I have had many opportunities to get to know different audiologists. However, it was only after being visited by Dr. Judenie Raphael around 3 years ago, which I learned about the great difference an audiologist can make and the impact they have on one's hearing quality. She is empathetic and wants to make things better for her patients and at the same time very clear about what she can and can't do. She explained the causes and different treatments available. After my hearing was tested, we tried couple of hearing aids, each for at least one week until I picked the device which I was completely satisfied and thrilled with its performance. Since then, I have been visited by Dr. Raphael every 3 months for follow ups. Being a busy physician with an overwhelming agenda myself, Dr. Raphael has always been accommodating towards my schedule and surprisingly has even seen me after hours. As a Dr. who totally understands and recognizes a superb quality of care for patients, I recommend Dr. Raphael without reservation. She is smart, professional and reliable. Dr. Raphael has always kept up with technology and constantly striving for what is next in line.

She had to return the hearing aids, so now the company wants her to prove the purchase with a bank statement. They have what are called audit tapes from daily sales and could easily look it up THEMSELVES. My sister went at the same time, but they didn't require HER to pay up front. I've seen people take advantage of the elderly too much & it sickens me. The biggest issue is that they got $2500 from the insurance company and unless they return it, my mother can't get more hearing aids.

Having a great audiologist is very important in getting the most out of your hearing aids. The…read moreAudiologist here, Lisa Wellham has a talent for tuning in hearing aids and she adds great value to the hearing instruments that are purchased here. Valerie is always excellent. The hearing aids sold here, "Phonak", are excellent and they are rugged. I've had a set of Phonak for three years, ho problems. I'm in for the annual, no charge hearing check. Update 7/2019: Tried out the new premium rechargeable. Amplification more realistic. Superior bluetooth functions. Much improved tinnitus therapy and I loved the way that Lisa tuned them right is, canceling out my tinnitus while the tinnitus therapy white noise was barely noticeable. The rechargeable capability works flawlessly and without the replaceable battery door, the hearing aid body looks weatherproof. Streaming through bluetooth works almost flawlessly, sound quality is excellent. When getting in my car, bluetooth seamlessly transfers to my car's audio system, and when I get out of my car, bluetooth transfers back to the hearing aids. There is a selector on my phone where I can switch the bluetooth to or from my hearing aids at will. When streaming music or podcast, pausing is simple via long press of the front button on either hearing aid. You can also answer calls via short press on the from button of either hearing aid. If you are suffering tinnitus, I highly recommend Phonak hearing aids with the tinnitus therapy. After suffering for years, I found immediate relief with the properly tuned in hearing aids and within a month tinnitus wasn't noticeable enough to make me upset anymore.
