I'm writing this review today to specifically leave the highest accolades to Mirror Mirror Beaute Bar and their efforts to ensure the highest level of safety for all clients and stylists during the uncertain times of COVID-19. When Gov. Kemp announced that hair salons could reopen as of Friday April 24, I immediately called my stylist and scheduled an appointment- even though I am a healthcare worker and 100% advocate for social distancing. I also advocate for self care. Self Care = Essential. When making my appointment, I was given a list of guidelines that had to be followed in order to come to the salon: call from car, sign waiver, have temp taken, enter through a specific door, wear mask, etc. When I arrived, I text my stylist and I waited in the care until she was ready for me. Prior to entering, I donned my mask. No more waiting in the lobby. When I entered I immediately noticed they have removed all products and anything else that could harbor germs- don't worry you can still buy your most needed products. I was escorted over to a table, asked to sign the waiver, had my temp. taken and then record my temp on the log as well as answer basic questions about recent symptoms (as a healthcare worker I am doing this daily- never would I have thought I'd have to do this to go to my hair salon, but here we are in a global pandemic). I was then escorted to my stylists station which was separated from the other stylists. She immediately got to work- wearing her own mask and gloves. Throughout the process I noticed that when each stylist who was there working Saturday had a client who was "processing" or when they were between clients, they each took turns cleaning and disinfecting the common surfaces (door handles, the common check in table, etc). In the 2 hours I was at the salon, I noted the common surfaces being cleaned no less than 4 times. After each client at the shampoo bowls, they disinfected the bowl as well as the chair that the client sat in. Upon completion of my appointment we took care of the "check out process" right at the stylist station on her iPad. I was able to insert my credit card myself and was not required to sign anything- contactless if you will. All in all- MMBB has their process 100% dialed in. As a nurse practitioner I was paying close attention. These ladies are taking this VERY seriously for the well being of not only theirselves but their clients. If you are on the fence about returning to the salon, don't be hesitant about heading in to MMBB. They have your utmost safety at heart and doing all they can to ensure the most comfortable experience possible-given the current circumstances. read more

I came in to get my hair colored and I left with patches of orange and unblended unneat work! When I asked for a partial refund to get it fixed at a new salon! the manager then said she thinks a 37$ refund is fair for a 300$ service! Then the manager blocked my number this is what my inspiration picture was and this is how I looked! Beautiful salon with wonderful products and services. My friend recommended I go here as she gets her color and cut here every few months. I had a cut and gloss done by Kyla and Maddie and they did a great job. They work really well together! Definitely got the royal treatment with 2 people working on me at the same time. I was in and out very fast. I went back the next day to take my son for a haircut by Allison and an eyebrow tint for myself by Kellie, both were awesome as well. It's been a minute since I had gotten my hair done and I was ready. I called and got a same day appointment. Awesome!! When I got there, I only had to wait for 5 min while my hairdresser finished up her previous client. I sat in the chair and told her what I wanted and she made it happen. I needed a lot done and I had a time limit. I paid a good penny but I got exactly what I wanted in the time that I had and at the last minute. I will be going back for sure. read more

I asked for something very simple (a trim) and left with 3 or more inches cut off and she thinned my hair when i never asked for that. I do think she did well on framing my face in layers but I specifically said to keep the length and never asked for her to thin it! Veronica has been cutting my hair for 5 years and I have never walked away from the salon with a frown on my face! She gives great advice on styling and color that will work best for me. She also helps me with beauty tips and tricks I can try when I am at home. She is a great listener, and is good at interpreting what I think I want, and then bringing it to life in a way that will work best for my hair type. MMBB has a great atmosphere! I had a good experience at the salon. The staff were nice and the salon was very clean, however I won't be going back. They charge $30 for your hair to be shampooed and blow dried. I already had an expensive color appointment and wasn't expecting them to throw in an extra $30 to get my hair shampooed. How do you do a color appointment without getting your hair shampooed anyways? I have never had this additional charge at other more upscale salons. read more

My experience here was not good at all. The first time that I got my haircut I asked for something that was easy to style, I guess there was a miscommunication because the haircut that I got needed to be curled and styled which is something I don't have time for every day. I was willing to give it another shot. I went in for a haircut and color before my honeymoon the haircut was OK, however the hair color was not. The color that I picked, rose gold apparently is one that does not stay well. I was not told this was the case and had I known I would not have picked it because I went on my honeymoon wash my hair once and every single bit of the color was out. My hair ended up looking horrible for my entire honeymoon as I had to wear up in a ponytail to try and hide the roots that were left behind. I'm not a hair professional, that's why I Pay to have it done, And if I mentioned I was going away on my honeymoon for 10 days and you knew that this was not a color that would stand up to a beach vacation then why not mention it instead of just taking the $175 and let me disappointed because all of my pictures look like crap. I had a facial here as well, the first one I really enjoyed. I attempted to book a second which took me six weeks. The day before the facial was scheduled I get a call that she would have to cancel the facial because she was going away for the weekend with her husband. There are too many places in the area that offer fantastic customer service, and this is definitely not one of them read more

Christina! She's my Wonder Woman. Five stars for both salon visits. My first visit was to correct the most awful home coloring job ever. I wanted to let my god given silver hair grow out again. I had a picture to show Christina the gray color and cut I wanted. She nailed it! My hair looked just like the picture. We both agreed that the gray would grow out seamlessly. My second visit to Christina was four months later. Yes my hair had grown out nicely. (I visit from NW Ohio to family in Acworth.) Anyways, I again had a picture with the hairstyle I wanted. She did it again! My hair looked just like the picture. After all the compliments I have gotten since the cut, I decided to write this review for anyone looking for a salon in the area. I'm not aware of their other services. They just doubled the size of the salon so I would imagine services are extensive. Highly recommend! read more

So my mother made an appointment to have my childs hair done at this place. Her recital is Saturday and all we wanted was a high bun. They called today to lie and tell my mother they can't have children under 13 in the salon due to the new state guidelines. That is a LIE.... if you don't want people in your shop just say so.. WHY TELL US WE HAVE AN APPOINTMENT THEN CALL US BACK TO TELL YOUR LIES!!! I got my haircut there last week and I hate it. It doesn't look anything like the style I showed the lady who cut it. I thought maybe once I got home and had time to work with it I might like it. But it's been a week and I still hate it. The sad thing is is that my son graduates college this weekend and pictures will be taken. Will definitely not be going back there. To pay $45 for a haircut and hate it doesn't seem right. read more
