I chose this place based off other reviews and I was very pleased. If I lived closer this would be my go to salon-unfortunately I'm stuck with crap salons where I live :( Salon: very clean, well decorated, not too loud, had plenty of light for the nail part and also the pedi part but they were able to tone down lights when you get a pedi which was also a great feature. Plenty of parking. Staff: I was greeted by multiple people when I walked in. My technician was very friendly and easy to understand. He asked a couple times if I wanted something to drink which is a nice gesture. There was plenty of staff which was good because they were busy for the middle of the day on a Thursday. Nails: they did a fantastic job, I did a shellac pedi and dip on my fingers. They had tons of color choices and different options for the type of mani pedi I wanted. He was quick but also took his time if that makes sense. Meaning he didn't rush through the massage or cleaning my feed or painting etc but didn't take so long that I felt I was there forever. Price: comparable with other salons. Total I paid $130 (not including tip). I got a few levels up from the basic pedi and of course the dip. But if you're looking for something a little cheaper they did have basic options. read more

I started coming here after I moved to San Antonio. I always have such a great experience. The salon is clean and well put together. The staff is super polite and genuine. I had one bad experience with a young man. I was very disappointed with his work on my nails. I came in again today because I love this nail salon and didn't want to let one bad experience ruin coming here all together. The staff acknowledged the fact that I was unhappy with my previous visit and fixed it. I went in for dip nails on Friday, I arrived almost at 6 and left around 7:30 or so. I told the nail tech to not cut my nails, to just file some length off. She filed them way too short but it was fine, I can live with that. My problem is that she did dip on my nails and then proceeded to file them for forever. My nails ended up as thin as gel nails or normal polish nails. Anyone who has ever gotten dip nails know they are much thicker but thinner than acrylic. I never asked to file them this thin, I know some filing is required for shaping but she went way way too far. By the time I noticed it was way too late, she literally filed all the dip away and now my nails are too short and too thin. I was beyond pissed at how long I had been there and how awful my nails felt and looked to say anything. I didn't want to be rude or mean to her face but what to actual fuck. All the dip in my nails is gone and now they can break so so easily. If I could leave less than 1 star I would read more

Told lady i didn't like them multiple times before she kept doing everything. I TOLD HER THEY LOOKed bad she said it was because she wasn't done. I started crying. Lady tried fixing and tried charging me $65 for them WITH NO GEMS OR CRYSTALS. I was so upset and mad I wouldn't pay more than 25 for them. They are disgusting. I pay $50 FOR THE PICTURE BELOW IN THE ONE I HAVE HAD DONE. I was also there for over two hours and didn't get offered a drink. Water? Nope. Soda? Nope. Wine? NOPE. It was ridiculous. Love the nails here! I'm very much a creature of habit and will typically stick to a salon, restaurant, cleaners, etc. that I love. So I had been going to another salon for the past year that I have loved, but recently discovered they have been overcharging me by charging the price for a full set versus just a fill-in. So I had to find someplace new and after looking for the past two weeks, I found this place. I normally have always gotten liquid gel, but decided to try something new. I got an ombré solar set and they came out beautiful! The initial cost was a little steep at $65, but for how well they turned out it's worth it. This place was pretty busy, if you're considering it I recommend making an appointment ahead of time. They seemed loyal to their customers with appointments. read more

This place is OK and over priced. I have tried to give it multiple chances because maybe just maybe it was the person or the day.. 1. A gel fill for cost $43 with a $5 up charge for the type of polish/process (the foam process) I got (that's what I was told at first) I chose a metal rose gold color and the process they used made it look line Pewter silver. The worker doing my nails told me it looked better than what I selected. Once I advised that's not what I asked for she added another color ON TOP of the layers I already had to make it closer to what I wanted. The very next day it started chipping big time on multiple nails. I went to get it fixed and then the foam process they charged me more money for the first time was completely skipped and When I brought it up she said she up charged me for having long nails not for the foam.. I advised that doesn't make much sense being that it was a fill and not a whole new set. I gave them a break for a few weeks came back for a pedicure. 1. The water was not hot it was luke warm and started gettin cold while the pedicure was in process. 2. When I asked for them to work on the callous a little more they were resistant because they didn't want to be blamed for it hurting later. I advised that it wouldn't hurt but it actually hurts more if it's not taken off more. 3. The massage felt like when you put it on lotion but it definitely didn't feel like a massage it was more of a nuance than anything. 4. She put one hot towel over my legs rather than individually wrapping each leg so the towel got cold fast. Overall every time I leave this place I end it having spent time and more annoyed. I'm not sure if I just didn't visit the right person but after a 70$ manicure and pedi.. my pedi smudged after 5 hours. I decided to visit after seeing all the great reviews but now as I go back and read there are specific people that were great. Also their pedicure file is a public tool, usually when I do a pedicure they are disposable. When doing my manicure, he pulled out a tool from a very dirty box. As well as soaked my hands in a bowl that seemed to have some sort of manicure residual. I walked out with a pretty good gel manicure at 40$, a 30$ pedicure that smudged and looking back seemed very clean on the appearance and decor but not the actual tools used, which to me is very important. read more

I got the pink and white nails with glitter tips and Jesse did a phenomenal job! I believe management has changed and both managers at the time of my appointment were extraordinarily rude to me - one even laughed at me in the course of a conversation I do not want to put on the internet but she approached me just to mock me. I made an appointment for a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax and I was there for two and a half hours, only to be treated poorly by management and staff that worried me that she had taken off too much during the eyebrow wax. I am glad I am moving next month because I will never go back to this establishment again. The two stars are only because the places is vert clean and that should be rewarded.
