Her exam using state of the Art Technology is thorough. She explains every step of the non invasive procedures. I felt no discomfort of any kind. Very glad I did this. Hearing can be a problem for people of all ages. Yes, she said my hearing was comparable to a 20yr old. Well, a 20yr old can have hearing problems. The condition can gradually progress affecting quality of life. I like good health/hearing of a 57yr old healthy individual. But, a 20yr old (If Healthy) Sounds great to me. As for my spouse. Yep, he passed. Guess, it's not hearing issue. It's listening. There is a difference. I'd like to sincerely thank Dr. Gilliom for her excellent care. And, Chandra her assistant. She's magnificent. May I add what a beautiful, modern and stylish office. I highly recommend Gilliom Audiology Professional Hearing Care.

There was a shining star among some pretty bad parts of my total hip replacement. Dr. Brett Fykberg…read morewas that star. First he really impressed us in our original meeting. Super nice, friendly, and smart about his field and what he thought was best for me. We talked about me and what I do, did, and want to with this body that I have beaten slap to death. Then we talked about him where he came from (local kid) and where he studied and did his residency. He was born and raised here and did his residency in the big apple at the best joint replacement hospital in the country. He chose the this particular hip contraption cause of what I want an need to be able to do with my life and work. I will say that everyone in this office was very sweet and helpful. They know I was in pain went out of their way to make me and the wife comfortable. Never being operated on before I was nervous and scared. Doc I guess felt that and comforted me. I will say that the surgery and before and after included and very good doctors visit. He told me how my old hip was and it wasn't pretty but the new one was all bright and shiny. He even wrote Go Gators on the probe in my leg bone. JK but I feel he would have if I asked. I just returned from our post op visit and I got my first look at my new hardware. I do know it has only been 13 days since I took possession of this hip it is working better and better everyday. I know it is cause of Dr Frykberg's talent. I will also say that he learned today that his one guilt pleasure is Maple Street Biscuit Companies food so you know what I did? Yep the office had breakfast on me this morning and will every time I return. He was genuinely happy when I returned with biscuits for him and his side of the office. I would very highly recommend JOI and Dr. Frykberg for anyone needing hip or knee replacement after all he is that good.

I had been referred here by Wolfson's Baptist for my daughters wrist fracture. Appointment was at…read more7:20 am for Xrays. Then the appointment with the Orthopedic Specialist was to follow at 7:40am. Xray was quick less than 2min then we were roomed. There was a lot of chitter chatter, laughing, talking in the hallway which is fine. What wasn't fine was the PA coming in almost an hour later, then the cherry was him conversing for about 1 min and we were sent on our way. I am considerate of running behind as they excused themselves for the long wait, but as a medical professional myself I could have easily stayed home. As I live 1 hr and 20min away. The wrist is healing accordingly and the splint wasn't even re-done as stated would occur in the ED. After he left and said he wanted to see her back next week for a possible hard cast (which I will ensure it to be just that to make the drive worth it) a tech came in to provide a very loud in volume tutorial on how to wrap coband. Like seriously?! I'm sorry I am not in elementary school. Honestly it has been a shame as the sick care system has evolved over the years. Appointments are no longer personal, just late staff no remorse for others time (as a patient if you are late to an appointment it's at the Dr's discretion to see you when you arrive) (if well past your appt time you'll more than like have to reschedule) yet they have all the liberty to waltz in at the time they see fit. The same standard should be held for them as well. Not a fan. It's also turned into a business how much un-necessary tests, procedures can be deemed necessary so insurance can be charged. I really wish my experience would have been better but I wasn't impressed. The other interesting part was I reiceived Xray results to the portal before the care team reviewed them, all while waiting for the tech. Not sure how that works, nonetheless if results were available the PA should have opened them there in the room, and went over them. To think I still have to come back is rather alarming.

When I told her that was downright evil to cancel a child's surgery over paperwork, she very apathetically said, "yes ma'am." Two stars because we see Nemours for other specialties but it's all the same--Nemours denied care to my child across the board during the great insurance debate all while sending me a letter stating they cared about my child. I even offered to pay cash for my child to be seen and was told I could not do so. Nemours suggested I call my insurance and apply pressure to get them to settle instead. Insane.
