Got a superb haircut/styling from Marie, which is not easy when one has very short hair--clipped on the sides, scissored & tousled on the top. The transition has to be seamless; the angling on the top--esp. with straight hair/no natural wave or curl--for finger-styling has to be expert. Otherwise I'd look like a nursing home patient w. a bad pixie cut or a biker w. Helmet-hair or a dude w. breasts in female clothing w. a Mohawk. Am very happy + shop is clean & cute & welcoming.

It was truthful but a bit unkind as I was having a bad hair day! I was truly annoyed that I was unhappy with my cut and had to go to another salon for a recut paying for 2 haircuts in one week. What I was correct about was the owner! She called me and cancelled my appointment and told me to find another salon because of my yelp review!!! A good business person would have handled it quite differently. Owners are usually friendly to all customers and she would ONLY say hello if we made eye contact which was rare. To sit in a salon for 3 hours a few feet from the owner without so much as a how are you is amazing. This one star rating reflects my experience with the salon but Jennie Lynn is a 4 or 5 star colorist.

I walked in with a too-heavy, growing-out straight basic haircut (I've been growing it out from a pixie since March 2020), and walked out with a stylish and sassy bob that didn't sacrifice much length AND gave my hair movement again. The salon is a family-friendly place (grandparents taking their granddaughter for her Quinceanera updo - so sweet), and the owners speak English, Spanish and Portugese. When I arrived my stylist Denise requested prepayment for my cut. Although I found the request a little odd I pre-paid for a cut and color and that was a HUGE MISTAKE! She had 2 other clients come in and she didn't even start my haircut for about an hour after my arrival. After she butchered my hair cut she placed a cap on my head to color it and pull my hair through. I was appalled and wanted to leave immediately! She told me the cap would've been the best way to color my hair. The trendy rose gold color would've never worked with a pull cap. I mentioned to her as I finally caught a glimpse in the mirror, that the highlights looked gray or silver. I asked her about it and she ignored me. Then, when I could finally see the results, I told her that I had expected golden highlights like I normally get. So, I ended up with dark brown hair & silver highlights. I told her that this was not what I requested. The entire time she was working on my hair, she was distracted by answering the phone even though there were two other salon ladies there. I repeated again to her that what I had wanted, which was not what I got. She ignored me. I paid her and left. I'm not going back. If she had brought out the swatches to allow me to choose, that would have helped with any confusion on her part. I texted her again that what I got was not what I wanted or asked for. She ignored my text messages.
