Coast dental associates never answer the phone. One's calls are always routed to an answering service. Every single day except for Mondays because they re closed, I have tried to reach out to the answer machine just states that they are experiencing a high volume of calls. Bullcrap!!!! They never answer. You can't leave a message for them. After answering service leaves them a message, they were called back from a number that does not come up coast.Therefore, customers and clients don't answer phones due to the spam calls that we are receiving these days. Whoever calls you back does not leave a message where o you can respond to them. My insurance company told me that I should only have paid $153.00 for services. Me and my insurance company have filed a grievance against this company.For overcharging , patients and not applying the proper insurance that is being paid through our insurance companies. Coast down told me my insurance only $249 and I was left to pay the balance. That is definitely untrue. So be very careful before you have done a work.Done at this place because 9 times out of 10, they are going to overcharge you for services. We started this early November 2025, I went in to get…read moremy porcelain/ main bridge in but had tooth sensitivity since my visit in December (after the dentist shaved down my tooth a 2nd time) when the dentist came in she looked at my x-ray FROM THE INITIAL VISIT and told me she was going to refer me to a specialist because on the same tooth, she shaved down a second time I might need a root canal due to me. "grinding"my teeth which I found extremely disturbing seeing as how we already started the bridge process from the same x-ray that she was showing me. If she knew I needed a possible root canal for the surrounding teeth, why in the world would she have started the procedure or completed it for a bridge? Why now am I having to go to a specialist for that said tooth after I paid all this money? Why not have created a treatment plan for said teeth then if there was that big of an issue?? Every time she came in to speak it was something new and different! I feel as though she shaved down too much hence the new sensitivity. I asked for a plan for now and then, nothing was given and I was told there was nothing in my chart as well for previous visits. I asked for my X-rays so I can go elsewhere and was given the complete run around. They only tried to give me select X-rays (not even the one we went over today!!) I had to ask for my MA who's been assisting the dentist and she then got the job done with at least said X-ray. I wanted my complete medical records and was told they couldn't give them today due to "new policies" going to get a second opinion ASAP. Requested my dental records back in January from the office on my last visit and never received them. When I called in regards someone told me they wouldn't release them due to the fact that they added a deductible payment AFTER my appointment that I wasn't aware of but according to HIPPA laws it's total illegal to withhold my records even for that reason. Will be contacting HIPPA as well as Georgia Dentistry Board in regards to them withholding my records as well as the nasty treatment I got from the medical assistant this morning. Looking back at my younger self I wish I would have done something. They stole so much of my parents money for them to do a botched job and verbally and mentally abuse me for the whole experience. They put expanders on my top and bottom jaw where I had to manually break my jaw over 6 months to try and make room for my teeth. Even though we paid and I suffered through that they still chose to pull teeth (that they didn't even need to..). Throughout my whole treatment the staff would undermine me, they constantly told me I had awful and disgusting teeth, and that my hygiene was horrible... While I would go to an ACTUAL dentist twice a year and be praised by how great my teeth were and how well I took care of them (I've still never had a cavity my entire life). The staff claimed that I hit them, and at the time I was 15. I got called into the man's office to talk about it, and when I told him I had never done such a thing he yelled, "I would never believe someone like you over my staff".. Then, finally, after 4 1/2 years of constantly being scolded, bad mouthed, and given shitty service, there was a day that I cried. I am not good with mouth pain, and a bracket broke off. They had to remove the wire and put the bracket back on and put the wire back in... I couldn't take it and two tears came out of my eyes (I was not balling - I was laying silently with a few tears rolling own my cheeks). The woman left and the owner John Martin came in, cussing at me, called me a bitch and told me to get over myself and to stop abusing his staff (I was 17 at the time). Luckily my father was there and overheard him and came in to stop him.. That very day, after 4 1/2 years I finally got my braces off, and my teeth weren't even straight. I had large gaps on my top jaw from where they pulled teeth they shouldn't have... And BECAUSE they put my mouth through so much trauma I have very severe ROOT RESORPTION which means my teeth may fall out in the future... Fuck this place. Don't let ANYONE EVER go here.
