I don't normally write reviews but I really had to for this place. I went there yesterday because there are very few shops open on Sundays. Not my regular place but so thought I would give it a try since it was so close. The place was pretty clean, but the air circulation was awful and the fumes were terrible. I didn't have to wait long so that was a plus but that is where the positive review ends. The older gentleman did my fill in. He started out fine but he pushed my cuticles back very hard and then proceeded to cut me me with the drill on my right middle and ring finger. To the point they were bleeding. He just said sorry and continued on when I told him he hurt me. Still bleeding after washing my hands and him putting on the polish. I did leave a tip only because I was taught to tip for a service and the nails and color looked fine. However today my skin is super raw and I have been putting antibiotic cream and hydrogen peroxide to make sure it doesn't get infected. DO NOT go here. I guarantee there have been complaints to the health board in regards to using a drill aggressively and probably sanitation issues. Yuck! So if you can see my pointer finger, middle finger and now pinkie are red inflamed and have scabs forming. I want my money back please read more

Honestly they do really good nails here. My issue isn't with that. It's the discrimination they do here that irks my nerves. They will not allow the black customers to use their debit card in this place. I've watched it for months. Instead they ask you to use the ATM in the back. It makes no sense because if they don't have money it's not going to matter either way. They always claim the card machine is broken however one of their employees informed me that it's a lie. Maybe they don't want to play the fees...i don't know. All i know is that i watched 3 customers, including a friend of mine, use the machine and then they told me it didn't work. read more

I got my eyebrows waxed here, I get them done frequently so I'm aware of the red irritation around my eyebrows and middle of forehead, usually goes away within the hour but after I was wondering why it was burning so bad I looked in the mirror and the wax, which was obviously too hot, took all the skin off under my eyebrows and the whole middle area of my forehead it is totally raw, so I went back and the man REFUSED to just admit he burned me, he said its irritation when you can see my raw skin and told me I didn't know what irritation looked like (I've gotten my eyebrows done many many times) and would not give a refund or even admit that they burned me. Despite the bad reviews before this one, I had a pleasant experience. I was pressed for time I went in at 10:06 and was out by 10:55 no lie. They had two people work on me at the same time which I usually don't like but they got the job done. I got a fill in with gel polish and a pedicure with designs. They did have their own side conversation but they did make me feel good getting my nails done and still made convo with me. I will update in a week or two to see how long the service lasted. But I will probably come back I'm still trying out salons in the Hampton area. I didn't give 5 stars because it wasn't perfect to me, the nail drill got me a few times, but very close & good service. I was impressed with how my nails looked in such a short period of time. read more

First time I had a pedicure it took 1.5 hours. I was irritated and ready to go!!! Second and LAST time was today. It was 5 min shy of being 2 hours!!! During that time, she had the acetone on my fingertips "soaking" off. My fingers were hurting so bad and I was just tired of waiting!! One of the ladies tried to make it right but I couldn't stand to be in there another min Ridiculous, the younger guys seem to be the good ones but after that last experience.... I'm good. I am super particular about the shape and thickness. I like them to look very natural because I just get an over lay and that sometimes can be difficult for techs. I took my little sister here today. We walked in and spoke with the nice lady named Nancy who asked what we would like which was only a fill-in and a fixed nail. My little sister has been here before ONCE. So I asked my sister who she had, she told me Vincent. So I tell the lady can Vincent do her nail. Vincent comes over with an attitude and says "I can only do her one nail, I don't have time to do your fill-in". So Linda comes and gets me to do my fill-in. My fill-in is done before Vincent is ready to do my sister's nail. He yells something and looks at me. I'm assuming he's talking to his coworkers. Then he rolls his eyes, abruptly gets up and comes to the front and points at my sister and says, "I said come on"! That's when I tell him he will not be touching my sister at all. And I tell my little sis, we will wait for another technician. He tells me ,"Thank you, Good!" Because of him, we will not be back. Nancy and Linda were nice though. My experience wasn't great but maybe it's about who you have. I had an appointment for a mani/pedi and was not sat down until over 30 min after my scheduled appointment. I had a feeling it was disorganized when I called since I had to ask the lady if she needed to write down my nAfter my pedicure I had to wait another 40 min until someone ele started on my manicure. I got do as I always do and have gotten there before. The woman seemed to be distracted by a million different things, mostly because she was on her cell phone a large portion of the appointment. She cut me once and apologized THEN DID IT AGAIN. My fingers are still throbbing and very uncomfortable today. The only reason I'm giving two starts is because I went there once before, right when they opened back up, and the girl did a much better job. I was still waiting a long time after my appointment was scheduled but the result wasn't painful like today. read more

TERRIBLE came in with my mother for fill and pedi Smh they lady that did mine could not polish it looked like my 8 yr old son painted them then when she did my fill I was asked to pay before she started she has missing spots where she did not put acrylic hang over spots where she put to much acrylic and didn't file it correctly I ended up asking for all the polish to be taken off and left after I already paid full price and was told it would not be refunded so I am now currently at forever nails where they are fixing it all never again will I go into that place!! Horrible customer service. The flamboyant nail technician that has the fake $10 bill on his desk is very rude and doesn't know how to treat his customers. I have liquid gel nails that were sculpted by another nail technician. Not only does he insult the nail design that my previous nail technician gave me by calling it outdated, but he also shaved down my real nail in attempt to fix a broke nail. I immediately said "ouch"! He knew what he was doing. Rather than soaking my nail, he decided to take a short cut even if it meant pain. He also broke my real nail by constantly bending it. I asked him to soak it twice and he finally did so. However he was rude. He said slammed the small glass bowl onto the table, poured some in the bowl, snarlingly said "here!" Then walked off. He rolled his eyes and walked past me at least 3 times. In the midst of this, I was on the phone. I asked my friend for other good shops in the area, because I was ready to leave this one. Out of nowhere, he appears, then proceeds to sit down and start working on my nails as if nothing ever happened. I told him that I'm okay and that I'll pay him $5 or however much for the service that he did do. He told me go and keep my $5. read more

The ugliest set of eyelash extensions i've ever gotten in my life. They basically burned my natural lashes off trying to take my old lashes off after all I asked for was a fill. The new "individuals" she pUt on look like a cheap strip of lashes from the beauty supply store. How do I start. First the pictures are completely different from the place. I thought I was going to one place but the directions sent me somewhere completely different. My fault I should have just grabbed the address off the picture and not Yelp! We come in and there is only maybe 3 people working. Once we say we are ant pedicures this old hag comes out pissed asf throwing towels on chairs like she doesn't want to do no work. She then proceeds to do my boyfriends feet and starts digging one of the tools into his toes to where they start bleeding. When he tells me I look over and you can tell she is angry and doesn't give two fucks about her customer. She basically rushes the whole pedicure instead of taking her time. "Buyer beware". This was the first time I had been to this salon andthe overall appeal was nice, but a little sterile. I did not get anything done myself although I was there to treat my younger cousin. She went in for the classic nails manicure after taking off her acrylic nails, but was charged for the spa and only had a clear coat nail polish. As I sat waiting for her to finish her manucure every person in the salon asked and badgered me to get my nails done. This was way too much and iverkill for a slow Tuesday afternoon. Then they proceeded to gossip in their language,but referenced thungs we has picked out or decuded for her manicure in English, such as clear coat, shellac, or acrylic. I went here today to get my nails done, dip powder....the guy doing my nails started putting color on my nails and I questioned him asking what about the base coat? He said he doesn't do base coat for short nails. I always get dip powder and always had the base coat. He was just being lazy. I've been here once before. My services have been fine. I get a French tip full set. However the woman who did my nails (not sure of her name but she sits right in front of the sink on the right side of the set of stations) was rude. I told her I wanted square and short but not too short. She was like well that's medium I was like ok medium then. She continues on to do them and then once she does the acrylic starts to file. I tell her they're too long and I thought they'd be shorter. She cops an attitude and tells me I have "fat" fingers so the nail needs to be longer so it looks proportional. First off I always have my nails short because I work with kids. And never have I had an issue getting them filed down a bit more because they were too long. She charged me for a $3 cut down to file them down only a little bit more. They nickel and dime you to death and I don't appreciate it. read more

They have great customer service, affordable prices, and they always make sure that you're happy with your service. I always go to Sue. She is so sweet, really fun and does a fabulous job on all services (manicures, pedicures, eyebrows, eyelfull set etc.) She makes coming to the nail shop fun and she is conversationalist. DON'T COME HERE!! This place looks nice but don't be fooled. That staff is clueless and inexperienced. I was there 4 hours for a gel manicure and a pedicure. I was sitting in the pedicure water for 30 mins waiting. The nail tech took forever to complete my pedicure and rounded my toenails (did not ask) and then I left without my gel nails bc he literally started over 5 times and clearly didn't know what he was doing. The nail polish was bubbling and gross. The application of the gel was horrible. They tried to make me stay so they could fix it but I left AND they still made me pay for my subpar pedicure after being there that long. I left very unsatisfied and will never go back!!! read more
