This company is not good. I would not recommend them to anyone. I purchased a home within the last year, and Premier Fire was the one who installed the system. It was installed incorrectly and one of the sprinkler heads failed. Unfortunately, it was on a holiday weekend, and I had to call another place to fix it. The other "reputable" companies came by and replaced the bad head, and found out the rest of it was not in compliance. There was a laundry list of things that should have never passed inspection from what I was told. Needless to say, when I found out who installed it, I called. Steve Petri basically told me he would not pay me back the full amount of the repairs, which was expensive. However, I wasn't the one who "installed" the system. I would avoid using this business due to the lack of professionalism and care about the work they do. It is shotty at best, and I have no idea if there will future issues. This company has no remorse when it comes to the customers. I am disappointed that there are people like this who take advantage of others. DO NOT USE THIS CLOWN SHOW! read more

We had a contractor do some work for us, and it required additional fire sprinklers to be installed. In the process, unfortunately, a leak developed in our attic, creating a water stain on the ceiling in our bedroom. Our contractor came out and double-checked in the attic and confirmed it was definitely the fire sprinkler. A young man came out the same day to repair the problem. However, he did not have the right piece of material he needed. He left the water off and explained that another employee would be out shortly to repair the issue. About 90 minutes later, a guy showed up reeking of alcohol!!! He had come in our garage without our knowledge and opened up our garage door. Upon realizing he was on our property and in our garage, I explained he needed to go around to the back of our home and enter. Once in the attic, it sounded like an elephant was up there. One of the covers to one of the fire sprinklers not related to this job was knocked to the floor. Once he finished the job, this was the mess he left behind, instructing us to leave the water off for another hour. He was tall, slender, unshaven, lots of tattoos, and reeked of alcohol!!! DO NOT let him in your home if he shows up. Praying once we turn the water on, we don't have more problems than we initially had! read more

Steve Petri worked on my home remodel in the summer and fall of 2013. He was surly, unresponsive, and this all after I gave him the contract. Steve was unpleasant to deal with from the moment I signed the contract. A few examples: 1. With six weeks advance notice, he could not meet the start date on the construction schedule. 2. He always showed up with a sour expression on his face and gave grunting replies no matter how friendly he was asked questions. He looked downright angry most of the time. 3. 48 hours was the fastest he ever returned a phone call. Typically, he would not return calls at all. 4. In his defense, he did bill promptly. This man should not work with the general public. I would never hire him again and highly recommend you avoid him unless you have masochistic tendencies. read more

I hired this guy to do a house in San Diego as soon as he finish the rough in for the sprinkler system I paid him 90% of the contract price. When I needed him to come back to do the rest of the job he wouldn't return any phone calls text messages or emails his guy showed up unannounced and did 90% of the finish work only to leave me waiting another month and a half with no response again to text Messages emails or phone calls the moment I let him know that someone else was going to finish and came out and fixed the things that he left unfinished that cause leaks and drywall damage he was Johnny on the spot this guy is a scumbag I would never hire this company again they have the cheapest prices for a reason because they suck read more

I'm not sure how a company like this can call themselves "Premier". They never answer calls. Act arrogant when you finally do talk to someone. Try to blame you for not being home when they show up after they wouldn't talk to you or answer phone calls to them. I wish there was a way for a regular person to warn people about contractors like this. When they finally did show up, scheduled, the one employee here complained of being taken advantage of and not being paid when promised. Total mistake. I'd give this zero stars if I could. In my humble opinion this is a horrible company to deal with. The worst in customer service which was non-existent. No return calls, missed schedule dates, no answering the phone, showing up at our home without arranging with us (and then having an attidude because they don't have access), not showing up when promised; the list goes on. Arrogant and totally unprofessional attitude when you were "lucky" enough to speak with someone. And the work had to be repaired after installation. I sure would like to know what's so special about this kind of construction work that warrants such lousy customer service. Might have an update after another issue gets resolved. read more

Steve (the owner) sent a man out to do the rough installation - this cost 90% of the total contract. So far so good, but it was all bad after that point. When it came time to trim out the system, my calls went unanswered, so I had to do it myself. Then, when it came time for the Fire Marshal's inspection of the system, I talked to Steve on the phone, and he said he'd do what was obliged of him. But he didn't lift a finger. Then, yet another call went unanswered.
