The sushi was amazing, the staff was super friendly. The Washington roll was incredible. Spicy tuna, crazy roll and Akira rolls were also so delicious. Highly recommend.

Honestly the best place I have ever had in Cabo San Lucas!!Don't be afraid by the small atmosphere when the quality is amazing.Eduardo knows what he's doing!!

We were looking for a lunch stop on the way to airport leaving Cabo, my son found this place on Yelp and we decided to try it, was craving Japanese. Wow! It exceeded our expectations by a mile! Sushi was delicious and high quality. Service was great too! Definitely recommend it!

Fantastic food and service, honestly wasn't expecting much when we first walked in but everything about this place is great!

Walked from Westin resort to experience Mercado. Btw- there's no sidewalk and will suggest to ride the bus or take a cab. The side of the road have broken bottles or glasses. My husband ordered the sashimi for 147 pesos. Got disappointed with how it's presented and the cut of the salmon and tuna. It's very thin. But then again I guess it's our fault to order it here in Mexico.

Really fresh fish daily and the prices versus quality is beyond good. Highly recommended.

Nice, friendly and fast service. We come from Orange County, California so we used to the "best sushi" lol, Akira does provide very fresh local fish. Salmón was ok, not super fresh. It was a good spot for lunch, not super cheap place to eat. Presentation was ok.

Nice portion of Tempura, light and crispy!

This place is in the Merkato "food court" and they made some pretty amazing tempura! When we go to the Merkato we order something from a few places and sit at a table with our food. I LOVE tempura and theirs was so good! Light crispy batter and we got 8 pieces for around $8 USD - it came with sauces and rice. What a nice surprise to find some good tempura so close to the Westin where we stayed.

We're staying in Hampton Inn and decided to try Akira for dinner and I'm glad we did. The fish is fresh and the prices are good.

Our personal concierge recommended it & helped to make a reservation (recommend to do so). The quality of the fish & dishes was superb. I intended to try the Sawara (Spanish Mackerel) to determine how legit this place. The Chutoro was definitely my favorite. The other dish was striking for me was Zuke Maguro Don (like, Poke Bowl) -- so delicious. I like tempura so I also got the Ten Don Bowl, with a soft boiled egg, this plate was sensational. I enjoyed the Haiku beer (Rice beer), it went well with the meal. The other beer was Lupulosa (IPA). These are brewed from Mexico, and they are good. If anyone are into sushi, this should be a good start to start. I am sure there are other good places, but my first impression for Los Cabos is here. The one thing I missed was the fresh (chopped) wasabi, which I asked for, but due to Covid, it's currently unavailable. The staff was super nice & friendly. Thank you for a great dining experience.

It's right outside by the main pool, built like a "nest," which gives it such a unique and memorable vibe, especially at night. Definitely one of the coolest dining setups I've experienced. Service was great the entire time. Attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel smooth and relaxed. As for the food, everything we ordered was amazing. We went with the gyoza, oysters, jumbo shrimp, prime NY, jumbo blue shrimp, toro and salmon nigiri, and a maguro roll. Honestly, not a single miss. Fresh, flavorful, and really well executed across the board. If you're staying at Viceroy, this is a must. Even if you're not, it's worth making the trip over just for dinner here.

The beef skewers would have been good if not slathered in a sickly sweet sauce. Now the part that pissed me off: we had the all inclusive meal plan. The meal plan is not cheap and is like 1k more for a family of four than paying à la carte and yet they treat you like a leper if you have the meal plan!?! Make that make sense. Over all this resort was mid let alone the mediocre restaurants. Will never be back. For an elevated luxury experience I much rather Garza Blanca resort and any of their restaurants.

They had great music playing and the staff was sooo friendly and attentive! Though there was that language barrier, we were able to order everything with ease and clarity! We ordered a bottle of hot sake and two appetizers; soft shell crab and stuffed banana peppers. WOW. These were all wonderful. My hubby has never had soft shell crab and it won him over for sure! He was shocked at how much he liked it. The Chiles San Jose (banana peppers stuffed with fish and cream cheese) were the BIGGEST banana peppers we have ever seen! They have fresh tuna, cream cheese and seasonings and green onion. What a fantastic spin on basic crab Rangoon! Hubby got the Candido roll which didn't quite look as pictured but was absolutely delicious and had this savory flavor. The salmon roll was my pick because I love me some fish roe--which it had. I was a little disappointed that half of my rolls had no salmon but just avacado but seriously, it still was so good! Our bill was very reasonable ($103 USD before tip) but absolutely worth it and a lovely break from the resort food. If we return to Cabo--THIS SPOT will be on our list!
