I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the dental treatment and care I received at the cedar Hill office, specifically regarding the development and fitting of my dental partial. The sequence of events has been exceedingly frustrating and has caused me significant stress and anxiety. My treatment commenced in April. I waited for 20-30 minutes in the treatment room without assistance until I sought help myself. After explaining my need for molds and a scan, someone did attend to these tasks, but I left feeling uncertain about their competence, particularly as no color match was conducted. After a month passed with no communication from your office, I began calling weekly for 2-3 weeks, each time receiving a vague assurance of a potential delivery with the next shipment. It wasn't until roughly two months later that someone recognized the inordinate delay. Investigation showed the lab had deemed the molds unsuitable, neither making the partial nor notifying your office. Consequently, after waiting 2.5 months, I returned for new molds and a color match--steps that should have been completed initially. Additionally, I had requested to speak with the district manager, Tiffany A, but was never contacted. I was assured they would expedite the process. A week later, I underwent tooth removal and fitting but was neither shown the part beforehand nor afterward for approval. Upon inspecting it at home, I was distressed to find the gum line (acrylic tissue) doesn't match my own, and the tooth length is shorter than my natural teeth. The experience has been mentally impairing, leaving me feeling vulnerable, stressed, and anxious. Very impressed. I had a bad experience with a large dentist company and it resulted me to go find a private dentist. I was satisfied with the dentist that I had found but then he retired and had another dentist to take his place. I told myself that I would give him a try but after having some work done and had to go back three time to adjust my bite. I was done! While listening to the radio I always hear about Mint Dentistry and why they giving away free whiting. Months went by and my teeth finally stop hurting from the private dentist and one day I got a call and it was the receptionist reminding me to make my six month check up and I was' "oh no hun I will be looking else where". I hurried and called and make an appoint with Mint Dentist since I could not get them off my radio station no matter with one I turn to lol. The day of my appoint I was a bit nervous because I am the type that I do not like too many people over me and my impression from the radio advertisement was that a billion dentist would be standing over me giving their opinions (dramatic, I know). The dentist sat down talk to me and addressed my concerns and why I changed and he took everything I said into consideration. All the doctor visits I been to he was the first to inform me that I need a night guard and I was like I do tend to clinch my mouth together a lot but never put much thought into it. The first night I wore my night guard I felt the difference and my jaw was relaxed. I see that these dentist here have had very good training and they are all about the patient and not the wallet. [Young, older, conservative, liberal, etc...] Everyone is treated with the utmost respect & their goal is undeniably, to create a comfortable, healthy, inviting environment & experience...! As a child, I had VERY traumatic dental experiences, and the professionals at MINT were not only empathetic, they went above & beyond to ensure that I was comfortable & in-the-know about EVERYTHING! I AM now a patient of MINT and I WON'T be avoiding the dentist any longer! Doctor Hardaway is SUPERB!! She EXPERTLY handled me, with care & a personal touch, that I sincerely appreciate...! Also, my nurse [DEZ], was SUPER SWEET [& Gorgeous] & accommodating! She noted ALL of my fears, concerns, history & neuroses (lol)!!! She eased my anxiety, kept me comfortable, explained everything thoroughly & even introduced me to a new soothing/meditative station on iHeart radio! Actually, the entire staff was very pleasant & beyond accommodating!!! WAIT!!! Did I mention that they have PERSONAL flat screen TVs & Tablets for comfort, entertainment & ultimately, to make the experience the BEST You could possibly have!!!? Admittedly, I'm NOT easily impressed [but] these people have indubitably created an environment that is NEEDED, especially for those of us who aren't millionaires [YET], but still want quality affordable care, with dignity, comfort & amenities to rival the BEST!!! Unfortunately, my experience with my daughter was so good. They put a crown on her root canal without re-checking the area to make sure it was clean. A couple of months later she had pain and when I went back and forth with them before they said there was an infection under the crown and a specialist would have to determine how bad it was. Sent me to a specialist who drilled a hole in the crown to see what was underneath and it started pouring out infection like they've never seen before. The specialist said it was the worst he's ever seen. They referred me to an oral surgeon the same day. Oral surgeon had to go in and pull the tooth and the next one to it and dig the infection out. They also had to dig it out of her sinus cavity where it had spread. They said she will be suffering from sinus infections for a year or so before it gets better. And my daughter was a singer. This impacted her ability to sing as you use nasal cavities to sing from. Will not be going to another Mint Dentistry. I'm still paying the price for this visit. read more

I am a mother of 2 teens and a pre-teen in the Cedar Hill community and hygiene means everything to our family. We moved here 3 years ago and just started going to a dentist in the area until finally after enough people to me about Mint Dentistry, I made 4 appointments, 3 for my children and 1 for my dad. Needless to say, after their first visit, they fell in love with Mint Dentistry!!! From the massage chairs to the Beats by Dre headphones they felt comfortable in this environment and as a mother, this is very important to me. My oldest child even takes advantage of the free whitening applications because beauty means everything to her. I am now scheduled for my first appointment in October and looking forward to my experience. A lot of people only come on yelp to leave bad reviews, but I want to start out by telling everyone about my great experience at Mint Dentistry. Just walking into the dental office, you can already feel a great vibe. You are greeted and then helped at the front desk. Waiting at the dentist office isn't always the best, but they offer headphones and a iPad to play with while you wait. When called back, I was greeted with a nice smile and a great explanation of what was going to happen in the next few moments. When brought to the room, I was allowed to listen to music and even offered to watch netflix or hulu. The staff there is young and friendly! You get a great feel of the environment and how well everyone works together. All my questions were answered and they didn't rush anything. I don't know what occurred with this place but after 3 rescheduled appointments because I made an appointment weeks in advance, and after over an hour wait time I couldn't get a simple cleaning. Finally I was offered a $100 credit so I made the mistake of going back to this place and BEFORE my cleaning and exam I was given an estimate for several root canals. Ummm ok I thought they were joking. Well I got a second and third opinion which both of those dentists said that was not the case. I'm so glad that my gut told me to RUN! This is the worst dental experience I've ever had from the long wait that inconvenienced me to a dentist who was so clueless and more than happy to drill and bill me into debt and unnecessary dental work. Save your teeth and your wallet and go somewhere...anywhere else. read more

For the first time in a long time I've finally been excited and also very satisfied with my dentist experience ! MINT DENTISTRY in CEDAR HILL gave me A-1 service ! I LOVE MINT!!! This office is SO AMAZING!!! I've been to two other offices, before I relocated to the south suburbs...! They are ALL AWESOME!!! I'm just here today for my routine cleaning and it's ALWAYS a PLEASURABLE experience!!! I previously had PTSD regarding dental experiences, as a child... The staff and atmosphere was amazing! The massage was amazing and complimentary. I brought my 11 year old son and they treated him like a star as he waiting for me to get worked on. He was allowed to use one of their iPads to watch Netflix along with using their beats headphones. When I got into my area for cleaning there was a large flat screen tv with Netflix and Hulu enabled. Rosie was my tech and she was amazing. She got me all setup and made me feel like a superstar. I played pro football before and the Mint staff made me feel like I was a pro again! The staff is wonderful. I am such a baby when going to the dentist. The staff made me feel at ease. The staff at the front desk are friendly, courteous, and welcoming. My wait time was all of 15 minutes. The tech who took me back was very knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate. The dentist was very friendly. She examined my teeth thoroughly and explained my options. The tech who cleaned my teeth was wonderful. I love the whiting gel they offer. This was an amazing experience as I am always nervous about going to the dentist I was immediately greeted by the receptionist and the check in process was simple and straightforward. Deililah called me to the back and was very professional as she performed my initial X-rays. Lauren was amazing as she took over for Delilah and made me feel comfortable as she walked me through the entire process. First time in and I will say I had a great experience. It's a very good environment as soon as you walk in the doors. I got checked in, had to do some paperwork, mostly on iPad which was quick and easy, and was in the chair within minutes. All the employees at the Cedar Hill branch are great. I Hadn't been to the dentist in years because of a experience at a younger age that made me avoid the dentist! I was scared but made a apt with Mint, as soon as I walked through the door I knew everything was gonna go just fine! My daughter snd I went to MINT Dentistry in Cedar Hill about a month ago. I waited to write this review to see how my fillings were going to do. Everything went great! I had very little pain during the procedure and after. I was completely numb before they gave the shots in my gums. No complaints here! And the free whitening was just an added bonus. I had a traumatic experience at the dentist as a child, and for years, just the thought of going back brought anxiety. But Taylor was so reassuring and understanding.
