I felt like she received pretty good care from the nurse and nurse practitioner that we saw. We didn't have to wait too long, and they were quickly able to rule out a couple of things. They ended up calling in a prescription for an antibiotic for us, which is really what I believed was all we needed before we went in there. One thing did seem a little odd to me, however. Even though a nurse had told us "a doctor will be in to see you shortly," a doctor never did see my daughter - only a nurse practitioner came by. Based on a web search after the fact, I discovered that in Ohio, a doctor is apparently not required to actually work on site at a medical facility, just be in some kind of contract with and do annual reviews of a nurse practitioner. Or something like that. The nurse practitioner can write some prescriptions. So I'm left suspecting that there was not even a doctor on the premises that evening, which makes me wonder why the nurse said that one would come see my daughter. At any rate, I'll be interested to see our part of the bill when it comes, to see how their services are listed out. It crossed my mind that maybe this is the new way of trying to cut medical costs, but I have my suspicions that this was still a very pricey visit.

So as my ankle got worse a week later I went to an actual foot dr and I have had a tier 2 tear in a ligament and a fractured Fibula. On top of that I couldn't even get ahold of my x-rays. Then after that aI get my urine culture results back and happen to know that certain antibiotics won't help this type of infection so I called no call back then I just made another appt so I can talk face to face to the nurse practitioner. She tells me she just wants me to see my primary care doctor in the morning and refused to change my antibiotic even though I'm just feeling worse. I will never go back here again. I feel like she just thought I was some crazy elderly woman. The thing is ai am a retired nurse and know about medications.

However, before I saw the doctor I got stuck with a medical student which made the whole visit really slow-as a medical student was abnormally thorough which took a long time. That's my only complaint that it took- a long time... The medical student was super nice The doctor came in shortly after we discussed my displeasure with OSU central scheduling as there should've been no reason that I had to come in as my primary had asked me to just call in and ask for the script because I had an appointment for the same condition about four or five days prior and we were just trying to avoid antibiotics but felt they might be necessary and if they were to CALL in . Well, my body didn't cooperate and I needed antibiotics however central scheduling insisted that I pay a co-pay and see a completely different doctor which was so stupid. It is the only reason why I am a star from this review was the offices reliance on this ridiculous policy of central scheduling. Other than that issue Ive had two good trips in to this office with two different providers. i recommend the place

Differentiating seasonal allergies from a viral URI is often difficult and not always clear-cut. It's also not all that important to differentiate between the two in an urgent care setting. The treatment either way will be supportive and largely the same (e.g., antihistamines, decongestants, corticosteroids).

What to consider if you are younger and looking for Crossfit type classes: there are a mix of classes, including spinning, but as the demographic skews older you may not find the intensity you are looking for, but do check. It also does cost more than a Planet Fitness (but considerably less than a LifeTime Fitness.) I do wish they would upgrade the locker rooms, they are fine but are showing their age--this includes the state of the towels. You have to do a fitness assessment as a pro forma thing when you start. It's not really a pass/fail so that is cool at least. It's not particularly useful but it's required. I ended up getting a guy who was pissed about a schedule error and was kind of rude so perhaps my perception of the experience is tainted. But hey, that's really the only bad thing I have to say.
