PRICES - They are always having some kind of INCREDIBLE sale - like "every item $1" or "Fill a bag for $10". I think this thrift store is one of the only remaining in the area that truly charges like a second hand shop! 2. ITEMS - They get some really high quality items in here. I literally walked out of there today with well over $600 worth of items including: baby clothes (ralph lauren, juicy), maternity clothes (gap, motherhood, Michael stars), 5 (Ralph Lauren) polos for my husband and so much more for TEN BUCKS! I have also found really great designer jeans (j brand, madewell, etc) and theory items in this place! I have also gotten great shoes....i bought my sister a pair of barely touched J Crew heels that were still in stores for $1! 3. PEOPLE - The folks who run this place are just as into thrifting as their customers, so they share a warm and positive energy! AND they are all about the cause! 4. ORGANIZATION - I have been in search of second hand maternity clothes since i became pregnant a few months ago....and this store is one of the only ones that have a maternity section. They have all racks clearly labeled which makes the experience all the better! It seems like a tiny shop - but there is TONS to be found... Like anything, there is always room for improvement - but the only thing I could call out are the hours - I wish this place was open more! I've gotten a few things over the years, but now a days, I usually stop in to take a quick peek at what new vintage finds they have. It's been a staple here in Hoboken for as long as I've been in the area, and they also have a location in downtown JC that I love even more (mostly because they have a wider selection of true vintage pieces). The ladies that work in the shop are always friendly and helpful, always around if you have a question but never in your face if you're just browsing. The dressing rooms are small and not the most comfortable but they are there if you do want to try on pieces. Worth a stop in if you are in the area!

I wouldn't necessarily think of this as a thrift store like a goodwill or salvation army, since the items are almost all new at a higher price so you can't really get used/worn bargains. Their racks outside are more heavily discounted, but some of them have defects so double check everything! I appreciate that the store writes out what the defects are on the tag if they are aware of the defects - I appreciate how transparent they are. Worth a visit! I just personally didn't end up purchasing anything.

The store itself is clean and spread across two narrow floors, with changing rooms available if you want to try something on. One thing to know is that this place is definitely different from many of the traditional thrift stores. You'll find more trendy and higher-end clothing and merchandise here, and the prices reflect that. You're not likely to walk in and find a plain blue T-shirt for $3. I came in with two large bags of clothes I've worked hard for, and I left feeling completely scammed. The intake process was the first red flag. They took my physical ID just to "write down my name" and promised to call me when they were finished going through my items. 7 PM came and went with zero communication. When I finally walked back in to check on my things, I found out they had been ready for a while. It felt like they never intended to call me at all, almost as if they were hoping I wouldn't show up to claim my belongings. When I got to the counter, the payout was an absolute insult: $5 for what was clearly more than five items. To make matters worse, it was obvious they had cherry-picked my most expensive, high-value clothing out of the bags, but they flat-out refused to show me exactly which pieces they were taking. When I asked for transparency, the staff was incredibly evasive and wouldn't let me see the specific items they had selected to keep. Then came the "donation" scam. They pointed to a line on a paper and told me I had already "agreed" to donate both of my remaining large bags for a measly $0.50. I never gave verbal consent for this, and I had to actually argue with the rude, entitled staff just to get my own property back. The biggest red flag of all? They refused to give me a receipt to keep. They showed me a vague paper to justify their "payout," but they would not let me walk out with a copy for my own records. This is incredibly suspicious it's as if they know their practices are shady and don't want customers having proof of how they operate or what was taken. While I was there, I saw other customers also arguing with the staff over these same tactics. This place treats your hard-earned items like their own property the second you walk in. I am thankful I fought to get my bags back, but I feel completely cheated out of the expensive items they did keep. Save your time and your clothes go literally anywhere else.
