We spent everyday by the pool closest to Mio. We ordered something everyday from Mio lol.
So, the bar technically opens at 10am and food starts at 11am. They never seem to be quite set up by those times but they're usually close.
Mio has a sushi station right there in the bar. The Mio servers walk around or you can swim up. The Nigiri Avocado Rolls are excellent: Simple, clean, and light.
Off the other menu, we enjoyed the grilled fish tacos. They run about $15 for 3 and were quite good. The guacamole and chips comes with a side of salsa too, which is a good extra. This was one of our go-to Mio Pool snacks. They do charge you for extra chips and you'll probably need them because they have ample guacamole and salsa for them.
Drinks: The Pineapple Mojito (it's actually blended) was a favorite, along with her Pina Colada. The Banana Bo-Tai was a close second at Mio. We ordered a liter of Bai bottled water each day because it gets hot and we didn't want to get knocked out by dehydration. Nah, for real, it gets hot lol.
The Mio staff is pretty friendly and attentive.
Final Word: Good food, cool drinks, and conveniently located by our pool of choice. read more
