This sounded fantastic, so we started going to him. We have been seeing Dr. Sumner for several years now, and are super-pleased with the care Dr. Sumner and his staff provide to our large family. I have had many good dentists over the decades, but for me, Dr. Sumner has been the best. When I first started seeing him, I was definitely overdue for dental care. Dr. Sumner, in a very positive and helpful way, helped me develop a treatment plan. The plan called for a number of crowns, etc., and Dr. Sumner helped me make that plan work within my budget. I am glad to say that the procedures that were done were of sterling quality, and now my dental health now has never been better. More than that, Dr. Sumner and his staff take a genuine interest in me and my family as people. I have a good feeling every time I've been to his office. It's not just going to the dentist; it's like visiting with friends. Dr. Sumner's office is not only a friendly place; it is a very nicely-appointed and relaxing place, with nice, fresh, eye-pleasing décor. His office is also efficient. I have always been seen promptly, and I really appreciate that. I have children who are pre-teens, teens, and young adults. They all like Dr. Sumner and staff, and I have been very pleased with the treatment and preventative care they have gotten. But more than that, Dr. Sumner and his excellent hygienists have helped my children internalize good, daily dental health habits. They always brush their teeth and floss now; without us having to remind them. As a direct result of the influence of Dr. Sumner and his staff, very rarely do any of my kids get any cavities. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Sumner to anyone who might be looking for a dentist.

The staff assured me--100% guaranteed--that the doctor would take care of it. When I arrived, Dr. Singh immediately told me that his team had "misinformed" me and that he would not be prescribing anything. These are basic, standard prescriptions, that i've been taking for 10 years. I had sent them my medical records and doctor notes ahead of time. Not only was my time completely wasted, but I then received a $150 bill for an appointment where I was essentially bait-and-switched and left without the care I was promised. When I called to address this, the woman who answered the phone was shockingly unprofessional--talking over me, raising her voice, and treating me with outright disrespect. I've never dealt with a medical office that showed such little empathy, professionalism, or basic human decency. I rarely write reviews, but people deserve to know what they're walking into. This office is clearly more interested in billing than in providing actual patient care. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else.

I went here first to see if they had the proper equipment to treat me. Without ever signing in, they pulled the doctor from the back who advised me that the CAT scans at the hospital would be necessary. The doctor spent about 5 minutes talking to me, was compensated nothing for it, and did not rush me out the door which she very well could have done. If you feel the need to go to the ER, it is worth checking with Urgent Care first to see if you can save the time and additional copay that comes with an ER visit.

During my first visit I was prescribed an antibiotic that didn't help. When my symptoms continued, I returned and was prescribed a different antibiotic and asked to submit a stool sample. I dropped off the sample and then spent the next 10 days waiting for results while continuing to have significant symptoms. During that time I called the office at least four times. Each time I was told someone would call me back, but no one ever did. The only guidance I received was to drink more water, stop taking Imodium, and stop following the BRAT diet by avoiding bananas and applesauce. After 10 days and multiple follow-up calls, I was finally told that my stool sample had been lost or the results couldn't be obtained, and I was asked to come back and repeat the test. By that point, I had spent weeks feeling miserable while relying on the office for answers that never came. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of communication and follow-up was the most frustrating part. If you need treatment for a minor illness, this office may be fine. But if you have an ongoing or more complicated medical issue that requires follow-up, test results, and communication, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
