Mint Market has a solid mix of trendy and modern pieces, thrifted pieces and even some vintage finds. I've gotten a few things over the years, but now a days, I usually stop in to take a quick peek at what new vintage finds they have. It's been a staple here in Hoboken for as long as I've been in the area, and they also have a location in downtown JC that I love even more (mostly because they have a wider selection of true vintage pieces). The ladies that work in the shop are always friendly and helpful, always around if you have a question but never in your face if you're just browsing. The dressing rooms are small and not the most comfortable but they are there if you do want to try on pieces. Worth a stop in if you are in the area! read more

Mint Market - Used, Vintage & Consignment Near Me - Hoboken, New Jersey

Sadly things have changed for me as far as my experience with this store. Service just isn't as helpful as it used to be. While they are very sweet it's just not as fun or helpful to shop there anymore. It feels as though the people working there just aren't as knowledgeable about fashion or aren't as in tune with peoples needs when they come in and say what they're looking for. I think the most disappointing thing is that I no longer can plan on finding something when I visit. I have visited about four times in a row looking for items for trips or parties or every day wear and haven't found anything that tickles my fancy. There seems to be a lot of T-shirts nowadays and things that aren't as inspiring for me. This used to be a go to no matter what occasion and it hasn't been like that for me for about a year now. read more

Mint Market is the only place I shop! I've been coming here for 8 years and I adore Valerie, her taste and selection of items. The eclectic sale rack is my favorite, but prices are always fair, color selection is always fun, the shop girls are consistently kind and helpful. If you are ever looking for styling advice, Valerie (owner) has an incredible eye. Just got some colorful FILA sneakers and a cozy matching purple set here. Support your local Latina-owned small business! Also in Jersey City. read more

Love the clothes and staff ! Such a fun place to shop with new items always keeping it fresh and fun!

Great selection of eclectic clothes and formal wear. Very nice proprietor. Loved the Kangol hat selection!

This is a wonderful shop! This was my first time going here and let me begin by saying the store is clean and smells amazing! The girls behind the counter are so helpful and amazing. I was truly shocked by the wonderful customer service. I am used to the boutiques in NY where being rude is normal- so this was a very pleasant change. The first day I tried on a pair of beautiful wife leg pant in a S and L. I needed a M and the sales associate told me she has one at the Jersey City location and if I could wait- she would have it in 10 min! I was shocked! I was running late to get back to work- so I told her I'll come and get it on Monday. After going back on Monday- she bring it over but kept it in her car. So she asked if I could come back before the end of the day. I told her I'll just wait until tomorrow. While I was there she showed me a huge box of new stuff (in the packaging) that was delivered that morning! She showed me everything And got my sizes to try on! I fell in love with a body suit and a two piece set! I went back the next day to buy the pants and ended up getting the pants, a body suit and a two piece set (maxi). I feel like a found a diamond in a coal mine! I'll be checking weekly for new things! read more

Mint Market is the BEST boutique on this side of the Hudson! They always have new items and the staff is super helpful! I love that they offer something different. Not your typical "playing it safe" boutique with the same old stuff you see everywhere. The owner keeps you on your toes with the clothes she picks out - fun patterns, pretty dresses for ALL occasions. They really have a little something for everyone! I highly recommend this boutique! read more

Great experience in here today, they're just starting to get in all their adorable spring stuff! And she said there is SO much more on the way the rest of the month so I may have to be back. I love stopping in here on my way to my friends in Hoboken, they always have such cute things and check-in on Yelp for 10% off! Every time I have stopped in I've come out with a purchase or two - very girly, on-trend dresses, rompers, cover-ups, tops, shorts - they usually have a good selection of everything. They also have adorable jewelry! Price range is totally reasonable and clothing quality is good too, and service is always super pleasant! You won't regret stopping in. read more

Lots of selection but noticed not all customers wearing masks inside. Also, didn't seem like employers were enforcing it. Some of the clothes seemed overpriced in relation to the quality. read more

Hoboken is filled with boutiques, unfortunately most are very forever21-esque (aka shops for basic b's), and nothing special. Mint Market, however is a straight gem. This place has a great selection of clothing and accessories at reasonable price points. This place is my go-to for unique statement jewelry. Cute store, helpful employees, etc. Definitely recommend. read more

Super cute store, I didn't have much time to go threw everything but loved the displays. I was able to score a good deal on this awesome dress for my sister. She loved it!!! read more

FINALLY an affordable and well curated vintage boutique. I typically like to mix a unique vintage piece and this is a great place to find that one of a kind element that makes people look twice. I picked up a few pieces for the office, I mean just because I have a 9-5 it DOES NOT mean I have to look straight out of Zara and have my clothes fall apart. I got: Silk flowy blouses- essential pieces LV pumps- Yes I know, super cute & comfy Val was great, will definitely be going back for some party outfits. read more

I wanted to love this place but I just liked it. The selection is OK but nothing too special to be honest. The woman at the desk said hello but then didn't speak again. No offer help me find something. the vintage jewelry and a few bags caught my eye but the clothing was a little typical. read more

Great place to shop for summer dresses and Swimwear. Unique dresses, classy and affordable. Also one of a kind jewelry. Love their Bikinis! read more

Super cute vintage boutique with a very knowledgeable owner. Valerie knows the story/era behind every piece in her store. Products range from bathing suits to fur to designer dresses, shoes, and accessories, and are comparable to things you'd find in many of the popular NYC vintage boutiques. Everything is reasonably priced -- I walked away with an amazing vintage one piece and crop top for under $100! It's definitely worth the walk off Washington Street. A hidden gem of Hoboken! read more

Ever have a Pretty Woman moment? Where you go into a store and get judged for how you appear, well I did. I always pass by this store and loved looking in the window, today I saw this outfit that I wanted to look at for my company dinner. So I went in and was not greeted by any of the staff, but was immediately looked up and down by them feeling judged. I was not offered any help while I was in there. I felt so uncomfortable, I had to leave the store because I did not want to be somewhere the employees made me feel inferior. read more

Cute, little boutique. Not the largest selection, but they do have some nice pieces for a great price. I like the jewelry they sell and you can find some "one of a kind" pieces that you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. The girl who was working was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back. Hoboken is a little inconvenient for me to travel to, but I would totally make the trip just to come to Mint Market. read more

Not only are the outfits, jewelry and shoes timeless pieces but the ladies who run this brand are incredible. I have been a loyal customer since the day they opened a little more than two years ago, and boy have they expanded. The owner, Val, is an incredible individual who has the biggest heart. She not only want you to look good in her clothes but FEEL good. That is why she has the best store in Hoboken, hands down. Visit the store, you won't regret it. read more

Val and the awesome girl gang at Mint Market never let me down! I always manage to find a special piece no matter what the occasion is from casual to formal. read more

Mint Market is a hidden gem! A great mix of contemporary and quality select vintage pieces....and not at the hyper-marked up prices. Ive picked up some treasures! I bought an amazing 70s white maxi dress, vintage secretary blouses, a Tiffany's silver necklace for $40!! that only needed a little TLC, and a vintage 60s fur coat. The coat is in perfect condition for its age and a very unique shape and fit and for only $250!! The selection of vintage jewelry is fantastic, great pieces to mix in with modern tops. read more

A true vintage experience with a keen fashion sense. Much needed and welcomed in Hoboken. Good luck!

Great selection of clothes for every occasion. Reasonable prices. The girl that works here is really helpful and patient!

Love, love, love this place. I have been shopping here since it opened, and Val has been dressing me for all that time. She's excellent at choosing something that will flatter you and the prices are not expensive Hoboken boutique prices. Even when I go in to look at new stuff, I'm usually wearing something I bought from there a few years before. Whenever people ask me where I got my cute sweater or pretty dress, I just tell them: Mint Market! Will be a lifelong purchaser there read more

This store is superb!. I've lived in this town for over a decade and I can truly say its one of the best clothing stores hobokens had since Jessie James closed. Why? The girls got lots of vintage and contempary merchandise in the ranges of $25-$100. She is reasonable with her markups, unlike many other stores in town that are charging $40.00 and up for a neon 100% polyester top -_- read more

It is seriously SICK how much I shop here. I love this place! Beautiful selection of items, and very affordable prices. You can tell the owner Val really puts effort and her own person style into the pieces she curates. Plus, the shop is just adorable too. Obsessed! read more

I love Mint Market! I have to fight to not walk in every day on my way home from the Path to see what new things they have in store. I can't tell you how many times I've passed by the window in the morning on my way to work, fell in love with what they had on the mannequin, just to run in asap on my way home that night to buy it for myself! All of the girls are incredibly sweet; the owner/buyer is awesome and has great taste. The other run-of-the-mill boutiques in Hoboken are OK, if you are basic and enjoy playing it safe in leggings and a North Face. However, I gravitate towards the edgy and original. Thank god for Mint Market, or I'd probably do all my shopping in NYC. read more

I have never written a post on Yelp in my life but had to write a post about this store. I have lived in hoboken for over 5 years now; first on 7th and willow and now in the sky club on 1st street. It is fair to say, I have been to a majority, if not all, of the clothing boutiques in town. When Mint Market opened up down the street from me, I was cautiously optimistic about a new boutique right by my apartment. For starters, most of the boutiques in Hoboken are completely overpriced, the quality of the clothes is terrible, owners do not merchandise the store correctly, they don't know the Hoboken market well enough to attract loyal customers and above all else, the customer service is average at best (most of the boutiques - not all). Mint market was a COMPLETELY breath of fresh air. The store sells both new and vintage clothing; all exceptionally well made and beautiful. The Prices are exceptional with averaging 50 - 100 dollars but you can find most of the clothes around the 50 dollar price point. The vintage clothes are unbelievable - Last week I was in there and saw a vintage Christian Dior bustier and a gold Chanel bangle. The price points were obviously higher than a $100 but that's reasonable. The store is beautifully decorated and exceptionally merchandised. The store owner, Valerie, is one of the nicest most personable shop owners I have ever come in contact with. She is a Miami transplant (where she had her own shop there) but knows Hoboken clientele like the back of her hand. I have bought numerous pieces from her and every time I am in there she helps style me and tells me what kind of stuff she has coming in. She knows what I like and how to help me shop which is really, in my opinion, is a service you can't put a price on. Just last week I told her I was looking for some new jackets for the fall and she asked me what kind of jackets I liked to see if she could find me some at the right price point - that is going above and beyond in customer service. This store is truly a gem and hard to find in the Metro area. Definitely stop by and see what this store is all about!!! read more

I really like this store the prices are great and a nice selection of items from purses, to dresses of all types! Everyone is very friendly all in all an enjoyable shopping experience! read more

I walked into Mint Market on a Friday whim. I'm a browse-queen so I expected to try on a few pieces and then continue on my way. However, Mint's selection is impressively varied and unique. The contemporary pieces have a vintage flare and all the vintage pieces feel hand picked. The women working in the shop were supportive, complimentary, and honest! (No one wants to be told they need the next size up, but sometimes that piece of info is necessary-- I ended up buying the bigger size.) I ended up spending quite a bit, but the owner Valerie threw in a pair of earrings!! I love stores that reward their customers and make you feel welcome. As if all this weren't enough, alterations on in store pieces are free. It made buying a gown that was too long for me completely worth it. read more
