Best restaurant ever. Food. Service. Mood. It was really great!!!! Ambiance. Cabo Mexico giving sushi!!!

Wish I knew

Terrific food and service! It's tucked into a small shopping center Airy and bright My guest and I had enough food to take back to the hotel.

Chilitos appetizer

This sushi place is right in La Comer shopping center. We ordered several things from the menu including Tuna Spicy Poke, Crispy Octopus Roll, Hangover Roll, Chilitos and two cucumber aguas. For the most part everything was fresh and delicious. The rice was good but the tuna was a bit grainy, but still good. The Cucumber aguas were the best! The Octopus roll was not my fave and the fried octopus was tough. I really enjoyed the Hangover Roll until I noticed that the shrimp was not cleaned! That was a huge downer, especially since it's served raw. Service was great! Food came fast. The environment is upbeat, good music playing, recommended. Please just clean the shrimp next time

Management changed used to be my favorite sushi place in San Jose del Cabo , Hot sake is served in a glass wine , impossible to share with others Flavors like Mexican food in seaweed rolls Ambiance is not unorganized , average food , not the same it used to be Not coming back

This is my usual go to spot for fresh seafood. I always order the following: -Tuna tostada: over a creamy guacamole base, the cubed fresh tuna literally melts in your mouth it's a no brainer for me. -Stuffed peppers: they're somewhat Spicy white peppers filled with cream cheese and your choice of crab or shrimp. With a drizzle of sweet eel sauce. It's like an elevated jalapeño popper. Along with there are a variety of curiously confected asian flavored influenced "tacos" from their new menu which changed maybe a couple of months ago? Service can be spotty but that won't stop be from going back; this place even recommends reservations because it can get packed on the weekends.

had the worst experience with the meal. The fish was bad, even though they claimed it was the catch of the day. They charged us for it, and to make matters worse, the server was very rude.

This place was a little gem we found tucked in the plaza by the LaComer. It is nicely decorated and appeared very clean and new. All the sushi rolls we had were freshly prepared, and service was good. Three of us ate for about $50 USD and we were stuffed. Service was good, but the house cold sake was bleh. I'd recommend getting something else to drink. All in all, i'll be coming back here next time in town.

Stopped in for lunch before shopping at la comer. Spicy tuna poke bowl, tuna ceviche con mango, and roca taco's were delicious and very nice portion size. Prices were great too! Definitely recommend if you need a break from resort prices

Who comes to Mexico and wants sushi? Yupp, we were craving sushi! read the reviews, and thought we would give Mexican food a break, and this seemed like it was pretty good for sushi. It was actually terrible. We ordered 4 rolls of sushi, although the presentation looks amazing, the taste was bad. The best thing was the miso soup. The service wasn't good either. Our waiter, couldn't even crack a smile.. he was rude. They also don't accept American Express which sucks. What I learned on my trip.. is that if I'm in Mexico, I need to stick to Mexican food.

I'm a local in Cabo, I live here and I work here. I write in English in order for the tourist to come, they can see good reviews of places nearby in San José. At first, like another review says, I wasn't really expecting anything spectacular from a place near a market place, usually the places tend to me just "meh" and nothing else. Actually, I know about this place thanks to my Boss. We work in the Spa/Hotel Industry and from time to time we get very busy and we lose the time to actually go and have some lunch with our co workers. The day I got to taste Kane was like that, my boss and I were extremely hungry like you have to idea. My boss ordered food to go. We took more time getting to order than when they arrived with our food at the Spa. I'm very boxed minded when it comes to food, I don't like to experiment, if I liked something I will stick to it forever and I won't be trying anything new, it's not my style. But I was starving and I thought to my self "Why not?" My boss ordered a Ebi Roll , that is just a FANTASTIC ROLL! I'm allergic to shrimp but for that baby I wouldn't mind going to ER every time I get to eat it. Since that day I g almost every week and have my Ebi Roll and my Tuna Tar Tar. Word cannot explain the level of delicatessen that this place has. I absolutely adore the food and the service. It's a very clean place, it has a/c and the waitress are very friendly like. So, hopefully with this review someone will take a look at that place. If you do... try what I ordered. I will upload photos later on.

Meh...I wanted to like it but it wasn't that good. Being from Philadelphia and living in the New York area...two big resturant cities...I might be hard to please but here are my thoughts. There is a strong fish smell when you enter the resturant. I felt like that might have been a sign but...let's give it a go. The chairs and tables were tremendously dirty. The waiter wiped it off. After one swipe the wipe cloth was covered in dirt. Ordered an assortment of semi familiar dishes. The sushi rolls were smothered in all types of unknown sauces, they were mostly rice, very thin/little seaweed and bland. Adding ginger, wasabi and soy sauce helped....A LOT. The teriyaki stir-fry dishes saved the dinner. They were not bad. Lastly my son ordered chicken yakitori. It was breaded with a coconut breading. Looked delicious, tasted awful. Rancid. Some restaurants deep fry and heavy sauce to cover the smell of bad meat but it didn't work! Smelled & taste awful. Skip this resto on your trip to Cabo! Most mention the service was spectacular!

Ok I'm from Houston, TX and am very spoiled with the best sushi restaurants around town. This place would rank at the bottom of my list. Prices are the same as if you were eating in the US and service isn't the best. The food looks good but doesn't taste fresh or quality. The location is convenient and there is free parking out front, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend this spot for sushi. The rice wasn't cooked right and the meat tasted old. I didn't even finish half of my food because of the odd taste.

muy bien! Ate here for the first time tonight and had a hand roll "cone" with tuna, salmon and masago. The tuna was perfect and the rest was all good as well and huge! Also had a suno mono salad with pulpo as well as seaweed. it was great as well. wish I had been more hungry. Hope to be back. friendly service too.

Our personal concierge recommended it & helped to make a reservation (recommend to do so). The quality of the fish & dishes was superb. I intended to try the Sawara (Spanish Mackerel) to determine how legit this place. The Chutoro was definitely my favorite. The other dish was striking for me was Zuke Maguro Don (like, Poke Bowl) -- so delicious. I like tempura so I also got the Ten Don Bowl, with a soft boiled egg, this plate was sensational. I enjoyed the Haiku beer (Rice beer), it went well with the meal. The other beer was Lupulosa (IPA). These are brewed from Mexico, and they are good. If anyone are into sushi, this should be a good start to start. I am sure there are other good places, but my first impression for Los Cabos is here. The one thing I missed was the fresh (chopped) wasabi, which I asked for, but due to Covid, it's currently unavailable. The staff was super nice & friendly. Thank you for a great dining experience.

It's right outside by the main pool, built like a "nest," which gives it such a unique and memorable vibe, especially at night. Definitely one of the coolest dining setups I've experienced. Service was great the entire time. Attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel smooth and relaxed. As for the food, everything we ordered was amazing. We went with the gyoza, oysters, jumbo shrimp, prime NY, jumbo blue shrimp, toro and salmon nigiri, and a maguro roll. Honestly, not a single miss. Fresh, flavorful, and really well executed across the board. If you're staying at Viceroy, this is a must. Even if you're not, it's worth making the trip over just for dinner here.

The beef skewers would have been good if not slathered in a sickly sweet sauce. Now the part that pissed me off: we had the all inclusive meal plan. Over all this resort was mid let alone the mediocre restaurants. Will never be back. For an elevated luxury experience I much rather Garza Blanca resort and any of their restaurants.

We ordered a bottle of hot sake and two appetizers; soft shell crab and stuffed banana peppers. WOW. These were all wonderful. My hubby has never had soft shell crab and it won him over for sure! He was shocked at how much he liked it. The Chiles San Jose (banana peppers stuffed with fish and cream cheese) were the BIGGEST banana peppers we have ever seen! They have fresh tuna, cream cheese and seasonings and green onion. What a fantastic spin on basic crab Rangoon! Hubby got the Candido roll which didn't quite look as pictured but was absolutely delicious and had this savory flavor. The salmon roll was my pick because I love me some fish roe--which it had. I was a little disappointed that half of my rolls had no salmon but just avacado but seriously, it still was so good! Our bill was very reasonable ($103 USD before tip) but absolutely worth it and a lovely break from the resort food. If we return to Cabo--THIS SPOT will be on our list!
