THE BLACK AND WHITE: This was our second to last winery before we called it quits for the night. We came in wanting to try some more okanagan pinot noirs and we got them! They gave us a sparkling pet nat to try as we were walking in which was nice. The pinot noirs here in the classic tasting were alright. One was very light and the other was heavy and leathery. For bonus pours, we tried their late harvest riesling which had that petrol taste profile that I weirdly like. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Great staff and service, however the wines were alright. A tasting was $10 for four pours. Very affordable and would recommend to try at least once.

Our fifth and final stop of the evening was to check out Sperling Vineyards. They're a 100%…read moreorganic, family run winery that's been around for close to a century. We dropped in on a Friday evening with 6:30pm reservations. There's a heritage room and a couple small tables outside to do tastings. We did ours in the latter. Service was incredibly friendly and sweet. Tasting fee varies ($10.00 to $20.00) based on four flight options but each includes three pours. We opted for the classic ($10.00). It's also worth mentioning that only $5.00 of the fee goes toward a bottle purchase. - 2017 Organic old vines pinot - a blend that was light in flavour. - 2016 Old vines riesling - 2018 Organic pinot noir - smokey and medium tannin. - 2020 Organic ruby pet nat - we were given a bonus sample. This was actually one of their natural wines we were hoping to try. Turned out to be our favourite. A touch fizzy and notes of blueberry. We debated getting a bottle ($30.00). Decent wines at SV but we enjoyed the organic wines more out in West Kelowna.

Made same day reservations for a weekday tasting (3:15pm); super informative and engaging. Friendly, welcoming vibes with two dogs. Tastings are $10.00/person for 5 pours but waived with a bottle purchase. All their prices ($19.50 to $33.50) include taxes and deposit. - 2022 Bright idea - bubbly on the drier side - 2022 Siegerrebe - rare to find as a single varietal. Good mouth feel with notes of tangerine. We bought a bottle ($19.50) - 2021 Chardonnay - not your typical chardonnay. Light with good minerality - 2022 Pinot noir - a touch acidic with cherry - 2021 The pull - smooth, not too tannic - 2021 Malbec ($32.00) - bought a bottle as don't see malbecs often. Supposed to be medium body with blackberry Great slightly off the beaten path winery.

Parking is weird as you have to park next to the building but there's no dedicated parking spaces. THE BLACK AND WHITE: Driving up, it was weird not having a place to park the car, so we just parked at the side of the building. The dogs are nice and playful around the property. Heading into the winery, we had these cute lil wine glasses and the tastings were 5 pours. There were a few grapes that I didn't recognize like the Siegerrebe, but was actually pretty decent. The pinot noir and bubbly was great. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall the damage done for 2 tastings was $20 CAD. Lots of experimentation here and I'm onboard for it.

The winery features unique 3D artwork, with designs printed directly onto the wine bottles, making them feel extra special. There's also an art gallery on-site that shares the story behind each piece, explaining how the art is created. They also welcome you even you are just visiting and want to enjoy the 3D art without getting any wine. The staff provided us with 3D glasses so we could enjoy the paintings with a 3D effect. I was already excited as I walked around the tasting room and decided to try a wine tasting. We tried the Rosé, Woops 2022, Gewurztraminer, Wolf Song, and Phoenix. Our most favorite was Woops 2022, then, Phoenix which we purchased. The Woops wine label is designed upside down, which is really fun, and it tastes great too. Phoenix was full-bodied and tasted really good. I also liked the Gewurztraminer for its well-balanced fruit flavors and sweetness, and the Wolf Song for its buttery taste. We also purchased their original wine glass. This winery is really fun, and I will definitely visit again.
