I came into this emergency clinic feeling extremely distressed, anxious, and emotional due to…read moreshortness of breath and an illness I couldn't quite explain. I had previously visited another ER a week prior where I was diagnosed with something mild, but I knew something wasn't right so again after my symptoms flared up again I decided to visit this Family Emergency Room in Georgetown. From the moment I arrived here, the experience was completely different in the best way possible. I was taken to the back in a timely manner, within 15 minutes of arriving, which was a stark contrast to other emergency rooms where I've waited hours, even while struggling to breathe! The receptionist immediately recognized the urgency of my situation, brought a nurse out to assess me, and ensured my emotional response was met with compassion and I was taken back quickly. Every staff member I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They listened carefully to my symptoms without rushing or dismissing my concerns, which is unfortunately something I've experienced elsewhere. I never felt like I was just another patient being pushed through a system. Instead, I felt heard and treated like a person who truly mattered. Within a short amount of time, they were able to properly evaluate, diagnose, and begin relieving my symptoms. Their efficiency, combined with their thoroughness, made a huge difference in my care and comfort. This clinic also offers testing capabilities that many other facilities do not and accepts a wide range of insurance plans, which is incredibly helpful. Dr. Valentini was especially helpful, professional, and reassuring throughout the entire process. I am beyond grateful for the level of care I received and would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone, no matter how minor or severe their symptoms may seem. I am confident they will provide the proper attention, compassion, and treatment you deserve!!

It's weird to love an ER this much. Here is why this place is the best:…read more -They operate like a full-service emergency room and are federally required to be treated as in-network for all *eligible* visitors (must actually be an emergency visit). Their billing person confirmed this. Their website has a lot of info about the billing process as well. -They are flexible and will work with you to negotiate your dues to get the accounts closed out. I was stressing about the bills but their super nice billing lady helped us out. -Open 24/7. I looked at other options that were technically deemed in-network for my insurance plan and some were closed on Sunday. One of our visits was on Easter too. Why even bother with another ER when this place will bill in-network anyway? -Amazing nurses and doctors. Everyone is really nice and patient and takes great care of you. We've been there 3 times since November. Twice for my little guy (he was 1 during our first visit). Nurses and doctors were so nice and patient with him (and he definitely screamed a lot). -It's never crowded or full of sickly people. Not sure if that's a sign they don't have enough business though? PLEASE GO HERE SO THEY DON'T EVER SHUT DOWN. -Easy parking. -There's a cemetery next door which leaves a chance to make a morbid joke upon your departure.

Baylor, Scott & White requires you to…read moreschedule appointments months in advance, but then like clockwork they'll call two weeks before to reschedule. It's incredibly frustrating and completely defeats the purpose of planning ahead. Even when you do manage to make it to an appointment, be prepared to sit in their waiting room for 20+ minutes surrounded by people on their phones on speaker, with no staff attempting to create a comfortable or professional environment. The final straw for me was during my annual physical. I asked a straightforward question about HRT, and my doctor actually snapped at me, saying: "I don't do well woman appointments." Completely unprofessional and genuinely shocking to hear from someone who is supposed to be providing care. This place is disorganized, dismissive, and absolutely not worth the stress. I'll be taking my healthcare elsewhere.

My PCM will not prescribe some of the medications that I have used for years! I had to take migraine medicine that had been expired for 4 years the last time I had a migraine. There are many other issues that would take allot of time to discuss, but I would foremost like to warn everyone that BSW's employee time is much more important than your time.
