Carly's light had been on steadily since passing emissions last year. I now live near H3 Automotive Repair in McDonough and love those guys. When I left for a judging assignment last week, I dropped Carly off and said "she needs to pass emissions." Daniel is really good! I mean really good! Dan and his team have done so much work for me, I can't even begin to explain but to name a few jobs: *replaced my entire carpet with wood laminate completely refurbishing and upgrading the look and feel of my whole RV *repaired complete flooding damage from a busted toilet pipe that flooded the entire RV for 3 days *replaced the fuel pump after lowering my 80 gallon FULL gas tank and removing the the fuel pump from the gas tank and replacing it *replaced my toilet with a brand new toilet *fixed my slideouts *performed a leak test on my RV and then sealed up every hole that leaked, air making the RV weatherproof *troubleshot and fixed all of the lights under my rig in the luggage compartments *replaced my power transfer unit after my RV flooded out to reestablish my RV electric power *repaired a plumbing problem with water backing up in my pipes, cleaned the trap and reconfigured a better water evacuation route with the pipes *fixed my washer and dryer, and also cleaned the exhaust plenum that was compacted with lint and threatened a dryer fire *worked on my Onan 5500 watt generator fixing a problem with it *consulted with me on the phone a thousand times to talk me through fixing a myriad of issues on my own As you can see all of the various systems he worked on to include of electrical (electrician), electronic (DC - multimeters), water, tanks, & voids - plumbing (plumber), mechanical repair (auto mechanic), carpentry, woodworking (carpenter) ...what is it that this professional cannot do? All of this while working on four or five rigs around me at the campground, simultaneously! You see, whenever Dan hits the campground he can never pull in, do a job, and leave. He is surrounded like the Ice Cream man on a hot, summer, afternoon and every rig-owner that has a small problem wants him to stop by before leaving the park. So, that is who Dan the Man of Steel is. He is a real RV professional that knows what the hell is talking about and works hard until he gets the job done. You would be lucky to have him working in, around,or on your RV. I have seen a couple of people have had some not so stellar reviews of Dan. I had a problem or two with a worker of his once. Dan spent so much of his personal time, and lost money on the deal getting me right that I can tell you if someone had a bad experience with him that experience is out of the ordinary for Dan. He is human and so not every venture out will be slam dunk but I wouldn't want anyone else working on my rig because if he or his team screws something up, Dan is going to make sure that it gets corrected. Instead, one of the technicians rolled display tires right in front of my car like I didn't even exist--no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. Just completely ignored. I stood there for about 15 minutes while they casually went about their business. Then another customer pulls up, walks inside, speaks to that same technician, and suddenly he's right back outside grabbing a jack and immediately servicing that vehicle. So let me get this straight--you ignore the customer who's been standing there waiting, but jump straight to the next guy who walks in? That tells me everything I need to know about how this place operates. This wasn't about being busy. This was blatant disregard and zero respect for customers. I left, and I won't be back. If you value your time and expect even the most basic level of customer service, go somewhere else. There are plenty of professional shops out there--this is not one of them. I literally purchased this vehicle on october thirty first and november seventh.I was driving doing overeat orders the gears went completely out on the vehicle i had to release the emergency brake to keep from crashing into a parked vehicle. I then called the dealer and addressed the issue. And he told me that his mechanic will come where I was to take a look at the vehicle. But I had to give the mechanic $80 for him to come to find out what was going on. The funny thing is when the mechanic got there. He went straight under the hood and went directly to the issue, and you clearly could also see that there were a lot of things rigged up under the hood. The owner told me that he was not responsible for any Wear and tear on the vehicle because what was going on with the vehicle that it was nothing wrong with it when I purchased it basically accusing me of the issue.I was clearly told by the mechanic that it was a mechanical issue when I addressed all of the sensors that had appeared on the dashboard to the dealer, he stated that he would get my car to pass the emissions. But that's all that he is responsible for.And he would figure out how to get the emissions to be able to give me plates for the vehicle, when the time came, I would not recommend this company to anyone.This man clearly saw that I was a woman, and I was taken advantage of and I got ripped off over two thousand dollars on a vehicle that I can no longer drive
