If I could give 0 stars I would! When I walked into Miss Pole, the receptionist with the pink hair did not make eye contact nor greet me when I came into the door. She was not accommodating when I tried to ask questions and asked about the space and if a tour could be shown. I could immediately tell I was not welcome. And as soon as "Miss Becky" with fairer skin shows up, the rude receptionist's energy completely switched as she pretended to be so pleasant. That was such a bad display of the company and if the company is a reflection of that receptionist's RACIST behavior I will definitely not attend and recommend others to do the same! I live in South Beloit, IL and drive all the way to Madison for Miss Pole. I was worried about atmosphere when I was researching pole dancing lessons and this place is superb. I love that you wear basically yoga attire. The instructors are great at helping if you aren't getting a move. I felt completely comfortable asking for help and I learned a lot. It would be nice to have more mirrors so I could see what I looked like. I didn't think it was possible but I am feeling more confident and sexy. People have noticed and I'm getting asked out a lot more. Plus I can tell I'm toning up more. So happy to have found this place. read more

I'm always up for trying something new and signed up for Pole 1 on a whim with some friends. Boy am I glad that I did - because pole fitness is definitely the most fun work out I think I've ever tried. Pole classes are small and intimate so everyone gets attention from the instructors. Plus, all the girls are here to have fun and tackle the difficult moves pole requires as a team. Love it to keep signing up for more! I starting taking pole classes back in my hometown of Buffalo, NY and was thrilled to see the option in Madison when I moved out 2 years ago! My husband got me a gift certificate for Christmas to take a session and I fell back in love with it. Miss pole offers fun and exciting classes for any skill level. I just finished taking pole 1 with Melanie and had so much fun. I am also gaining some really great upper body strength and confidence. I was looking for an alternative to the gym, and Miss Pole delivers! I definitely feel it in my arms and core muscles for a couple days after each class. The setting is intimate and safe. I feel completely comfortable in the space and the instructors are supportive. Love this studio! I've met all but one instructor and each of them are patient, competent, skilled and HAPPY to be there. I've been in dance classes for 16 years, instructed for 3 and needed an artistic, exercise-type outlet. This is a perfect place for it. It's safe, too. And always a comfortable atmosphere. This class is so fantastic! I've grown so strong in just six hours (1 hour class once a week for six weeks) it's crazy! Way better and motivational then trying to get to the gym!
