The fire protection company that has the contract with my HOA refused to give me an exact scheduled time to complete the necessary work. Not even a 2 hour window. I called almost every fire protection company in San Diego and most either didn't answer the phone after 4pm or refused to work around my work schedule. I'm on call 7/24 and never know when I'm working. When I called Western Fire Protection they answered the phone right away and and connected me to Mark Scott who eagerly responded to my request without hesitation. In November, 2021 a technician inspected my sprinkler heads and Mark provided a professional detailed report of which sprinkler heads needed to be replaced and a written proposal of the work that needed to be done at a reasonable cost. The report from Western Fire Protection was far more trustworthy than the other company under contract with Walters Management. I'm grateful I chose Western Fire Protection to do the work and not the company that currently has a contract. Mark Scott scheduled the replacement of my sprinkler heads on Friday, February 18, 2022 for Monday, February 21, 2022 at 7am which nicely accommodated my work schedule. At exactly 7am Eduardo was at my front door ready to work. The sprinkler heads in my garage were connected by machine prior to installation making removal of the sprinkler heads next to impossible without cutting into the drywall. Eduardo knew if he wasn't careful the sprinkler head would break because they're connected to plastic pipes which would cause damage to my unit and my neighbors unit. Eduardo treated my home like he would treat his own home. It was a long tedious process but Eduardo never gave up and removed the sprinkler heads without causing damage to the pipes. Eduardo is truly my hero and I'm so grateful I called Western Fire Protection to inspect and replace my sprinkler heads. Don't waste your time calling other fire protection companies in San Diego. Just call Western Fire Protection when you need sprinkler heads inspected and installed. Thank you Mark and Eduardo at Western Fire Protection.

This business is actively abusing public resources and violating San Diego law. All County Fire…read moreregularly parks 3-4 commercial vans overnight on Iowa Street, despite having a private driveway and multiple garage spaces on-site. This is a clear violation of San Diego Municipal Code §86.0139, which prohibits overnight parking of commercial vehicles in residential zones between 2-6 AM. They're also likely violating §86.27, which limits public street parking to 72 hours. Their behavior is selfish and inconsiderate. Residents of Iowa Street--many of whom live in apartments with no private parking--are forced to walk several blocks late at night while these men leave their company vans along the curb like it's their personal lot. It's not only illegal, it's dangerous. I strongly encourage every impacted resident to file a report with San Diego Parking Enforcement through the "Get It Done" app or by calling (619) 531-2000. You can cite these violations and attach photos of their vans. This is not a one-time issue. It's daily, ongoing, and reflects poorly on any business that claims to serve the public. If you care about safe, accessible neighborhoods, speak up. These men clearly won't do the right thing on their own.
