Dude should not be in customer service and obviously doesn't train his staff properly. Total A-hole. Spend your money elsewhere.** I had signed up for the monthly washes a few months ago. I picked the $35.99 package (One down from the top) and was very unimpressed as my car was still visibly dirty after the wash. I gave it a few more tries and still unhappy. So I went in today to cancel my membership. My card had just been charged yesterday. They cancelled my membership but refused to issue a refund even though it hadn't been used. They say the request a 4 day notice. I could understand if THEY GAVE a 4 day notice before charging for the month but they don't do that. They told me I could use for the rest of the month but I don't want to since the wash is crap. And even more so now since their customer service matches. read more

So I went to a self cleaning car wash and pressure washed my truck before coming here. Was lightly off-roading in mostly dirt(not mud) but knew an automatic car wash wouldn't clean that. After only pressure washing(didn't use the brush), I went to Mint one day later. I've been to better car washes, but they are in Arizona. First-- lots of water left on my truck after blowers Second- lots of missed spots on doors, near side mirrors and on windows. Third- having the employee smoking spot right near where people are cleaning their cars wasn't a smart idea Vacuums and towels were good. Not the best and not the worst. My car came out unscathed and the staff present seemed to be competent. During my wash the machinery was paused to correct some kind of issue which was slightly concerning and frustrating. The machinery in the wash is clunky and aggressive-if that even makes sense in terms of a car wash. Overall it is a value compared to the touch-less wash on the other side of town. Mint has plentiful vacuuming stations and the suction is above par. This car wash tore off my front right wheel well flare. The young girl working the front desk had to run into the active car wash to retrieve the piece of my car that the machines tore off. The icing on the cake...it didn't even get my car clean.. I have owned my car for almost a decade, taken great care of it, and have never had any previous damage. The manager of this car wash refused to fix the damage, their car wash did to my automobile, claiming they could see pervious damage to my car on their video cameras. (I have never had ANY damage to my car until this place) The Mint carwash is a joke. After a week of trying to get ahold of the manager to see if they would fix what they broke, I finally spoke to him and was talked to like I was an idiot. I've never been treated so poorly by an establishment. I HIGHLY recommend going to literally any other auto wash. read more

I bought the $20/mo unlimited wash a few months ago. Very simple, basically just a soap and water wash with a spot free dry. Not so much spot free, I towel mine dry after. Turns out, they don't sell the $20 unlimited anymore, so they try to get me to upgrade all the time. I'm not interested in all the bells and whistles and I don't really like the spray on wax. I have had to go through the wash twice because there was still dirt on my car. To me, it's worth the $20 a month for the convenience of going through an automated wash and the vacuums are included. read more

We got one of the higher level washes, it was $16 or so. The wait wasn't very long (the only good thing, really, about this place) but getting in and out of the place is a nightmare. The wash was fine (it's not touchless by the way, if that's what you're looking for) but it does not dry your car AT ALL. I left with soap all over my hood, windows, and sun roof...we had to take it somewhere else to re-wash. Not worth the headache of getting to, and not worth the price when it's less to go to a touchless gas station car wash, with only a slightly longer wait, and you'll only have to wash your car once. read more

I don't get the bad review, people are nuts. They should hand wash if there not happy. I've never seen a line. The price is good for what's offered. You can pay 10 to 20 dollars, I've done both and really could not tell the difference. Of course part of the additional cost is wax which you wouldn't see. The wash is complete and thorough though not brushless, so if your picky about your paint, it's not for you. The trip through the wash is easy and fun, car comes out clean and dry and rolls of the track down to the vacuums nice and easy. Vacuums are amazing, along with air hose to blow water from mirrors and body panels as well a separate facility that does a great job cleaning your floor mats. The $10.00 wash is an unbeatable value and the process is fun and efficient. read more

On Sunday 10/15 I had my car washed and paid for the premium wash. When I arrived home in Shepherd I was shocked by the dirt left on my passenger side rocker panel and about 6 inches up the door. I called them and told them about it and was told to bring it back the next day. This is where the customer service fails big time, i was told that their policy for re washes is same day only. I explained I called yesterday and was told by the young man "well I'll make an exception this time, and you should stop and inspect your vehicle before leaving". So I did and glad I did because it was no different. I returned to the office and the same person that was at the gate was now inside. His responses would be funny if not for the fact it was a total waste of $24.00. First one,"some cars have a shape that just don't allow the brushes to go in far enough. So there must be a lot of cars like mine with dirty rocker panels. Next one "I tried to wipe it off with my hand and what ever it is, its really on there." I touched it with my finger lightly and off it came. Now this next remark sent me over edge, "maybe it's a part of the car that I will have to wash myself". My truck was pretty dirty from the gravel and mud and this wash did the trick. Small wait at the entrance but the monthly users by-passed the line. Would totally be worth it if I was from the area. The grounds are well kept and the employees all matched. The free vacuums sucked hard and it also had a air blower at each vacuum to blow stuff out of the radio buttons. It's been another two weeks since I last reviewed this failing business and things continue to decline. Another portion of the wash tunnel is out of service, so there are no brushes cleaning the hood, windshield, or roof of vehicles. The front of the vehicle is what gets the dirtiest, and these saps aren't doing anything to address their poor customer service. I had been a customer for a while and stopped then when I got a new vehicle due to an arson incident with my car I signed back up. I only had the vehicle for 2 months they said "Your vehicle had pre-existing damage" therefore they will not even consider fixing the front bumper which would maybe be $300. Instead they are telling me that it's my fault because I didn't notice it after going through only 3 times. So I have filed a complaint with the better bussiness bueru. I am planning to talk with the General Manager about what they are going to do to make it right since they are saying that its not something that they are going to cover. This place Sucks. First of all it goes way to fast if something were to happen like your car coming off the rail you have no time to react before serious damage is done. The air pressure for the dry is to high, if you have an older vehicle and missing some paint you will really be missing some paint after going thru here. Don't go here unless you want to mess up your vehicle. After I come out of there my car wouldn't start. Then it finally started and the next time I shut it off it wouldn't start again!! Took my Chevy Aveo through the Mint and it broke one of the wheel covers. Admittedly it was a plastic one, but I understand this is not a rare event. I complained to the two folks who claimed to be "managers" and they pointed out a sign that said the Mint was not responsible and wouldn't do anything for me, at all. I've been through other car washes, never a problem. Some one told me that this car wash also scratches wheels and that it has something to do with the way the machinery grabs the car to move it through the wash. I don't know if that is accurate, or not, but I'm not going back. read more

I went to the Billings, MT Mint car wash. The kiosk was having problems (an attendant was trying to help and kept swiping my card). I asked for the $13.00 wash and after multiple attempts the machine finally gave me the wash. However, I noticed the next day that I was also charged for a $16.00 wash. I was more than double charged and Mint refuses to make any effort to correct the problem. read more

We were members of the Mint Smartwash Program. All of our vehicles were. Today we got a car wash. When we went through there was absolutely NO water on our vehicle. The brushes touched our car without water. We went to the manager. They had the nerve to say, "if there is no water, the brushes won't touch the car." When clearly they did! You can see marks of where the brushes touched. When we got home, in the sunlight you can see a scratch on the top. We have a mini van. It starts from the front of the roof and ends at about the back door. We are very upset, to say the least. We have cancelled our memberships and will never go to the Mint again! read more
