about 1.5 sizes too big). However, after talking to several seamstresses, the dress I purchased is unable to be altered because the dress does not have a seam. So, I was lied to. Before buying anything, make sure it's the dress you love, it fits, and it can be altered if needed. read more

Went in today on a random spur of the moment trip, was greeted right away by Chris and started to look around. They had a sale where all dresses were $700 and they were all in a room, large selection of different styles and sizes. I was able to pick out a pretty large amount of dresses to try on. Then the fun started, tried on all the dresses, and when it came down to the final 4, she had me walk out to the main room and see them in all their beautiful glory in the natural light. When it came down to picking "the one" she put the top one on the side, then I tried on the other high rated ones and had to pick one over the other. At the end I tried on the winner and it was love at first sight all over again. I totally enjoyed my mother of the bride try on and happy with my purchase, I'd give it a 4. BUT, and this is a HUGE BUT, the follow up customer service is a 0, and absolutely knocks my rating down to 1. If I could give it less I would because I'm that NOT OKAY with the situation. For some reason, bridal shops are still in the mask mandate enforcement, nail salons don't even enforce it anymore! That is okay, I get it, I'm not hear to bash mask mandates and certainly not questioning health safety. But because of their restrictions they have put in place, there are some very inconvenient things that happened. 1.....if you pay by credit card, you need to leave your purchase there for 3 days. That has nothing to due with covid, that is just a really dumb thing this bridal shop requires. It doesn't matter you live 40 mins away, you still need to invest another 80 min drive, to come and get what you paid for....even though it was a no return, all sales final purchase. That right there is inconvenient. But okay, I KIND OF get it, it definitely annoyed me, but I let it slide. I asked at the time of purchase if my daughter could pick it up because sometimes she drives out that way, I was told yes she could and they put a note on the dress. Annoyance satisfied. Well.....I called the shop because about 3-4 weeks had passed since the purchase and neither myself or my daughter had taken the time to go get it yet. So I called to let them know I would be coming to get it soon and to make sure they still were holding my purchase for me. It was still there, great! I then found out on this call that my daughter picking it up wasn't even an option....wait, why was I told that would be an option when I bought it? Not only that, but an appointment was REQUIRED for me to pick it up. I was like making an appt is very difficult for me, I am not sure when I can make it in. Here's actually were the crazy starts.....on the weekends for the next 3 weeks (3 weeks is all the time I had left before needing it in hand), the only time slot that I could get it was Sundays at 2:45 or 3:45, I don't remember the exact time. THEY WOULDN'T ALLOW A WALK IN TO PICK UP AN ALL SALES FINAL PURCHASE? WHAT????? Covid and employees being busy with other guests is the reasoning I was given. I don't even want to go into all the situations we all have on a daily basis we are around more than 4-5 people at a time? I work Sundays, and don't get my schedule until the Monday preceding that particular Sunday, so I could not commit to this time slot and I'm not taking a day off just to run an errand. I have a full time job, a part time business AND work at a restaurant. I'm not lazy, I'm busy. Weeknights are also questionable when I will be free. However they INSISTED I must try it on and I must make an appointment to do so (even though no alterations were required and not something I, THE ALREADY PAID CUSTOMER, asked for). There was LITERALLY not a "just come and pick it up" option offered to me, even after 5 minutes of me pleading "please let me take this 80 mins out of my day to come and pick up a dress I've already paid for" because of your stupid 3 day credit card wait policy (I didn't say that stupid 3 day wait policy out loud but I was definitely thinking it) ....REALLY??. This is a $200 something dress, we are talking about, not thousands of dollars here. So then I ask, can you ship it to me? They said yes, we can do that! I said, so the insistence on me trying it on is no longer required? Paying another $25 plus tax in shipping wipes out that requirement? I was told, well we've come an to an alternate route here, that's different now, you don't need to try it on now. ??????????? UNBELIEVABLE!!!! On behalf of my fiancé: PLEASE STOP AND READ THIS BEFORE THINKING ABOUT COMING HERE. I can't give them zero stars because it won't let me. I cannot begin to tell you how frustrated and upset I am with this business. I'm coming up on a month before my wedding, the happiest day of my life, and Eva's Bridal Center has turned this into a nightmare. I first visited the shop in December 2021 and tried on 2 dresses I thought were the best of the lot. I liked both equally and couldn't decide on which one. Being the nervous bride-to-be I was, I chose one of the dresses and paid for it on the spot. On my drive home I had a moment of clarity and decided I would call back to see if they would cancel the order and change it to my second option instead. Although they have an "all sales are final" policy they didn't object because the second dress was more expensive. I should've started seeing the red flags from that point. When they called me in to tell me the dress was ready I saw a stain on it. First they told me they were going to see what they could do to fix or address the issue. I was shaking, I had paid full price for a new wedding dress that was now damaged and they didn't know if anything was going to happen. I want home teary eyed that day praying that something would be done about my dress. The next day I received a call from an employee saying that she was calling on behalf of the owner. She told me that there was nothing they could do for the dress. She also suggested I go back for it and take it elsewhere to fix it because "all sales are final". My jaw hit the ground, I didn't want to believe this was their response. I told her I wanted to speak with the owner and she blew me off saying she didn't know when the owner would be in but that regardless there was nothing they could do. I started getting upset and demanded they get n contact with a manager or the owner. The employee said she would pass my message to her manager. The manager called me the next day only to repeat what the first employee had already told me. She said it was my fault for not inspecting the dress thoroughly and i was on my own for having left the store with it "regardless of how long or short I stepped outside". She claimed that once I signed out the dress they were not responsible for anything. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, you mean to tell me that you are willing to go back on your "all sales are final policy" only if it means increasing the dollar amount of the sale but you're going to enforce it when it convenient for you. The employees showed no empathy for what they had done to me and still refused to let me speak with the owner to this day. They expected me to pay full price for a damaged wedding dress and then hope that I kept silent about the matter. I don't think what they are doing is fair and I pray that they aren't taking advantage of me because of my race. This should have been one of the best days of my life and Eva's Bridal is ruining it for me. read more

I just want to start off by saying my experience with this bridal shop was exceptional from the second I decided to book my appointment with them. I was coming in from out of state to look at dresses, and was able to book an appointment online with ease. Within a half hour I received a confirmation and email from Eva's. I got the HONOR of getting to work with their bridal consultant Carrie and she was the absolute best. She answered all of my questions and called to confirm my appointment as well. She was just as enthusiastic as I was for the day. As soon as I walked in, I was comfortable, heard and encouraged to have fun. They definitely take pride in their gowns, as they should honestly, but I never felt pressured to try a dress or to fake my opinion about it. Carrie made me feel beautiful and made the entire process of trying on gowns special and fun. She is also very efficient in getting you in and out of dresses which I found to be very impressive! Seconds. Literally seconds and you could be out of your first dress and into your second! Carrie handles each dress with care and helps you through the process and even gave pointers to me about dressing, altering, and accessorizing my gown. I never felt rushed and was able to walk out onto their runway, use their full length mirrors and see every aspect of each gown. Once I found my dress I tried on a couple veils and that made me feel like a bride and made me excited to say yes to my dress. She was great about me wanting photos and helped me get everything settled once I found my dress. Carrie made this day something I will never forget and I cannot wait to get my dress for my wedding. This was the first shop I visited on my quest to find a dress. The girl who helped me was nice enough, but pretty disengaged and not terribly helpful. I told her I didn't have a vision for what I wanted but was interested in trying on a few different silhouettes to see what looked best. She pulled a few options, all of them duds, and that was that. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. I was also under the impression that Eva's was the place to go for a great deal, but... not so much. Everything I tried on cost $1,500+ yet somehow, every dress looked and felt cheap (which is strange, because it wasn't hard to find a beautiful and well-made dress under $1,500 at other shops I visited). Eva's won't tell you the designers of the dresses you try on, I guess for fear of customers leaving and finding them at a different shop. Annoying, but if you're resourceful enough, it's not too hard to figure out the designers on your own. There are plenty of other bridal shops around Milwaukee; I'd give those a try before visiting Eva's. read more

On Sunday, I went to Eva's Bridal Center with my cousin. This was her second experience trying on dresses, with the first being at a traditional 'big box' store. While friendly, I was totally disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm by the Consultant during the entire appointment. The Consultant was disorganized in terms of which dresses were "keepers" and which ones didn't work. (She even admitted to this.) She made no effort to help accessorize, unless we requested it. This Consultant cared more about re-hanging up dresses, leaving the bride uncomfortable standing/waiting (wearing next to nothing), before the next dress was even ready to be tried on. Compared to the first round, I was expecting the experience at this boutique shop to blow the other out of the water. It was very disappointing. When the rest of the girls in this family get married, they will not be stopping at Eva's. read more

This was my first experience trying on wedding dresses. My entourage and I arrived about 5 minutes after they opened but since the sign in the window saying "closed" hadn't been flipped, we weren't sure if we could go in. Once in, Renee was assigned to help us and she was very sweet and helpful. No complaints with her service at all. However, I'm a plus size bride - size 18/20 - and the dresses available in my size were lacking. Holding any item of clothing up to you to decide how it will look is not a good tactic, let alone a wedding dress that you'll pay hundreds of dollars for. I managed to try on two or three but didn't love anything. The dressing rooms have mirrors, which is a plus (and not all bridal joints have that), but they don't have real doors - just curtains. And I understand the dresses I tried on were floor samples, but some were in rough shape. And I mean, raggedy. It leads me to wonder about the care that actual wedding dresses (i.e., ones someone ordered) would receive. The prices did seem to be pretty good, though (as noted in another review) since I couldn't tell which dresses I was trying on, I couldn't see what other places charged for the exact same item. And at no time was I asked about my budget. I live out of state, but even if I were local, I wouldn't be making a return trip to Eva's. The atmosphere just doesn't seduce you, and I want seduction when finding my wedding dress (and won't I be paying enough for it?). read more

I'm skeptical about Eva's, for wedding or bridesmaid dresses. When I was looking for my wedding dress, I had a "dream dress" that I had to try on. Eva's didn't have it, but we went there to try on some other dresses, to see if there was anything else I liked. All the dresses are just on racks, and you just take it off the rack and put it on your own rack to try on. They offer assistance if you ask, but they're not very hands-on. I asked for suggestions for dresses for my body type or similar to the one I loved, and they basically just grabbed random dresses and said, "this is pretty." It was odd. They did give me a good price quote for the "dream dress," although they insisted I'd have to pay a rush fee (my wedding is in the end of January, I was dress shopping the first week of June--I know that is cutting it close). In the end, when I found another bridal salon that had my dress, I asked if I'd have to pay a rush fee and they said there was no reason I wouldn't get my dress in more than enough time...fishy. When I called around to bridal salons to figure out where the best place to try on bridesmaid dresses would be, they gave me the same line and told me these would all be subject to a rush fee. This was in the beginning of July, which, again, I know is cutting it close...but every other salon I had called said that it would take only about 3 months to come in. I smell a scam. Nevertheless, my MOH and I went there to see what they had and try on a few dresses, and it was just awkward. The girl just kind of stood there and offered little help or suggestions...just...stood there. If my sister and I were wondering whether to buy from there before, we weren't anymore. In the end, Eva's is alright, they do get you a pretty good deal on some dresses, if they don't subject you to a rush fee. You kind of have to know what you want going into the store, however...don't expect a ton of guidance from them. I've gotten much better service (and often similar prices) from the smaller, more boutique-y bridal salons I've gone to since then. read more

Eva's Bridal has a unique marketing idea. They cut out all of the brand names from their sample dresses so that when you find "the dress" you can't go anywhere else, as you have on idea which designer it is. I worked with Natalie. She seems to be a veteran of the store, and was quite awesome to work with. I fell in love with a Maggie Sottero gown. Eva's is constantly running specials that allow for 20% and whatnot. I later found out that my dress was featured on Say Yes To The Dress AT the 20% off price...meaning they upcharged it to make what I paid for it the same price that it retailed for in New York City. Not cool. When you walk in to try on dresses, they give you a Z-rack and you get to go through all of their dresses to pick out which ones you like. You are then given a consultant that helps you in and out of them. Natalie was great helping me with this, and I came back with friends and family later and finally said yes. I tried on a size 10 in the store. They measured me and because of my hips, I was told to order a size 16. The dress I loved was a lace up back, so I figured even once it came in, they can lace it up and it will fit beautifully (I knew I'd have to get some alterations done). The dress came in, I went with all of my bridesmaids and I was heartbroken. The dress was HUGE on me. I was almost in tears. I knew alterations would fix it, but Natalie was not sympathetic towards me at all. She went and looked up my measurements and proceeded to inform me that "I just looked at your measurements and we didn't do anything wrong...we ordered the correct size." After that tiff, I refused to give her the time of day. She had already closed the sale, and I didn't need anything else from her. The alterations woman, Miri, saved the day and I cannot say enough good things about her. However, that is a separate company from Eva's. It's a beautiful store with quite a lot of selection, but it is quite hard to get in contact with them on the phone, as the number they have listed is an automated line. read more

I was looking for a destination wedding dress and was excited to try the large selection at Eva's (per other reviews). However when I arrived for my scheduled appointment and told staff what I was looking for they glanced at each other with pierced lips, rolled their eyes and I was told maybe they had something in the bridesmaid section. As my friends and I went through the rack of dresses the staff member helping me was on her iPad not paying attention to us at all. Since my 1st review I have returned to Eva's 3 more times. I have purchased 2 more bridesmaids dresses and most recently my wedding gown! Natalie has been so helpful each and every time. I was very overwhelmed when wedding dress shopping and Natalie made sure I tried on every style so I could figure out what I liked. I came in that day thinking I would not be purchasing a dress and boy was I wrong. I was fortunate enough to try on a brand new gown they just put out that day and immediately fell in love. I had a great experience at Eva's. I was not sure that I would find what I was looking for, in that it didn't seem to me like they had a lot of dresses- maybe 35 - 50 or so, and I like dresses that were a little different then some others. However, I found a beautiful dress, and had a great experience with Chris. The only complaint I had is the salon was really busy when we came for our appointment time, and it would have been nice if the staff at the desk was a little more welcoming. Chris asked me about my fiance, and we talked about my wedding and us, which was really cool and how I felt it should be. I didn't know until I went with my girlfriend elsewhere to try on dresses that the sales people don't always do that. I would give Eva's Bridal 0 stars if I could. Went here for a bridesmaid dress and was measured by one of their employees. I along with the other bridesmaids took their dress size suggestions and we all ended up receiving dresses that are so small they won't even zip. The bride and her mother both went to the store to inform them that none of the dresses fit and even brought in another bridesmaid dress the same number size to compare and show them the extreme difference. They refused to offer any sort of discount on alterations due to their error. At the very least they could have offered up and apology. Instead the just said they'd inform the designer that the dresses run small. Now the entire wedding party is having to pay extra money to get their dresses taken out all because Eva's Bridal can't provide the proper measurements for the products they sell. I will never do business with them in the future and I advise others don't either unless you want an expensive dress that doesn't fit. read more
