What prompts me to write a review today is an experience with the amazing Audiology Assistant, Kirsten Compton. Saturday morning, the receiver on my right hearing aid stopped working. All the buttons worked, as I could tell from the left side, but no sound came out on the right. Normally, I'd just call them Monday. But this is a Monday when I am leaving for a 3-week international trip. In desperation, I send an email to the clinic. Within a few hours, Kirsten calls me and 20 minutes later, I'm in the office on a Saturday and she replaces a faulty wire. Plus, she gives me backups to take with me on my travels. This above-and-beyond support typifies my experience over many years. With people like Kirsten and Dr. Limb, who listens and is a miracle worker at finding just the right adjustment to make my hearing aids be their most effective, I rely on their whole team. Even on an ordinary day, from the quality of care to the caring, upbeat vibe of the office, I highly recommend them.

She said "he was the best I've ever been too." My mom is profoundly deaf without hearing aids and has been since her 50s. She has visited numerous hearing aids centers over the decades, last most recent being Costco. Accompanying her to her appointment, I saw first hand the respect and professionalism Zach has. He knew how to engage my mom without embarrassing her because she needed a little more support in the process. His evaluation of her current hearing level was outstanding. I've never experienced that with my mom's other providers. When it came to the 'selling' of the hearing aids themselves, there was no pressure, simply a description of each type of device, how it would benefit her, and even what he wouldn't recommend because the device would be more than she needs in her life. The entire experience was great. I (and my mom) highly recommend Better Hearing Center and especially Zach!
