I cut my finger, the cut was straight down no flaps of skin but it was deep and she said a stitch…read morewouldn't hurt to help it, she only numbed part of my finger for a single stitch and then said she doesn't want to waste the time to numb the other half since it'll take just as long to go grab another shot then to add another stitch she didn't think it would need but now wanted to add and didn't warn me till after the pain of the needling going through my finger without being numb made me almost pass out and I had to not move for several minutes due to blurry vision, thinking that was the worst of it She put the wrong sized stitches in and incorrectly and sloppy it was extremely painful when I originally rated the cut a 2/10 it became a 8-10 with stitches, once I got them removed it felt like instant relief of the pain but the skin around my cut has died and the wound is open and now there's flaps of dead skin, she used the wrong size structures and exposed my originally fully closed wound to air and now my finger has a hole in it which wouldn't of been there if I just didn't get structures and let it heal it self, I will forever be missing part of my finger and have a nasty scar due to it, will NOT be back

I've been back and forth with my sons insurance carrier for a card (we have NEVER received one) The receptionist this morning was miserable, told me she couldn't find any information on him (when the time that passed was barely 2 minutes) then when I asked about paying out of pocket she said "well it's like $199" so I'm like okay, I'll do that, to which she replied, but if you want us to submit it to your insurance it's actually $240. Well at that I just left. Not that I couldn't afford it, but I felt that she just couldn't be bothered any longer. So we left and went to the ED at Washington hospital, was in and out and they found his insurance information in literally 3 minutes.

What I do want to touch on, in the COVID era you do need to call from the parking lot to answer a few question prior to entering. Use that as a heads up, it'll save you some time. Check in was pretty swift, they helped quite a bit along the way. The wait was a bit much, but socially distancing in the waiting room was made less irritable by the television. The wait is a bit longer but for good cause. They are making sure that everything is cleaned after each patient. I was seen fairly quickly, suggested that I get an x-ray, which they did onsite. I was given a diagnosis, some guidelines on how to proceed, received some small equipment, and set up a follow up appointment. Everything went as smoothly as it could with all things considered.

Like I said , I thought this was a walk in service and she replied it is so as contradictory as she was I then replied with or is it because you close at 8 and don't want bothered... again her stuttered response because she knew her jig was up and I've often worked in medical field. I know how this works. She told me to come back in the morning. I will not be returning to that particular MedExpress and will be calling the corporate administrative office first thing in the morning This is not the only terrible experience I've had there. my last visit I sat in the office with only one other person /patient there and the entire staff was snacking having a little get together so I opened my door and asked when I was going to be seen bc I've been sitting for 45 minutes with no one to come in my room That lit a fire under an ass and I did get seen but with attitude and quick dismissal. Whether you are a nurse or a doctor, you take an oath to take care of your patients, not to be dismissive and shun away your patient . If that is the case, they need to either close the door or get new staff . I will be contacting administrative offices in the morning. So if you need to be seen quickly, my recommendations would not be this particular MedExpress !

From watching those being called sent through for exam, it didn't seem to matter whether or not you had an appointment or walk in. All seem to be put in a que for examination. It has taken over 2 hours to be seen, x-rayed and a consultation of the results. Up side the Staff is personable, down side what is with the online scheduling if it doesn't matter if you walk-in or show up at the scheduled appointment time?

I've been to my pcp and the hospital with debilitating symptoms for years and this was the only…read moreplace that listened. I was lied to for 7 years at my other doctors. They all said my labs were clear and claimed they had done a Lyme titer, but when I went to med express they did a comprehensive blood test and sent it to what I found out was the same lab as my doctor. The difference was that Med Exp had me download the lab's app and I could see my results... all of them! Turns out the pcp lied. I don't know why or if the pcp just never actually looked at my labs, but I now know they never actually ordered the lyme titer and my other results repeatedly showed hyperthyroidism and elevated levels indicative of an infection . Med Express called me when they got the results and saw from my past results that I've likely had Lyme for those 7 years and have definitely had hyperthyroid throughout that time (which can be caused by Lyme), which went entirely untreated and undiagnosed by the pcp. They ordered antibiotics and transferred my care back to my pcp.... Who has refused to see me for a follow up claiming they have "no evidence" that I have Lyme. (I checked, they were sent my results for sure.) I wish I could just go to Med Ex as my pcp.

Most of the poor reviews I read are from years ago. The group of folks they have there now are wonderful. I'll use them again if needed.

After wasting over an hour there, getting all my info faxed over, I did not want to have to go somewhere else. Nonetheless was forced to... she said she couldn't bill my employer (even with all the documents from my employer giving her consent to) and I needed to pay upfront. Amy is awful, she needs a performance review and LOADS of education. Coming from nurse administrator here, you should not have someone like Amy at the front desk. I went somewhere else and they read it within one minute standing at the front desk. For free!! They were extremely polite and went out of their way to help.
