They recently updated some of their furnishings and décor and it looks amazing. Great views over the course! I've had my daughters birthday party in the gymnastics area and she loved it! We also come occasionally for open gym to get some energy out and my kids always have a good time! It's a safe and clean environment. Staff are constantly cleaning. They have a great recreational and team program. I tried having my kids try gymnastics locally at several gyms and I wasn't impressed. I noticed they would go up to 16 kids in a class or had instructors that didn't look like they had much training at all. The class sizes are much smaller at Madison Turners . The staff all seem to be very knowledgeable and my children are getting more attention and learning so much more. It's worth the hour drive one way for the quality instruction that my children are receiving!

So immediately the smell of feet and sweat permeate throughout the place. There are chairs upstairs to observe and cubbies to store your belongings. Everything is dated here, the paint needs work, the chairs are stained and a shade or two darker than their original color, the restroom facilities is a joke. The toilet tank lid isn't even the original, and is cut to modify for the fit. There are only 3 stalls and the stalls are tiny with faulty doors. There is a changing area in the bathroom that doubles as storage. I can't imagine anyone renting this place out for a banquet, it's not pretty. That being said, the courts are pretty decent for volleyball with regulation height nets.

Rock climbing is a fantastic way to move your body, use new muscles, and have a ton of fun. When it…read morecomes to indoor climbing in Madison, Boulders Climbing Gym is my absolute favorite! This downtown location is exclusively bouldering (lower climbs without ropes), and it challenges both my mind and body as I figure out how to successfully reach the top! If your new to climbing, ask the front desk about how to get started! The only downside to this gym is that it can be a bit pricey, varying based on what kind of membership you pick. In total though, it tends to be the same as what you might pay for a nice yoga studio. Definitely a lot pricier than, say, Planet Fitness. Lastly, this space is very welcoming! If you are part of the LGBTQ community, they have special Queer Climbing events at the start of each month! These events are discounted and a great way to meet other climbers.

It's very small and smelly because the entire gym is matted and confined, but when there's 20+…read morepeople in it climbing and sweating with their rockclimbing shoes and the place is poorly ventilated and not cooled, it makes sense. Very weird atmosphere...it's more like a social club for college students; most of the climbers just gather around in small groups in front of the routes and talk predominately more than they climb. They mostly just perch down in front of the walls and talk and maybe climb a route once every half-hour. This is a little unfortunate because it's a very small place and they do have places for people to sit and talk and tables outside the area of the climbing, but no one uses them. It would be really nice to sense a change in their business model and see them market to rock climbers and get more energy going in the place with a stronger rock-climbing culture instead of ethnic-culturally centered and queer society, but I guess that's probably the majority of the people who pay for memberships so maybe they don't have a choice.

I…read morewas looking for an opportunity to expose my almost 2-year-old daughter to gymnastics without having a huge commitment (or expense) given that she is still so young. Achieve gymnastics center was the perfect fit as they offer preschool open gyms Monday through Friday from 10 to 11. There is a drop in rate of eight dollars per class and parents can be present to help guide their children through a variety of activities. The coaches and owners are beyond nice, and great with the children. There is a large space with mats, tumble track, foam pit and slide, obstacle courses, hula hoops, and everything your child would need to have a great time! They even have a little basket of beanie baby stuffed animals, which was perfect for my somewhat shy daughter to help her feel more secure in a new space. The open gym ended with a goodbye song and a sticker once shoes were on. The facility also has a larger gym for big kids and adult classes. Four bathrooms are available and toddler toilet seats are installed! There is also a party room space which looks like it would be so fun for a kids birthday event! Today was our first time trying it out and my daughter absolutely loved it. I can't wait to go back.

The phone speaker in the room was a little hard to hear. Some physical exercise is needed for one of the clues.
