Going to a Christmas bar is nothing but exciting. Went on a Monday so the wait wasnt long at all, ideal location, nice decor & great waiters. However the drinks are overpriced for what they are and so is the food. Overall nice experience, i will probably go next year but it's definitely a place where i go ONCE a year and im good. read more

This is a dream come true. This place is soooo beautiful that I didn't want to leave. For all those people missing out on some holiday cheer, drop everything and go to this pop up bar. When you walk make sure to stop for a second and admire everything around you. They've done a fantastic job making it look like Santa's factory. This is not such a big place so come earlier if you'd like to grab a seat. They have fixed priced drinks at $16 (yes, pricey) some of which are served in cute Christmas mugs/glassware. They also have a food menu. I would definitely go again before it closes. I wish they had better nonalcoholic drinks. I had a eucalyptus ginger drink which was just awful that I couldn't finish it. My coworkers ordered a cheese/meat platter. It was very large which was very much enjoyed. The best part... some proceeds will be donated to the children's hospital! read more

I went there with a friend, we got in line around 7:45 and finally got seated around 9pm because the host at the entrance forgot us multiple times. He made up for it by offering two shots which was appreciated but then the service inside and the prices were definitely not worth the waiting. The bar opens a 5pm and at 8pm it has already run out of two dishes on their 7 dish menu. The burger was 12$ and doesn't come with a side, it's okay but not worth the price ! The service was very slow and not very pleasant. They have beers but it's not on the menu which I feel is not very honest because they only have 16$ cocktails on it, which makes you believe that it's all they have. I guess you could go share a cocktail to experience the place but definitely not worth all the hype ! read more

I am the little kid that won't shutup about this place. I LOVED the pop miracle Bar in Old Montreal. Everything about it screamed Christmas. The hanging ornaments, frosted winter lights, wreaths, wrapped gifts, candy canes galore...what a magnificent winter wonderland! The icing to this treat: Coldroom & El Pequeno opened this place. The drinks in that case come with a 16$ + price tag but you are paying for quality drinks. I had the Run run Rudolph that was made of Citadelle Gin, Mulled wine Puree, Lemon and Prosecco- DELICIOUS! You can also buy cute little souvenir mugs and glasses for also which I am a sucker for. Head over to this place for the holidays- guaranteed to lift your Christmas spirits ! read more

The reviews of Miracle bar were pretty accurate. My friend and I love everything about Christmas and were super excited to check out the Miracle bar, despite the bad reviews. As we walked up to the bar on a chilly Tuesday night we noticed a line up outside. We went in to check it out and see how to put our names down on the wait list. As we walked into the vestibule we asked the girls walking out about their experience and all 3 of them had only negatives reviews. Burger was horrible, drinks didn't taste great and were over priced. Despite all that, the inner child in us wanted to see this magical miracle bar! As soon as we walked in and got a view of the place we were in awe and just taking it all in, but were then caught off guard by the rudeness of the hostess, who told us to go back outside. We thought she was referring to the vestibule area, were she would take our names down. But she was literal! She quickly took our names, told us its a 30min wait and again told us to stand "outside". She didn't even let us put our hats and gloves on as she ushered us out into -20C! Talk about rudeness!! At least give us the chance to put our hats and gloves back on!! That's where we both decided to ditch the place. If the hostess was that rude then we weren't interested in what awaits inside. Thankfully we stumbled upon El pequeno and had a more intimate experience but still everything that the Christmas spirit has to offer. The wait at the door is not too surprising considering the nature of this bar. It's popup bar only open for a few weeks so I understand the hype. What was disappointing was the drink and the food. I had the Bad santa drink which was barely alcoholic and very small for it's price. I ordered a Shepard's pie which was dry and underseasoned. Quite a let down. We had to wait only about 20 minutes for a spot for a group of 8 and the host was very nice. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the eggnog (16$). The drink was quite small - we joked about how it was almost the size of a double shot. It was absolutely delicious though! Regardless, the decorations and ambiance were amazing. We went for one drink and moved on to somewhere more affordable. Would recommend for the sake of the decorations and Christmas themed bar but not a place to get a good buzz going. read more
