If I could give zero stars, I would. My entire experience with Dr. Singh and his team was an…read moreabsolute disaster from start to finish. I scheduled an appointment only after explicitly confirming with the staff that the doctor could refill my medications. I had just moved to Virginia from Florida on short notice to care for my mother after her heart attack, and I explained clearly that I didn't have a primary care provider here yet and urgently needed my routine prescriptions refilled. The staff assured me--100% guaranteed--that the doctor would take care of it. When I arrived, Dr. Singh immediately told me that his team had "misinformed" me and that he would not be prescribing anything. These are basic, standard prescriptions, that i've been taking for 10 years. I had sent them my medical records and doctor notes ahead of time. Not only was my time completely wasted, but I then received a $150 bill for an appointment where I was essentially bait-and-switched and left without the care I was promised. When I called to address this, the woman who answered the phone was shockingly unprofessional--talking over me, raising her voice, and treating me with outright disrespect. I've never dealt with a medical office that showed such little empathy, professionalism, or basic human decency. I rarely write reviews, but people deserve to know what they're walking into. This office is clearly more interested in billing than in providing actual patient care. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else.

When I arrived I was greeted with friendly staff that quickly processed my info and then was seen by Dr. Singh - he was excellent, knowledgeable, and good bedside manner. I was able to get an X-ray done, and Dr. Singh called me after hours to give me an update on the radiologist report. Overall fantastic experience, I will be going here again for any urgent care needs!

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL/ER!…read more We took our 3-year-old to the ER after he started vomiting from eating fish, and the experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. I understand ERs can get busy, but this felt extremely disorganized and unnecessarily time-consuming. 11:07 PM - We arrived and started registration. 11:15 PM - Our son was called back for initial screening (weight, blood pressure, oxygen level, etc.). 11:20 PM - We were sent back to the waiting room and told they were cleaning a room and it would be about a 15-minute wait. 12:10 AM - After waiting nearly an hour, we spoke to staff and explained that we had an infant and another toddler at home with a neighbor and needed to either be seen soon or leave. 12:15 AM - We were finally placed in a room, but the nurse informed us there was only one provider working that night and she could not give us any estimate on how much longer it would take to be seen. We explained again that we had other young children at home and could not stay indefinitely, so we decided to leave. As we were checking out, the receptionist asked if we had seen the provider yet since we had "just gone back." We explained the situation, and after speaking with the nurse, he told us the provider had already gone into the room but we were not there. 12:30 AM - We rushed back to the room, only to be told the provider had moved on to another patient because we weren't inside when he stopped by. 12:59 AM - The provider finally came in, listened to our son's lungs, checked his stomach, and said he seemed to be recovering well since he was sleeping comfortably. He told us he would provide a dose of medication for the night and discharge us. 1:00 AM - The provider left to get the medication and complete discharge. 1:15 AM - After another long wait, we asked the nurse what was taking so long. We were told the medication request was waiting on pharmacy verification. 1:30 AM - A nurse finally brought discharge papers and told us the prescription had been sent to our pharmacy for pickup the next day. We explained that the doctor specifically said he would give us a dose for the night before discharge. She apologized and said she would check with the provider. At 1:45 AM, after hours of waiting for what should have been a very quick visit, we were completely exhausted and left without the medication dose. I understand ERs prioritize critical patients first, but the communication, delays, and constant back-and-forth made this experience far more stressful than it needed to be -- especially with small children involved.

I've been going here for several years, to treat a persistent anemia, involving IV infusion of iron…read morewhen my levels get too low. Dr. Kula, my hematologist, is not only incredibly calming, but her problem solving resulted in me getting an actual diagnosis after many specialists and diagnostic tests showed no specific cause, despite how thorough the other specialists as. When I first went to Dr. Kula, I was frustrated and worried and she turned my worries around, telling me we would get a solution. She seemed attuned to me, kmoldgable about my case, and was incredibly efficient without me feeling as if I'd been rushed. After ten months of testing, I was so relieved to have an answer, and four years later, Dr. Kula still inspires my complete confidence. As we all know, the doctor is only a part of the process, but in this case, the entire staff, from front desk, to nurses, to techs, have all been fantastic. No huge delays in appointments. In fact, I think every single appointment has run a few minutes early. Questions and concerns are answered in detail, blood draws are painless (no, seriously!) and it is great that they have an in-house lab, so in the short few minutes between blood draw and appointment, the doctor has updated and to the moment red and white counts, etc. I've spent most of my time in the infusion center, since my iron replenishment is usually an all-day affair, and this has allowed me to meet some great folks, as well as being able to observe the flow of the infusion area. The infusion area is one big room, with a nurses' station at one end, several offices, including scheduling, I believe, scattered throughout. On one end of the room is a smalll kitchen area with soft drinks, animal crackers, and the like, for patients and caregivers alike. There are two bathrooms, very clean and well appointed. Patients and a caregiver for each, if the patient has brought one) sit across an aisle, and the chairs are close enough to foster communication, if desired, but far enough apart to offer a bit of privacy. There are several televisions suspended above each row, but I haven't seen them turned on at any time. There is a good selection of magazines, and also a bookshelf where you can take or bring a book to donate. There are mostly adult genre paperbacks (mysteries and romance). Most patients seem to be on their tablets during their infusions, utilizing the wi-fi, which is at perfectly reasonable speed for web surfing. As I haven't tried streaming on the wi-if, I can't comment on how that speed might be. The infusion center is sunny and pleasant, and the nurses are thoroughly and wholly patient focused. Nurses are assigned to a "row" of patients seated in chairs across an aisle from each other and the nursing staff freely offer an extra hand if several patients need assistance at the same time. The nurses in this section are so soothing, explaining every step of the process and how long each segment is expected to take. While side effects are mentioned, they aren't emphasized, and through the process, the nurses were always only a few short steps away. If you'll be there for some time, the center is very centrally located, with a large Wegmans grocery store a short distance away, among many other shops.

But this is not the case with Dr. Kula. She was very detailed and asked all kinds of questions about every line I answered on that form. I think we spent at least 30 minutes just talking. My first impression of her was great. She made me feel very comfortable and she answered all the questions I had. So far I haven't had any bad experience at this facility. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Kula if you're looking for a hematologist in this area.

Our children have been patients at two of the "top-rated" pediatricians as we've moved over the years--and this is the only practice where you're truly treated as a person, not just a number. If you're looking for speed and convenience, you can always go to an assembly-line pediatrician. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. That's not care--that's just billing insurance as quickly as possible. Sky Valley is the complete opposite. Here, they take the time to listen, assess thoughtfully, and treat your family like their own.
