As a fellow healthcare worker having experienced PCPs reading labs incorrectly, not doing a single thing during a physical,, misdiagnosing me when symptoms were very clear, having zero bedside manner disregarding pain and so on, it's a relief I no longer need to travel out of state to get decent healthcare. I just am terrified people will find out how phenomenal they are and their care model and make their wait times really long. I can only imagine they already have a rational solution if that happens unlike every hospital and practice in Pittsburgh. This city is a healthcare disaster and should learn from these two as to how to be real practitioners and provide good care instead of being pushed around by hospital management and insurance companies. I thankfully left healthcare, and though I miss the patients I knew our care was terrifyingly bad and dangerous. Sadly, I wish more people knew so they could fight for better healthcare. The nurse didn't seem to concerned and kept doing paperwork so the women at check-in went and found another nurse and she ran out and got my gf quickly. If I ever get this weight off, they're first I'm going to for skin removal LOL! The main complaint thought is definitely the front desk in the Park Manor associates side needing to be better about answering calls. I work front desk, I know it's possible and I've seen them improving drastically- it seems they replaced the old staff with people a little more thrilled for their job. My job is a hotel, the phone is constantly ringing, and I have a million other things to do. And I get paid a fart and a smile (basically nothing is the point), so I get their standpoint but I also question it and have gotten flustered with it because I find they get paid more and are always way less busy then my job- so I don't get the wait times. Coming in and seeing three on staff, one person just twiddling their thumbs, but the phone not stop ringing is a bit off putting. Overall though, through my frustration I stay with this office.

Daughter is deathly afraid of needles, and they were incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. They made a point of learning her, my, and her father's name. The staff patiently addressed her numerous questions, and reassured her at every opportunity she would "pull through" (it was only ankle surgery). Her room was immaculate, fairly spacious, and comfortable. They kept track of Daughter's own personal wheelchair we brought. and checked to make sure it was adjusted and working properly. We (her father and I) were able to track her on overhead t.v. monitors at all times. Immediately afterward, the surgeon, Dr. Macalus Hogan, came out to discuss Daughter's surgery privately with her father and I. I would highly recommend this facility.

We were told by the park ranger to go here. When we got here, there were two people standing at the front desk. There was a sign that said, "please wait here to get checked in." We sat there for about 10 minutes and no movement. We asked the people in line how long they had been standing there. They said they've been waiting for 40 minutes with no interaction with staff. Seriously? That is ridiculous. We ended up leaving and drove to the Garrett medical center and we were in and out with an X-ray in about 2 hours. I'm sure those two people were still waiting to be seen. This is how you help people? I don't think so.
