I I called the Wards Road location and they told me to come. Over the last four years I've had to go for breathing treatments several times for Asthma. This night, I was provided excellent service by the PA Robert. He spent a lot of time with me giving me treatments, going over my symptoms and explaining in detail what was occurring during these attacks. Going through an asthma attack can be very scary and it's very calming to know that I can get help when I need it. Everyone in the Wards Road office from the front door to the nurses was so friendly This Wards Road location is very far for me as I used to go to the Lakeside Drive office. I was out of work from January 10 through January 22 and simply asked for them to give me a letter stating that I was sick during that time so I could use short term disability to save a few days sick leave. I am 54 and have never used short term disability in my life. They totally screwed everything up regarding this and only cleared me through 1/18 and then refused to correct their mistake. Dr. Armock - the hospitalist she saw most frequently during her stay - was unfailingly kind, clear, and empathetic, and provided a goals of care conversation that gave her the clarity she needed to move forward with her decision, as well as gentle daily humor she looked forward to. Every encounter with staff, from unit manager to nurses, CNAs, to housekeeping, was professional, kind, and competent. Our mom had great care and was able to transition seamlessly to home hospice and die peacefully at home just over 3 weeks later.
