We had a hard time trying to find this place since Apple Map took us to different side of town away from it. It was very close to Hilton Garden Inn that we stayed. Luckily Google Map provided us a great direction to find it. You have to figure out what to order at the counter, place the order before you can sit down at the table. The food was well-prepared in Asian fusion style. We shared the pork belly buns among four of us. No alcohol served but still a great dining experience.

Hot honey green tea was overly sweet but flavorful and Dr. Pepper fresh.

The food is fresh and seasoned. The service is friendly and speedy. Atmosphere is warm but busy. Great dinner.

    Chicken Teryaki Entree

The food was fantastic! The new shop is very nice and has lots of seating. The food came out quickly. We got a chicken teriyaki and a chicken hibachi entree. Both were great and good portions! I like that they have take out containers by the soda fountain so you can grab one yourself. I had expected the food to be a little bit cheaper since it's an "order at the counter" place, but I'd go back, because I'm interested in trying some of their appetizers like the bao buns and gyoza.

We went to the one in Aiken. Once you get the hang of ordering, the food is superior. Outstanding. A++++

It's in a quiet neighborhood bordering a pretty bougie living community so I shouldn't have been surprised at the blandness but I was. I got chicken fried rice I think and it was truly so bland and there were no offered flavor enhancers like soy sauce. It was ok but absolutely not worth the cost. The service was very friendly and the overall restaurant vibes were unoffensive to the point that they barely had any decorations up. Just a bland atmosphere overall. I wish I could've liked it but it was disappointing. I can make better Asian fusion in my home kitchen and save a lot of money next time.

Because of this I felt reasonably confident that they understood what "vegan" means and would be able to accommodate me. Well things didn't start out great as we asked our server about vegan options and they didn't seem to know what could be made vegan. We asked about the "wok favorites" on the menu (you can choose marinated tofu as an option) and were told after we ordered that the marinated tofu could not be made vegan. So about half the menu we'd been eyeing was not available for us at that point. I ordered a noodle dish with plain tofu (the only vegan protein available). I made it clear that I would like the dish to be vegan and it came out made with eggs. They remade it for me, but it just wasn't good. Wasn't good before they remade it when I took a bite and realized it had egg and wasn't good when it was remade. The noodles were way over cooked and slimy and the flavor wasn't great. Disappointed with this place in every way and would not return. And on top of everything else it's way too expensive for the quality of food.

There is something for everyone from the safe little California Rolls to the ones topped with more exotic ingredients. My favorites smocked salmon, thinly sliced Ahi and the Eel. The ones topped with a tiny octopus were a delight The grill prepares a tasty hot meal of your choice and the hot bar has many selections of Chinese favorites. The only thing I found lacking was the hot and sour soup, which was neither and rather tasteless in general. I almost missed the crab Rangoon although the pork potstickers were a crispy tasty thing. Service was good and restaurant was very clean. Well worth the drive all the way to Evan's even at $20 per meal without drinks.

I came here for lunch today and paid $14.50 (I am originally from the metro Atlanta area, so this is a great price). There are a few caveats to consider, though! This is not your average buffet since it is centered around sushi. So that means the hot foods selection is scarce. If you are looking for that type of buffet, I would go elsewhere. Also, the selection of sushi may seem like a lot at first glance, but in reality there is only about a handful. A lot of the rolls are the same rolls with different names and different garnishes on top. There is a hibachi grill inside for you to customize your meal and a soup section as well. The desserts are as buffet-average as it gets. The staff is great for the most part; they'll pick up your plates and keep your area clean. Honestly, I left satisfying my sushi craving, and I was full. All for $14.50, I can't complain.
