The food was very good! I got the Gobi Manchurian, Samosas and Palak Paneer. Everything was delicious and very well seasoned. If you do not like spicy you might ask if there can be less of it. I wouldn't call these dishes hot but they had a nice spicy heat to them that lingered. The samosas were served with tamarind and mint sauces. The Paneer was served with a side of rice that was perfectly cooked. The gobi manchurian held up to the sauce which had a good amount of heat. I picked up this order to go. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, it's the typical hole in the wall that serves amazing food!! They have a few tables. When I got my order home it was very well wrapped. Every container was individually wrapped so nothing leaked. This meal lasted me for 2 dinners and a snack. If you like Indian food with some spicy heat, you'll enjoy Mint's food!

What a circus. It's 2:45pm and this tiny place is packed. It's noisy and super tight. Thankfully we are past Covid. The prices are high. And we were charged even higher prices than the menu displays. I can't imagine how that is legal. It certainly isn't ethical. Holy kids here all screaming, Food came out quickly. You order at the counter (if you can find a menu) then they bring it out quickly. The food was very very good and we love that they're vegetarian. Food is served in plastic :(. Plates are styrofoam, forks and spoons are plastic. Cups are plastic. Service was attentive and very very friendly! The parking lot is quite small. The prices not matching menus is a pet peeve so they lost at least a star for that. The very cramped, loud space didn't help. The prices being higher than others in town didn't help. Very good food and very good service.

While traveling back to Tampa we decided to try Mint Indian Cuisine at Gainesville. For a quick bite we ordered Samosa, Ragda Patties and Pakoras. We ordered 30 minutes and when we reached the food was ready and hot. We decided to have food at the restaurant and we loved the food. The ragda patties and pakoras were amazing. We loved it.

Authentic? Sadly, not at all. Tried the Gobi Manchurian and the Pani Puri and both were very different from other restaurants that I've eaten at, whether that be fine dining Indian establishments or street food in India. The Gobi Manchurian almost tasted like it had a sweet and sour sauce on it, and the Pani Puri had a puri that were not very light and airy, but were particularly hard. On top of that, they gave a mixture of daal (lentils) in a sauce, where as the usual pani puri has a dry mix of potatoes, lentils. The green sauce (the "pani" of the dish) is usually tart and spicy, and this one sadly didn't meet the spice level that I was looking for at all. I wish I was less disappointed in this place - I was really looking forward to some good Indian food in the Gainesville area. Guess I will continue to make the trek down to Ocala when I need to scratch the itch. Pros: Prices Friendly staff Cons: Food - I'll be back to try more of the main entrees at least Spice level

Small family run restaurant. Food is like home cooked. Very reasonable prices. Recommend for lunch and dinner takeout.

We ordered two different pastas and a couple of pizzas to share, and everything was fantastic. The pizza was so good that we ended up ordering a second flavor just to try more. Every dish we had was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We were celebrating our anniversary, and our waitress made it even more special by writing "Happy Anniversary" on our tiramisu, which was such a thoughtful touch. It's hard to believe Gainesville finally has such a great Italian restaurant--we're already looking forward to coming back. The prices are very reasonable too, which makes it even better.

We ordered a bottle of Rodney Strong Chardonnay, calamari (which was unfortunately very oily), a salad with shrimp (decent), a pizza with pistachio, honey, mozzarella and gorgonzola, and a shrimp cream pasta. The biggest issue was the service. Our waiter took an extremely long time to bring the food, and we eventually had to flag down another waitress just to check on our order. If the kitchen was backed up, we would have appreciated someone simply telling us upfront. What made it more frustrating was that families seated after us were served, ate, and left before we even got our meals. Overall, I was unimpressed. I really wanted to love it -- the menu sounds creative and promising -- but the experience just didn't live up to expectations. I wish it had been better.

My boyfriend got a cappuccino with strawberry syrup but we didn't really taste the strawberry in his. Regardless, it was delicious. We also got one of their biscotti which seemed like they made in house but I'm not sure. It was yummy, but definitely was not a very traditional recipe. It tasted more like a short bread than a biscotti but still very yummy. We walked out to the food truck to get some vegan bites and they definitely met expectations. The crabby patty was delicious with a great texture, and my boyfriends patty melt was also super good. We shared a mac and cheese and honestly I was full before we even got to that. The Mac and cheese was great but did taste a lot like coconut so if you're not into that then maybe veer away. The ambience was a mixed bag. The initial shop that you order the coffee in had a very cozy vibe with great decor. If you walk past the patio into the overflow seating the vibe changes a ton. The decor felt very uncanny valley, back rooms, like very odd. I think they need to work on that side of the property a little bit and make it more cozy. Maybe it's a work in progress or maybe they like it that way, I'm not sure, but it wasn't the sort of vibe that made me want to stick around. Overall great experience though! Will be coming back & hopefully I can get seating in the main shop ;)

I came with a friend for dinner and we got food from the food truck, where all of the menu options are 100% plant-based. I got the mojo tacos and for my chosen protein I went with the fried fishless filet. The two tacos came on corn tortillas with pico de gallo, queso fresco, pickled red onion, mojo sauce, and lime. Each bite was so refreshing! The lime gave a citrus kick to the sweet pickled red onions. The fried fishless fish was tender and flaky like real white fish. I was thoroughly impressed with Curia and think it's one of the most unique places in Gainesville. Check it out!
