    Table setting with Cocktails

Everything about this place was amazing! My wife and I ate here the first night during our stay at Palmilla and we both agreed it was one of best dining experiences we hav me had...maybe ever?! Staff: all around top notch. They're timing is great, they get your order and then leave you alone (very romantic ocean views from the window) and seem to check in at the perfect time. Table: we had a table up against a window over the ocean and it was a beautiful view.l of the waves crashing the shore and when it got dark you could see the lights along the coast. Having a great seat really helps the overall dining experience and this one was outstanding. Food: absolutely F-ing delicious. We had sea bass suviche (I know how meta! Ordered suviche at a restaurant of the same name lol), and edamame. We had the freshest yellowtail and salmon nigiri and even the rice was cooked perfectly! Some of the tastiest fish we've had in a long time. Also ordered an eel roll and a spicy tuna roll with soy paper (allergy to seaweed) and they were different than in the US. The fish is on the top/outside the roll and very generous cuts of fish for maki rolls...6 pieces each but pretty large and so so flavorful. We also had the jumbo shrimp tempura, which was like eating a tender delicious meat stick of the most perfectly fried shrimp you ever had! We were for sure shrimp-drunk. Desert: shared the Mochi ice cream and they also gave a few small pieces of green tea cake which were wonderful. I've cream was a good size for 2 to share and perfectly soft like butter to roll the spoon through without sliding the whole scoop off the plate. Drinks: Had 3 cocktails between the 2 of us and they were all delicious. What I liked is that all the cocktails were new/different from the other restaurants/bars on the property. Price: the Yelp page says $$$$, but our total was $275 (which included a 15% gratuity) and I felt that for the beautiful view, amazingly fresh fish, great portions, excellent service, and overall fine dining experience, this was not expensive. Summary: 1000% strongly recommend and can't wait to come back!

Best sushi I think I have ever had ! By far the most fresh fish I have tasted! The service was very great , we were very surprised by this dinner as we tend to be big sushi foodies. We didn't know what to expect but it was delicious! I suggest this place if you are sushi lover and want a delicious meal!

Hands down best sushi I have ever had! I got the spicy shrimp tempura roll and it was simply the best roll!! If you like shrimp tempura this is the roll to get! It tasted so fresh and their spicy mayo also went so well with it. 10/10 recommend. Atmosphere was amazing and live music!

If you are looking for an experience- come to Suviche. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary by dining at this gem of a restaurant. We started with Cocktails #1, #3 & #9. You will not be disappointed in #3- complete with its own smoke! Paired the cocktails with the yellow tail, followed by tuna tartare, then shrimp tempura, miso with chicken and then the hot stone with shrimp and rib eye... They also gave us complimentary dessert to complete the night. This was truly a memorable evening. Service was Devine.

    10 pc nigiri sushi!

The food, and especially the service, was exceptional! I recommend the nigiri - it's all to die for. Also, the white truffle yellowtail and the jalepeno yellowtail is amazing - order it! The nigiri 10 pc @$39 is a bargain. Also, the miso soup is super expensive at $10, but if it isn't the best miso soup you've ever had, I'LL pay for it! Enjoy!

Honestly I expected more from such a high scale restaurant. The menu is very expensive (well, yeah you are at the Palmillos after all), but the amount and quality doesn't seem to justify it. The service is great though, and they make sure you taste and like the wine before you commit to a GLASS of it! Doesn't even have to be a bottle. The chefs special was the tuna belly; 2 pieces of your choice of nigiri or sashimi (3 slices for sashimi or 2 nigiri) for $12. We also got the ceviche (salmon with sesame) $18 but I thought the sesame overpowered the salmon and the chips were too thick. The sushi roll we got was ok but it was a bit too salty for me even without the soy sauce. Honestly the best part of this meal was the service and wine. The tuna belly was delicious as well but too pricey for only 3 slices. The complimentary dessert was such a nice surprise though!! The sesame macaroons were DELICIOUS. omg. The orange chocolates were bit too sour.

    Tuna & Watermelon Sashimi

The sashimi here is do fresh! We really enjoyed our dinner here. The hamachi cubes and tuna with watermelon were sooo good! The rolls were really clean and fresh as well. I'm a sushi and sashimi lover, so I would definitely return!

Hot stone rib-eye was wonderful. They give you six pieces and it is a must have here !

Wonderful food. Wonderful service I definitely suggest coming to this restaurant if you are staying at the One and Only, it's better than the stupid steak restaurant which is in the same building but next door-- service was impeccable and I will come again! If you are a foodie like me you will understand.

From top: Seared Yellowtail, Seabass & Pecan, Tuna & Curry Nigiri. Get all of them!!

The grounds are stunning -- peaceful, lush, and effortlessly cool -- with the perfect balance of elevated resort vibes and warmth. What makes it even more special is that Acre also operates an animal rescue, helping save dogs from the streets and even arranging adoptions around the world. We legitimately almost adopted one while we were there. The entire culinary concept is organic farm-to-table, and you can truly taste the difference in every dish. Everything felt intentional, fresh, and incredibly well executed. Food highlights: - The mixed beet salad was hands down the best beet salad I've ever had in my life. - The crispy rice bites are a must order. - The catch-of-the-day ceviche with soaked jicama and green apple was phenomenal and one of the most unique, well-balanced ceviche preparations I've ever had. - Steak tacos were fantastic. - The tomato tartare with fresh and sun-dried tomatoes, light aioli, and crackers completely surprised us -- insanely flavorful and memorable. Cocktails were equally impressive: - Sips & Beets (my fav. I love beets & I love mezcal. Didn't think they would go, but had to try. It's outstanding!) - Margarita independente was my other fav - Guayabita - Espresso martini made with tequila And beyond the food, the hospitality was next level. Executive Chef David personally stopped by our table, chatted with us, and after noticing me taking photos, gifted me one of the dried decorative corns from the property. Such a thoughtful, genuine touch that perfectly reflects the spirit of Acre. This was one of those rare dining experiences that feels magical from beginning to end. We'll absolutely be back (this will become a spot we visit every trip to cabo!)

We loved it so much we want to plan a trip to come back and stay in one of the treehouses. The entire place was just magical. I would highly recommend coming an hour before your reservation to walk around and visit the animals! There's horses, chickens, bunnies, dogs, cats, goats, etc! Seriously the best part of the trip. PS. Order an espresso martini! They make it table-side. Pairs nicely with the frozen key lime pie. Don't know how they do it but the crust is nice and chilly and the lime custard inside is soft. 10/10.

My girlfriends and I ordered four Mexican breakfast in different forms but they are just very clever ways of making tacos into breakfast items. I have recently remet up with my girlfriends who gushed about our breakfast expedition at this place. Everything was wonderful but the most pronounced characteristic about this breakfast menu is how something so simple can taste this good. The concept is easy to replicate - taco with bacon and eggs make is breakfast and not lunch but the execution is difficult to pull it off at home because you can't get the ingredients as good as here, plus the avocado is way better Mexico. I took lots of photos about the food but I could not take the ceviche or taco home. So I finally tried to replicate the breakfast taco recently at a friend's house and it was a total winner. Imitation is the best form of flattery. This restaurant is slightly out of the way but it is worth the short walk. On the way to the restaurant, we also found great massage place and a supermarket where I picked up some Kinder eggs for friends' children back in San Francisco. Four brunches, four drinks, several appetizers and two desserts set us back $75 for the four of us. What a steal! No wonder it took me weeks before I feel justified to eat out back at home again.
