She was friendly, positive, caring and gentle. She also was thorough -- she took an extra picture of an area that had some sensation (no pain or discomfort). Dr. Cunningham was approachable, open to my questions, and did not seem rushed. She took the time out to show me what was going on with my teeth in the X-ray and educated me on some of the dental terms. I never knew that my wisdom teeth are already there, just underneath my gums. Cool to see where they were via X-ray. Keeley was THE best hygienist I was paired up with. She was gentle, took the time to educate me, pointed out the dental areas that I need to be more mindful of, gave me great tips on how to get to hard to reach molars: relax mouth halfway, instead of opening mouth all the way. She also said for gum health a reading of 1-3 are healthy, if there were any 4s, they would address it. Also, last interesting I learned is that tartar builds up after 48 hours of plaque not being properly removed. For the longest time, like everyone else I've heard the radio ads for Mint Dentistry like an overplayed record. I finally decided to give them a try twice this year & regret both visits but I will stick to my experience at the Bishop Arts location. My appointment was scheduled for 1:45pm. Granted this took quite some arranging since I have braces with an orthodontist almost an hour away & normally have to make 3 appointments just to get things done with both. The staff knew well in advance & I reminded them yet again at my appointment that my ortho appointment was at 4:20pm giving them at LEAST 2 hours for a cleaning. I arrived on time for my appointment but did not see the doctor until 3PM. If the appointment wasn't vital I would've left. As I sat waiting, I had to notify my ortho I wouldn't make it on time in the mist of that someone came in to ask for out-of-pocket money for a "deep cleaning". Keep in mind I just had the exact same services done 6 months prior, but she was requesting almost $100. I was already irritated so I set up a payment plan because that didn't seem right to me & needed to speak with my insurance. Furthermore, I didn't leave the office until 4PM! The doctors response "This is why I tell patients to not make appts back to back because you never know how long an appt will be & I'm the only doctor here." Excuse me ? Never have I ever been at the dentist for almost 2.5hrs for a cleaning & you being the only doctor is not my issue. If you cannot maintain your schedule don't book patients BACK TO BACK ! Ultimately, I was correct regarding the costs & they had to refund me which took a couple weeks. The office seriously needs to reevaluate their scheduling system. Its clear one doctor cannot handle the office workload without creating an inconvenience for patients. Secondly, the finance coordinator needs to file insurance claims first to validate coverage versus assuming & incorrectly charging patients. If you have ever paid out-of-pocket, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking your dental EOBs to see if your insurance covered what you paid. Because unfortunately you cannot trust the billing department to audit their claims & properly reimburse patients. It also seems to be a habit of the finance department & the doctor to suggest a "deep cleaning" to gauge extra funds from patients. Google reviews can attest to this. I'm only giving 2 stars because of the staff I encountered outside of the doctor & finance person. Especially the young lady who polished my teeth! She was quick & her energy was amazing. Overall, this experience alone has made me second guess trusting any other dental office. I don't care what the radio says, I do NOT recommend Mint! read more

I am always a fan of Mint Dentistry. This visit was no less. This is my first time at this Dallas location but i left a happy camper. The staff was very friendly and helped me throughout. I love being able to have a option of music or Netflix when getting my teeth cleaned. It makes the process much better. They did have a bit of a wait once I went to the back but I still got an amazing cleaning. I will definitely be back! read more

Dr Kadam was useles. I didn't an hour there and then was told she couldn't treat me even for a routine cleaning. I have since returned to my previous provider who did not understand her issue. I have complained to the dental society. This location was only interested in wasting my time and billing my insurance. read more

My son actually had an appointment at this location and he ended up counseling. I ended up calling back and rescheduling and before rescheduling I asked them over the phone. Have they verified the benefits and they stated yes. My son end up going in for a dental exam And he calls me and tells me that he needs to pay thousands and thousands of dollars. I forgot what young lady I spoke with, but I got really upset and told her to forward me his treatment plan and we will be going to another dentist. I called my insurance company with the codes and the treatment plan and my insurance company states they will be covering everything at 100% percent. Whoever was the young lady I spoke with was very unprofessional. She was trying to tell me that my insurance company was not going to cover a bridgefrom my son. What really pissed me off is they cannot even pick up the phone and call the insurance company to verify coverage. They only wanna go by the computer system. read more

I was told I had a cavity watch spot so I went back for a filling. They started without numbing, and only offered it after they started. A month later, I woke up with temperature sensitivity. I went back and told the dentist my symptoms, and she immediately says I need a root canal without looking first. After she looks, she tells me she doesn't know what went wrong and sent me home. I ended up going to another dentist to check - so overall ended up going to the dentist 4 times in 2 months. The staff is nice but they over charged me and it took 3 months to get a refund after calling multiple times. Overall, don't recommend. read more

Do not go here. I went with someone for support who was getting teeth pulled. 5 teeth were pulled & he wasn't given anesthesia, only numbed. Ridiculous. Then when a piece of the tooth broke off during removal & came thru the gum 2 weeks later, and he was in pain, even though they said he could go back anytime if anything came up they would not see him when he showed up. When he got an appt the next day instead of taking the broken part out the dentist pushed it further down & he was in extreme pain when he did that. Dr Sinn-horrible experience. This place is only out to get your money. Treating people like we are in a third world country. DONT GO TO MINT DENTISTRY! Not even 1 star worthy! read more

I went to the location in denton and had a great experience and they were helpful with accommodating my anxiety everyone was super nice, i moved and thought i'd try this one since i had a good experience. The doctor came in and in my exam told me i needed filling i asked for a moment to collect myself since i really dislike the dentist and it was overwhelming having a new location and a non empathetic doctor they returned I said they could continue the exam it's just overwhelming thinking about getting work done on my teeth but they told me no they wouldn't do the cleaning and had me leave. read more

Loved coming here! It was my first time and I could not be happier with my experience, the staff and the facility! I was warmly greeted and welcomed by the wonderful Office Manager. After my paperwork I was given my "Mint" Shades and bottled water and offered headsets to listen to my choice of music while I wait. I declined since my husband was there and I'd rather talk to him. Then Henry took me back and explained the whole process to me - he's amazing! Very kind, funny and a great guy to have working on your teeth! Then kindest Doctor Cagino came in to see me and did a thorough exam of my mouth, gums, teeth and tongue. I was impressed with her thoroughness for sure! She was incredibly kind and explained everything to me - even gave me the bad news that I had two tiny cavities. But it didn't feel so bad coming from her! I was first cancelled on by the Carrollton location 1 hour before my appointment, I was then rescheduled at the Bishop Art location for the same original appointment time, just to be cancel on once again. They have no sense of what customer service is. Latasha - the office manager laughed on the phone when I asked to get my copay covered due to the inconvenience. I had taken PTO for my appointment and moved meetings around as they don't have any appointments after 5pm or on the weekend either. When you hear about Mint Dentistry on the radio and from the owner himself he prides himself on giving a great experience and customer service - unfortunately Mint Bishop Arts is so far from that. I went to this dentist last year for my annual checkup. I was shocked when the dentist told me I had a cavity. I had never had one before. I decided to hold off on the filling because unknowingly this location was not in my insurance network. Just went in for a very thorough exam at another family dentist and they confirmed I 100% do not have a cavity. I become suspicious and did a little research and apparently many people have had this issue with Mint Dentistry and some other local dental practices. They falsely claim you have cavities to bump up their profits. Be cautious and get a second opinion! read more

I was very caught off guard by how different this location is compared to the others my friends and I have been to. Front desk customer service & Dental assistant 5 stars. However, the hygienist was extremely aggressive and rough on my teeth. I completely understand build up but I've had plenty of cleanings before and never experienced one like that. I honestly don't feel like the cleaning was thorough enough. I definitely won't be back to this location, unfortunately. When I walked into West Davis Dental it was a completely different experience and they have doctors to do extractions if needed. Prices are cheaper too! read more

The staff was all so friendly, informative, and sensitive to my needs and financial concerns. Plus, they have heated massage chairs, music, and even Netflix available to you while you're having everything done. Although, new to the neighborhood and desperate for a convenient reliable dentist office; I visited MINT Bishop Arts for a cleaning and check up. WOW, extremely friendly and professional staff from step one to finish! I have no idea if it is a training facility or if people just don't stay, but every time you go in there you are meeting someone new and no one knows that is going on with you. I came to the Bisho Arts location because they were able to take my wife (a new patient) and myself at the same time. Just to give a little detail - I've been to the Mockingbird location, Plano location, cedar hill location, and Arlington locations, so I understand Mint's model pretty well. Every Mint office offers an "upscale boutique" feel with amenities to make the customer feel comfortable. The only key factor in rating the various offices is the staff. With that being said, out of all the locations I have gone to this is by far the best in class! From Gracie processing my wife's paperwork, to being evaluated by the doctor, and checking out it has been the best visit I have ever had!! Jessica and Francisco are awesome and are amazing at what they do! I hope this level of service isn't temporary due to the new opening but will continue because I will be coming faithfully . read more

What a awful experience. I called in to make an opt because one of my filling fell out. After waiting in the lobby nearly 30 mins after my opt time they took me back I again told them my issue is my Filling fell out and I need to replace it. They took some x-rays and then I wanted for almost an hour to see the dentist. She did a few thing another 30 mind past before someone else shows up to try to sell me a whole host of other items and say they don't have time to fill my tooth today. But have time to do a cleaning. What a load of crap. read more

From the moment I walked in, I was given amazing service. The lady at the front desk said hello with a huge smile. I filled out paperwork from an iPad and she offered me a bottle of water. Once that was done, she offered beat headphones to listen to music while I waited. Only took about 10 minutes and then I was taken to the back to do X-rays. They then went on the clean to my teeth and the girl was very nice and gentle with me. They even have massage chairs and offered to play Netflix, Hulu, and pandora. Amazing service!
