We had been there once before quite some time ago, and this visit reminded us why we liked it so much. The prices are very competitive, especially for the quality of service you receive. The atmosphere was calm, clean, and incredibly relaxing from the moment we walked in. The massage therapists were excellent, they instinctively knew exactly what I needed. They used just the right amount of pressure and worked through a tremendous amount of tension in my shoulders and neck. I tend to carry stress for long periods of time and live in a constant "fight or flight" mode, so when someone truly works out those deep knots and helps your body relax, it can almost feel like a shock to your system. I was a little nauseous afterward, but that's completely normal when you release that much built-up tension. After a carb-heavy, high-protein meal with a little sodium, I felt much better. The next morning I'm definitely sore, but again, that's expected when you've been holding onto that much tightness. What matters most is that I feel lighter, both physically and emotionally. My circulation feels better, the tension is gone, and I genuinely feel like a heavy burden has been lifted off my shoulders. My husband and I absolutely plan to return regularly. If you're carrying stress in your body and need real relief, Coco Massage is worth it.

I was hoping for a relaxing massage after a rough day. This was not it. I wish I had recognized the name as I have been to the other location as well and it is the same there. I got the 100 minute body massage and requested no deep tissue. What I got was deep tissue even after asking him to go softer. If this was not deep tissue idk what is. There were parts of the massage that were nice but half the time I felt tortured and internal screaming. And now I am up in the middle of the night due to this massage. I won't be surprised if I have bruises from this massage. It was also unpleasant that the head rest had a cheap paper towel you had to use and the headrest itself gave me a headache during the massage. We could both hear the iPhone message sound going off of her sending messages in the beginning of the massage, which immediately took away from the relaxing atmosphere. During my massage, my therapist never worked on my feet, front of my legs, which felt unusual and inconsistent as it is a full body massage and because my boyfriend's therapist did include those areas in his massage. Also, $10 each for aromatherapy oil (lavender) not used... neither of us smelled like it and I get lavender oil every time and could smell it last time. The overall quality of my massage felt sloppy compared to my first visit. It was mostly repetitive pressure in the same spots over and over, with none of the deep tissue work I experienced previously. It did not feel therapeutic or relaxing like my first appointment. I'll stick with the other massage therapist.

This is my second time here. Ivy was my therapist both times and she's wonderful! I gotta say that she's very professional and talented. The experience overall was very soft and relaxing. I didn't feel rushed. Ivy understood my preferences which was surprising. Usually Chinese spas have a language barrier but here they understand everything. The heated massage bed was absolutely amazing! The sheets were so incredibly soft and high quality that I almost fell asleep. Overall, the spa is beautiful and has such an elegant, luxurious feel. Well it would not have been humanly possible for the lady that massaged me to have done so any harder. It was extremely painful and miserable the entire time. When she asked if everything was okay I said the pressure was too hard, and she laughed like I said something funny and kept going like she hated my muscles and was trying to kill them. So the place is great in theory but why offer a sliding scale to chose pressure if the staff is going full 100 out of 10 every time?

I am 18 weeks pregnant and hadn't had a massage In about 4 months, I was so excited and looking forward to this. First off.. she put my face cradle straight into a pillow so there was no face hole or available air to breathe. I had to keep lifting my head to get oxygen. I had also told her to please give some focus on my hands and feet, my hands were not touched and she only massaged my right leg and foot and totally ignored the right. This is where it gets good. Being 18 weeks (second trimester) I can't lay on my back. I figured someone who offers prenatal massage would understand that. She not only argued with me about it, but she didn't have anything in the room to lift me up at all. She kept trying to tell me I was perfectly safe to lay on my back and finally offered me a neck pillow. This is the point I wish I would have just walked right out. Eventually I came up with a solution (that wasn't even comfy for me) just to get the massage on track. I did pay her for this service and it didn't sit well with me at all. I reached out simply asking for a refund and she had agreed. The next day she tells me just kidding she's not giving me one. Just beware coming here for a massage. The $100 price is not even close to worth this experience. I feel like with how upsetting this was, I should be paid instead lol.
