I reached out to ASI Fire Protection early in the morning to ask about getting a fire sprinkler system inspection before installing a Halo H2O system on my main water line. I left a message at 6 AM expecting a call back after they opened at 7, so I was pleasantly surprised when Richard texted me at 6:30 asking if I was available to talk. Within minutes, we were on the phone. Richard was calm, focused, and incredibly knowledgeable. He walked me through everything -- the pros and cons of getting the inspection, what's actually required for newer homes, and why I likely don't need the test since most modern homes use a multipurpose line. He didn't try to sell me anything. Instead, he gave me practical, money‑saving advice and even taught me how to test my sprinkler bell myself, when to call a specialist, and how to replace a fire sprinkler plate if it ever falls off. His guidance saved me a lot of money and gave me real peace of mind. I'm grateful for the honesty, responsiveness, and expertise. Highly recommend working with Richard and ASI Fire Protection. read more

Wow, I send it a request and literally within the hours I was meeting one of their technicians to do some work for me a fraction of the cost I had received from a competing company. read more

They were quick to respond. Gave a quote over the phone. Easy to work with. Professional

We were ready to give them 5 stars after getting off the phone with Esther. Our communication via phone and email were good and out of the 4 places we looked to buy fire extinguishers , this location had the best rate for the extinguishers and their cabinets. Unfortunately, there was an issue with their inventory's availability. Upon pick up, they didn't have the stock of the items they said they would, so the items didn't match the invoice. This was very frustrating when you're short on time. We had booked a time to meet with our handyman to install them at a property far away. We had to get a hold of the owner, Dave, who went above and beyond to make it right. The very next day we had the correct items delivered and installed. The items look good and for that reason I give them 4 stars. read more

ASI always provides excellent customer service! We use them anytime we need an inspection!

After lightly bumping my inspector's test valve on the outside of my house, and setting off the sprinkler system, fire alarm, I learned a lot about what an inspector's test valve actually is. Firstly, is not anything that a Handyman can fix for you, not even a licensed plumber can mess with those, you have to have a fire certified specialist. That's where ASI comes in. I called them and spoke with one of their employees on the phone, on the same day that I had to shut down the water for my entire house. She was super helpful and convinced one of their employees to stop what he was currently doing and get down to my place to help me get my water back on again. Victor, the ASI employee who showed up, was fantastic. Not only did he fix the valve, but he was also a very interesting person in general with lots of stories related to his industry and adventures he had had in it. With only a couple of delays, my water was back on before the sunset on the same day that I had broken that little valve. Highly recommended. And when I say "highly recommended" I'm talking about using ASI, I'm not recommending that you break your inspector's test valve on the outside of your house, those things can get expensive. read more

We had an issue with our home fire sprinkler system making a strange rattling noise and called at least a dozen companies trying to get someone to assess it. Most of them charged a fee just to come take a look, but ASI Fire Protection stood out immediately by not charging any assessment fee at all -- and ultimately exceeded every expectation. From the very first call, their customer service was fantastic. They initially scheduled us for Friday, but when the owner realized he would be in our area, he generously rearranged his schedule and came out the very next day. That level of consideration alone was impressive. He quickly identified the issue, fixed it, and went above and beyond by improving our overall fire sprinkler system -- far more than we originally requested. He was kind, professional, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. On top of everything else, the pricing was an amazing value for the level of service provided. It's rare to find a company with this level of integrity, skill, and genuine care for their customers. We cannot recommend ASI Fire Protection highly enough. read more

ASI Fire Protection - Fire Protection Services Near Me - Escondido, California

Was concerned about a wet spot on the ceiling of our MBR closet which developed during the recent rain. Wanted to rule out our in-home fire sprinkler in the attic as there appeared to be moisture around one of the sprinklers. Also, the system had not been inspected in the 7 years we've owned our single story home in Vista. Contacted ASI Escondido to inspect. ASI rep very promptly came to our residence and did an inspection. He assessed that our sprinkler system was in good shape in that the water pressure reading was correct. As it turned out the wet spot came from improperly installed matting underneath our roof tiles which was immediately addressed. Sloppy roofing work when the house was constructed. ASI will be our "go to" roofing professional as needed. Thank you ASI Fire Protection out of Escondido! read more

I want to do a huge shout out to ASI fire protection. I needed some work done on a few of my fire sprinklers in my house. Initially, I spoke with the owner, Richard Rincon. He provided a quote and was very thorough in what services he was going to provide.. He then sent out two amazing technicians who did the work. Each step of the way they explained what they were doing and kept me informed of the whole process. They were polite, knowledgeable, and experts at what they did. They even tested my water lines to make sure my system was working correctly. The two technicians who came were Jesus and Ashton. ASI's response time and communication were excellent. I sent an Request for Proposal out to 10 companies and chose to work with ASI. Tech's Jesus and Jarod were on time and thorough. It has been a pleasurable experience and I plan on directing more business their way. We manage 26 multi-family properties in SD County and have had experience with several Fire protection vendors, but were forced to change things after Cintas bought / took over the smaller local companies we were working with, and balled it all up. Quick, responsive, and helped us with a very unusual request lol. Apparently we were supposed to drain the residential fire sprinkler system prior to heat treatment for termites. It may have just been an extra cautionary step the termite company requested... either way we appreciate that it's brought ASI into our list of go-to vendors for any fire sprinkler/protection needs. As a Real Estate Agent, I am seeing the need for these guys much more often as so many homes are now in the high fire hazard areas. I look forward to having them help all my clients when the need arises! Thanks ASI team! read more

Please do not trust these guys. They came into my store and claimed to be the fire department. They then proceeded to service my fire extinguishers 4 months early, without my knowledge of it. As a business owner I already have enough expenses to worry about. Now I had to pay double this year. These guys ripped me off! Be very, very cautious with them. I am very unhappy with this and I will never allow them in my store again. read more
