I left a message at 6 AM expecting a call back after they opened at 7, so I was pleasantly surprised when Richard texted me at 6:30 asking if I was available to talk. Within minutes, we were on the phone. Richard was calm, focused, and incredibly knowledgeable. He walked me through everything -- the pros and cons of getting the inspection, what's actually required for newer homes, and why I likely don't need the test since most modern homes use a multipurpose line. He didn't try to sell me anything. Instead, he gave me practical, money‑saving advice and even taught me how to test my sprinkler bell myself, when to call a specialist, and how to replace a fire sprinkler plate if it ever falls off. His guidance saved me a lot of money and gave me real peace of mind. I'm grateful for the honesty, responsiveness, and expertise. Highly recommend working with Richard and ASI Fire Protection.

I would not recommend this company…read more Their website says, *"Call Huff First... We specialize in getting repairs done right on time, the first time. The time you spend with us will not be wasted! If we are not a good match, we will point you in the right direction."* Unfortunately, that was not our experience at all. Rick Huff, the owner, came to our home on January 3rd to address a leak in our kitchen ceiling. He diagnosed it as a broken valve in our fire sprinkler system and repaired it in less than 30 minutes. We paid $640 for the repair, and he cashed the check the same day. Three days later, the leak started again in the exact same spot. I immediately reached out via text asking him to come back and fix the issue since it clearly wasn't repaired correctly the first time. He did not respond. My husband called him and was told he was "busy that week." On January 10th, I followed up again and was told, "I'm not sure and will text when we are available." After another week with no resolution (and having to keep the water turned off to our entire fire sprinkler system), I offered multiple appointment options to make it easy. His response? "You can hire any number of companies to repair." After that, he stopped responding to texts and emails. I even requested a refund so we could hire someone else, and received no reply. A company that claims to fix things "right the first time" but won't stand behind their work when it fails days later is not professional or trustworthy. Very disappointing experience.

In the process, unfortunately, a leak developed in our attic, creating a water stain on the ceiling in our bedroom. Our contractor came out and double-checked in the attic and confirmed it was definitely the fire sprinkler. A young man came out the same day to repair the problem. However, he did not have the right piece of material he needed. He left the water off and explained that another employee would be out shortly to repair the issue. About 90 minutes later, a guy showed up reeking of alcohol!!! He had come in our garage without our knowledge and opened up our garage door. Upon realizing he was on our property and in our garage, I explained he needed to go around to the back of our home and enter. Once in the attic, it sounded like an elephant was up there. One of the covers to one of the fire sprinklers not related to this job was knocked to the floor. Once he finished the job, this was the mess he left behind, instructing us to leave the water off for another hour. He was tall, slender, unshaven, lots of tattoos, and reeked of alcohol!!! DO NOT let him in your home if he shows up. Praying once we turn the water on, we don't have more problems than we initially had!
