This is a great place to play pickleball! I got my sister into the sport and when this facility…read moreopened, she signed up to become a member instantly. She's competed and made new friends through their open plays and events. Whenever I visit, we spend about 60% of our time here. Everyone I've met has been pleasant, and it's like being surrounded by family and friends. Usually, when we play for hours, we go up to the restaurant area and grab some wings and some brew. We've even jumped on the mic during Karaoke night, which happens on Fridays. The only thing I wish they could change is the time the restaurant closes - they typically have open plays at night that end at 10pm, which is the same time the restaurant closes and that's when a lot of us have been craving those wings! Regardless, this is definitely one of my favorite things to do in Rockford.

Talk about a beautiful remodel!…read more Hadn't ever been here before but knew at one point it was kind of a run down indoor soccer place. Now it's transformed into a world class indoor pickleball club (and more). They have probably 15 or so pickleball courts, a pro shop, locker rooms, cornhole, darts, pool tables, a ping pong table, a restaurant with great food (we collectively got the tacos and a few burgers and they were all great!), a tap wall with 30ish beer and wine options, a few mix drink options, and even some events throughout the week like karaoke. Staff are friendly and are super patient even if you're a first timer like me. I never played pickleball in my life before stepping foot in this place and I left absolutely loving it. It's like a cross between tennis and ping pong and judging by the wide variety of ages, this is literally a sport for anyone. We came with our 86 year old grandpa had he had a great time! They also offer memberships if you plan on coming more than once. All in all an awesome addition to the Rockford area. Can't wait to come back again soon!

Ace…read morePickleball has the friendliest staff and they go above and beyond with each person that walks through the door. They are extremely welcoming. Felix, Michael, Jim and all of the staff are very personable. They even jump in to play if needed which is awesome. Ace has 12.5 courts (.5 being the warm up court). Next to the warm up court there is an area to stretch with a few machines available. There is also a break room with a microwave if you need to do some work or eat. The courts are divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced courts- although sometimes there can be players who are just using the court if it is open and may not reflect the level correctly. The courts and nets are sturdy and provide stability. Courts 1&2 and the 3 middle courts also have video recording if you download playsight. It is really easy to use. Ace also offers a titan ball machine to use along with hoppers to pick up the balls. They also offer demo paddles if you are interested. Ace pickleball is ALL inclusive which means you only need to pay for the membership and everything is included or purchase a daily drop in fee. So what are you waiting for? Join now!! :)

At the moment, there is a $30 membership trial, so I definitely suggest it. There's 14 courts, all open play. Which means, if it's busy, all courts are open for anyone to put their paddle on the rack and cycle in. It's a great way to meet people but also play against different playstyles. There are 3 court levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. So of course, play at the level you feel comfortable at. The staff is really awesome to work with and they've been very helpful with everything. The club is also hosting more events so that's fun too! For private courts - they will have some available, on the app, only for non-peak hours. Peak hours = all open play. Also, if it's not busy, you can ask the front desk to borrow their Titan Pro Ball Machine, that thing is amazing for drills and practice. Highly recommend the place!
