Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention, but if you were to ask me to name a place that could…read moregive you a unique Thai experience, I would think of Siam Terrace. I think many Thai places are very similar, standard noodle and curry options with the same meat choices. I found that Siam Terrace has some really neat options that I normally do not see in my local Thai spots, and they do a great job with the food as well! First and foremost, Siam Terrace does the basics correct. What I mean is that their noodles can always be an option if you need something simple. Normally I am not a Pad Thai person, I prefer the spice of the Pad See Ew instead, but I decided to get it here and it was outstanding. Noodles weren't too sticky, all the sour, sweet and salty elements were there, and it was super filling and affordable! They have so many different options, I imagine they are all fantastic! The item I ordered that I don't see often elsewhere is their duck curry. Although it is a red curry, there are enough sweet elements to balance the blaze of the curry. The duck itself is tender and flavorful and they certainly don't skimp on the amount of duck you receive! Paired with rice, it is a really great dish. Another underrated aspect of the restaurant is that it is so accommodating to various diets. They have so many vegetarian friendly options, including said duck dishes! I can always stand behind a solid restaurant that serves all!

This place is by far the best Thai food I've ever had and let me tell you I've had a lot of Thai food. The peanut sauce they used on their chicken and broccoli. Peanut dish was like nothing I've ever tasted before. Their pod Woon sen was out of this world and both had an enormously generous amount of fresh veggies. Everything was fresh. The prices were good. The egg rolls were outstanding. I'm so so sad. I won't have a reason to come back here for a long time. I might have to create a reason.

It's a weird and wonderful place, especially if you are into DIY oriental food, especially for my…read moresoft spot, ramen. It IS a grocery store in that it has produce, a meat and seafood counter, as well as dry goods, refrigerated items and a robust set of upright freezer cases - mostly full of items not normally found in the US. They also carry many American staples when those are needed in a pinch, but the focus is clearly on what's not available anywhere else in the area. That said all the produce is top-notch and beautifully displayed/maintained. The meat/seafood selection fresh (and more so) frozen is pretty extensive, even down to how things are sliced and/or shaped. Then there's the bakery which is past the checkout lanes all the way at the far front-end of this place (which is the size of a large Aldi's). I'm pretty sure I saw a loaf of bread or two in the grocery areas, but they did not suggest the kind of exquisite baked goods on display when you enter the area - in both the grab your own area (croissants, bagels, donuts) and the counter glass case (fancy pastries). They're not cheap, but also fancier then you may even find at say Martinelli's and my creme-filled croissant was an epically delicious mess! Without burying the lead for some folks, because I was there around 9 AM, I didn't smell anything savory cooking yet, but behind the bakery are several more separate food stalls that make up a mini Asian food court for yummy things like noodles, bibimbap and ramen. I hope to come back and sample them soon.

This place has quite a lot of selections of food items including my favorite exotic fruits durians. There were lots of dried good items that we got as well as food courts that we brought food.
